Great game, played since the beginning in 2011 we have a level 220 warrior and the grind takes forever but it’s worth the loot.
Well, it was great when it functioned, but this game is full of security dangers, major server lag, and simply put not playable at all any longer. Kudos for the new owners for trying, but this is the worst performance ever experienced in all our years playing. So, packing the bags and jumping off the Celtic Heroes train wreck now. For potential newbies, go play some other game and do not waste your time or money on this destined-to-end-badly game. We believe Celtic Heroes is ready for the scrapyard all. UPDATE: 06-2023 NOTE: LAG is even worse now. Rotten game.
Yall care nothing about the player base, bloodthorn glitch has not been fixed in over 2 years, Unox glitch is back nothing has been done with that, you dont respect your tos. The Griefing nothing gets done, our clan hasnt been able to kill Dino for over 2 weeks Becuase of mages lapping lures. And tanks blowing up wyrms and trolls. Our clan doesnt grief yet any boss we go to. Where griefed so we dont kill. We sent dozens of screenshots and videos to yall. Yet we get the same response everytime. Nothing is being done. Anytime yall doing something its either new chest and the same ole events. No new stuff has been added. Yet your getting all this money, yall dont deserve your ruining the game by doing absolutely nothing. So worried about your paychecks. Yet the game is declining. So youre soon going to run out of money.
This used to be a fun mobile game to play with friends, but the new developers, DECA, have mostly ruined the game. They messed up their premium chest back in February and refused to roll back the servers again like the community BEGGED on Discord. Instead, they banned everyone who interacted with the bug they introduced, no matter whether the interaction was accidental or on purpose. Their support team is beyond unhelpful. Dont waste your money on this game when the developers dont care about taking your toons away at a moments notice for THEIR mistakes. And if you accidentally interact with one of their bugs, DONT REPORT IT TO DECA OR THEY MAY BAN YOU.
Heres some ideas to get the game back up and running instead of wasting time on content that wont bring players back let alone new players. First off rework the gold gain dropped from mobs, if level 50 lux shop costs 100s of thousands of gold and mobs drop max 100g per then rework it. Make content based around the whole community and not top clans as in instances or something similar to dungeons but can only enter them a select amount of times per week for group gear. Put mord in a room and have like 2 groups kill it for drops instead of making everything revolve around player decision making bc lets be honest alot of players are greedy fcks. Player base needs to be focused more then keeping oldies happy. Focus on making the game easier for new players rather then hoping the limited player base provides money.
We have reached 220 with full gear. And ill say the journey to 220 (current soft cap level) after years and years of playing has been wonderful. The community is great aside from epona. Not even epona likes epona. We look forward to the game getting new content from deca. As it would be the first time in 4 years.

Dont bother downloading. The game used to be great. They do lots of updates but theyre useless if you cant log in. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Just deleted the game after 7 years and probably 20 toons spread over 5-6 servers.
This game is still one of our favorites been playing since 2012 a really long time and recently there has been log in issues where one of our accounts stays on the connecting loading screen and never gets in and another account connects in but wont load into the game, this game is starting to bug and have many issuesi was hoping for deca to make the game way advanced but seems like it has gotten a little worst,but overall still willing to play :D.
We have played this game for half of our life. It is a fun game with amazing people. It recently got bought by DECA too, so hopefully they will bring new content in the future :)
Our family has played EQ for 21 years and wanted a good mmo to play on Mobile , that would allow us a similar feel. We started playing this last summer after discovering it in the App Store. We loved it and with our recommendation the whole family started playing. We wish we had found it sooner as we have learned it has been around since 2011. The game is gorgeous,with large open zones , and a huge lvl cap that we as a family clan hope to be working on for years to come. It has solo content , group content and raid content !! We have enjoyed holiday events as well. The trade skills of cooking and fishing are excellent ,, we hope they add smithing and tayloring at some point. One thing we would love to be added is control over skin wodes ,, ( personal thing lol we want our whole body blue 8) ,, and we would like to change eye colors , other then that we absolutely love the customizable options for characters and am happy with the classes. Well we gotta get back to game . Update , frankly this is the best mmo on mobile , and we have tried a lot of others in our search for this one. The mechanics are great , we like that you dont run into endless boxing and our family has greatly enjoyed the longer individual armor quests for the zones. We still hope they add a few more tradskills maybe potion or poison making in with smithing and tailoring. Still working on our Christmas quest from last year because we all wanted snowing helms ,, we are hoping they can add to this and leave the NFCs up make different ones for the other holidays ,, so they can expand it to maybe quests that include a full set of quested fashion outfits and a mount ,, so it isnt just a hat. Either way we still love the game.
Im an ig player back from 2011and we gotta say the fact that yall cant take care of a little hacker is embarrassing like cmon we just dropped 250 on the game and you guys are making it so regrettable.
Although the game has some elements of PTW, it is very hospitable for those who prefer free to play. The XP is easy to collect, only requiring that you do side-quests in the game. It gives you of variety in terms of classes, and there is no best or worst. All classes are special and are designed to align with the players preference in gameplay. The quests give you an opportunity to get cool new items, and assists in building the environment in the game. The graphics although not on par with this year does not effect the gameplay. Seeing that it was created in 2013 and designed to be flexible with free to play, the development team could only work with the resources they had. In consideration of these factors, the game deserves a 5 star despite being tertiary compared to RPGs today.
We played this game when we were incredibly young. Im a teenager now, and we started to play it a game just to give it another chance since we played it twice beforehand. We wanted to clarify a lag that we’ve been struggling with for around 20 minutes give or take. Our character is a Ranger, and Im currently doing a few quests. The problem is we lag whenever our character is in combat, and it takes like 5 minutes just to kill a simple enemy, which is frustrating. Thats why we left the game prior; lag. We tried messing with the graphics and that did nothing. We dont know whats wrong. Please look into the issue.

