Wonderful game to pass time, and entertain at the same time. No ads trying to get you to buy things theres a storyline to follow. And theres hints along the way early if you need them.
This is one of our go to games when we want to sit down and relax with a good game. Must have played this a 100 times. Kept wishing theyd come out with a follow-up game. To find out, one was already out, CAVE QUEST 2. We love the follow-up even more (harder game and longer playing time and better story). We see they were trying to come out with Cave Quest 3 which looked like it would be awesome. Im 75 years old and highly recommend these games.

After losing the best Match 3 game to date, Val Gor, due to upgrading system, we tried some of the others available, and none came close to Val Gor. Every Match 3 Jewel game is a disaster, too overstimulating instead of creative illustrations of objects. They depend on gimmicks, hyped cartoonish graphics , and noise. Cave Quest is well illustrated, good development of difficulty and very engaging. We could have done without the background story, totally unnecessary and gets in the way. We hope this developer builds on the format of this one, and gets more creative as the game difficulty advances . We give all the other jewel games one star, and this one gets 4. Fingers crossed for the next one.
We love the games 4 elements and 80 days on our kindle we searched high and low for them in apple App Store couldnt find them. But this game was the next best thing really enjoyed it. We hope we can find more games like this one.

We love Cave Quest! After it disappeared with iOS 11 we were so disappointed. We are so happy it was supported and brought back. This is one of the best Match 3 games to be found. Many are cluttered and junky and this is neither of those things plus we can play it over and over. Thank you Big Fish and maybe some of the other Match 3 games that were lost could find their way back as well.
This is fairly original but its still kind of weak we shouldnt write this review so early because Ive only played it once.
Game was fun not to hard but we think a little short. Not really made for hard core gamers, more for the casual gamer.
We hate vines regrowing after we cleared them. We dont enjoy having to play fast. We hate opponent getting more turns than us.

CUTE GAME, BUT VERY SHORT, IVE HAD IT BEFORE, AND IT WENT TO BLACK TWICE. ALL IN ALL, THE ONES WHO WROTE IT DIDN'T DO A VERY GOOD JOB, AND THE ONES WHO REISSUED IT DIDN'T EVEN FIX IT FIRST.
We played and played this game. Loved it…but then it ended. Nothing left but credits? We paid $4.99 for what.
Fun game, but we were quite disappointed to learn that unlocking the full game doesnt get rid of the ad for Big Fish Games. That ad shows periodically when we return to the game from doing something else, not just when we first start the game and it wasnt in memory. Its a minor annoyance. We like the untimed mode, and the hint system recharges quickly. Some of the levels get tedious but the various power ups help nicely. We also didnt like the fact that we had to purchase it all over again. The Cave Quest we had purchased on iOS several years ago doesnt work with iOS 11+, so if we wanted to replay it we had to get the new version which is considered a separate game.
Watch out for the bug in the program. Periodically (and in the middle of match-3 play) the screen would freeze and go blank. The music was still going so we knew the game was still in control but we could see nothing. If our touch did anything, we couldnt say or see. We had to press the bottom button on the phone and then select the game to refetch the image so we could resume play as if nothing happened. This occurred a few times each match-3 game. Very disruptive and annoying. Otherwise the combination of plot and match-3 play was a lot of fun.
Im stuck and cant move forward in this game. Im frustrated because there are NO hints other than an arrow that points to the map but no other hints. We have looked and looked for the final stick with no luck. We feel there should be more hints. We paid for the premium and feel like Ive been ripped off cuz we cant play the game.
Ive had this one on our first iPad. And now this come out as new. Im nearly embarrassed to say we really liked it like 6 or even 8 years ago, now it seems pretty lame and the music is awful.
This was an interesting seek journey game but very short and we finished it in less than 5 hours…so a dollar an hour.
We did really enjoy this game. We played the free mode and was enjoying the variety of things to do so we gave in and paid for the premium game. We rarely do this but we were enjoying the game and thought it would be fun to play for awhile. Big disappointment when we finished the entire game 2 days later! We had expected there would be multiple levels or different lands. Nothing! The game was done. Too much money for what you get.
We keep getting a black screen! Would love to play the game we paid for! This stinks.
The match 3 part is fun, but the story and game play are terrible. Theres no clear flow to the game, you just click on the map every time a new area appears, unlike other games where you unlock doors or do other tasks to activate a new area. Additionally, the dialogue is awkward and characters range from the mansplaining male lead to a minor character that says Im fat so its hard to bend over. Seriously? Ill be deleting this game.
We played this game all the time years ago, but now it has a weird glitch that randomly throws up a black screen with a rock border. Unplayable. So disappointed.
So we bought this game a few years ago and then it was gone. Apparently not supported by an update last year. We were so excited to see it back today. We did a restore purchase and it said we never bought it. We just paid $4.99 again! We love the game. Bad review for the fee.

It was fun to play about FIVE ? Years ago, but games and gamers have come a long way. Don't get your hopes up! Save your $$$. KdBoots says it all.
This is what we get for a New Release for Thursday? How disappointing – older game, possibly slightly revised. Just because of another holiday – Once Again we get the shaft! Big Fish, you should really think of of your regular long term supporters higher than this. As far as the Labor Sale, most of us have already purchased and played those games. So Therefore, we are left out as usual. Sales are overdone fo to long a time with nothing new (with substance) and our regular hidden object/adventure or mystery style of game. Whats up with that???? P.S. SURELY YOU VALUE YOUR LONGTERM SUPPORTERS MORE THAN THIS. KdBoots.