Really wish you would develop better coin system or put. Fletching arrows into this game. We cant afford the quivers for our ranger and dropped arrows are not enough to do squat.
Supported the devs other MMO, Warhammer Odyssey. Built a stack of consumables as did many others (their beta still had tons of IAP); while spending dev time working for another NFT project instead of fixing the game, they decided to quietly shut it down overnight. All official channels off communications gone in a flash, Discord Reddit and the like with no trace of refunds barely a year after release. Im sure what we spent was on the low amount. Devs should be ashamed of this fraud, and Apple ought to look into whats going on with this company. Proceed with caution!
-A short article from the average player. Monetization. A word online multiplayer games cannot live without. There are many ways to do this from season passes to micro transactions to downloadable content. Sometimes games will give players who spend money a slight advantage over normal players- other times they gain nothing at all. Celtic Heroes has a special type of monetization called Loot boxes. Loot boxes is a variation of microtransaction of which the rewards are random. The player has no control over the rewards they receive for paying in-game or real world currencies although the game often shows a list of possible loots that the player may get from the loot box. Usually this is not a problem since most games will have only cosmetics in them which have no actual effect on the gameplay, like Overwatch. However- Celtic Heroes has extremely powerful items inside the boxes which FORCES the players to rely on them. Without them, youd level up four or five times slower. We would even go as far to say Celtic Heroes is an MMO Gacha Game. A free to play mobile game that highly rewards players spending money to get RANDOM POWERFUL ITEM(s) thus, by definition, making it a Gacha Game. Not every player, however, has the money to do so. The developers know this but they do not worry whatsoever- this is where Whales come in. Whales are a rare and special type of player who will spend TONS of money to get in game items. Despite being the smallest percentage of players Whales can provide up to 50% of all revenue in Free to Play games. Celtic Heroes rewards Whales HEAVILY with Elixers, rare cosmetics, and even in game currency. These elixers can do anything from boosting your total health, energy, regeneration, armor, and most important of all: experience gains. The most common to see is Super which increases your gains by x4 for 15 minutes. You would think thats massive and makes leveling very easy and even fun, but no, thats not the case at all. These Super experience elixers make leveling a character BARELY TOLERABLE. In endgame levels you need to spend HOURS killing mobs to level up ONCE (assuming you have the elixer on the entire time). This would mean without the elixer youd need to spend at least 8 hours per level for TWENTY LEVELS (200-220). Since the servers are usually small you only need a handful of Whales in the game to supply the entire server- thats the case in ours at least. One player spends thousands in the game and is able to supply most of the server, or at least the ones who have the in game currency to buy the items. Without this Whale playing in our server leveling up would be impossible and intolerable. Why is fifty players relying on one player to spend money even allowed? When we see the way other large games are monetized we get sickened by this one. Even having permanent double experience gains would BARELY making it tolerable without the experience elixers. This toxic cycle only benefits the developers. Players who cannot afford to buy the loot boxes suffer since they can only advance if someone else buys them and sells it to them for in game currency. Why should we the players go through this horrible monetization? If Celtic Heroes cannot give us the quality of life to even play the game without spending TOO MUCH money why should we play their game? Its obvious they care little about the average player. Despite receiving thousands in money they never give content to the game. They hardly do any experience gains events- maybe twice a year at most. Spending money in this game will only further insinuate the developers to never change this monetization. Boycotting the game, showing the devs we will not stand their toxic monetization, will be the only way they will listen to us.
Servers been down for 2 days and we got no update on whats going on.
Such an excellent game! Glad we returned a couple weeks ago, hoping DECA keeps up the updates and new features (and a plat sale soon lol) The only downsides we see as still there from earlier play are things which can be tweaked to help steer player behavior – Dead servers vs busy servers? Maybe merge some quiet servers. Economic imbalance causes situations where desperate end gamers in need of millions to gear up so they can join raids farm low level uncommon quest and skill book drops to sell to low levels for crazy prices after blocking access to those mobs. Perhaps having more No Trade drops or blocking drops if you are way over the level of the mob? End game quests and drops on each server controlled by a handful of players dictating how other endgame players may play. This works to keep the peace but isn’t how a game mechanic should work as the tone and culture of your game is then handed to a few players. Perhaps having top end gear drop in time locked instanced maps so that a player may only try that zone / be part of a raid in that zone once per time period but the zone is cloned for any raid group entering to try it. This would allow smaller clans to continue to play to end game without having all players leave to join the massive clan at the top of the heap.
We’ve been playing this game since 2012. We miss how the game used to be not gonna lie. But we like the way the game looks now. Danu used to be one of the most active servers and we still play on Danu. DPS Warrior 4L!!

We think this game in phenomenal and extremely underrated. We have been playing for a reallly long time and we enjoyed every moment was worth staying up late and talking with people across the world and just having a great time. The only downside is its sadly too much pay to win. We think pay to win is a good feature but there is no grind feature for money as well ( for people who dont fish). Mobs give you little money and quests dont give you all that much so its kind of difficult to get better armour in the game. Im aware joining a clan is beneficial but still for those new players joining who dont understand the culture its hard. REGARDLESS! Fantastic game keep up the hard work Devs your doing Amazing!
This game needs attention, its about time they make it actually possible to farm and earn a FAIR amount of gold for all these overly priced items. Lower the prices on items, increase the gold drop rate, make a way to earn platinum for FREE through in game missions etc. We’ve played this game since 2012 and it kills us that its almost 2022 and yet this game is still pay to win. At the BARE MINIMUM at least increase the amount of platinum you get for $100. Or increase the amount of gold you get for the platinum.

It’s your typical, progress-gated, pay2win, MMORPG ‘ phone-app. There’s all these ‘ skills’ and ‘ abilities’ which don’t really do anything unless you buy gold from the cash-shop to buy the in-game gear to boost them… Nothing you haven’t seen before… ‘ dailies’, ‘ come-back-tomorrow’, cash-shop skill/xp boosts… All the goofy gimmicks of yesteryear which no one cares about now.
Most pay to win game on the App Store. You can pay $1 to get 4x exp for only 15 minutes or you can spend hours grinding. PvP is a joke because it comes down to who paid the most in micro transactions for the best gear since there isnt much skill in the game. If you want to collect items its not worth it because limited time items always come back but only if you pay hundreds of dollars for the. This game used to be fun when it first came out but slowly turned into a money grab. Used to be 4 updates a year now just one a year. Been playing since 2011 but Im done now.
Was a loyal fan for years but the app constantly crashes and we have a newer iPhone so we know its not our phone. Its annoying and honestly you just lost a loyal costumer cuz we spend money on the app.
Spent $99.99 on the chests in this game because it is impossible to level or do any thing after you do the first few guests aside from the tutorial. Then we couldnt find any buyers because apparently we bought their platinum right after double platinum ended. Complete scam. Terrible economy in a trade based game. Spent about 3 hours just trying to sell chests and we could sell a single 1 (of the 100 we bought). Purchase is still pending so we froze our card and will issue for a refund ASAP. We dont recommend this game. Aside from all of this, the player base is toxic and rude. 0/10.

This game with every update since two years ago is gone down hill completely, they dont care about their game anymore obviously and we’ve lost multiple high level accounts due to supports inaccuracy to be help/solve the issues on this game.
Sadly we still playing this game because COD isnt a true global game. Theres been no new content beside hat quests in over 3 years they didnt do a Halloween event this year. The blood moon was missed by many and only looks like getting a holiday of tell us why you are thankful for the game event thats going on right now. Players have told other to go kill themselves and VR doesnt do anything. Shouting racial slurs in area where young teens are and yet the players are still not banned. On epona there is a clan named EBK and they constantly herass people and ks. Moderators/admins seem to encourage this behavior. This game is going downhill fast because of EBK. Something needs to be done about this clan or change.

Hello, we’ve been playing game for years and have enjoyed playing with many online friends. However, recently we were charged for ingame plat and never received it. We had to have apple refund our purchase and we never got feedback from developers. One Thumb Mobile isn’t the company That owns this game or at leace its been licenced to another company and thier customer support, game support and up dated have been terrible in the past year. Be very careful about putting money in this game because they have not been taking care of this MMO. Be warned -TheMachine.
This was an amazing game 2012-2015. It had dedicated developers, an incredibly strong player base and tons of fun content. Its unfortunate that theyve given up on such a great game but all good things must come to an end. If youre here looking to play for the first time, move on, the partys over lol.
We bought 20$ worth of platinum, the store shows error every time we open it and we do not have our platinum. We’ve tried to contact support and have not heard back from them! We’ve tried everything and still nothing. The games dead, no one plays anymore. Dont waste your time theres better mmos.
We’ve been looking for a MMORPG game for awhile and it took us ages to find a game that fit all our expectations. We were sick of the MMORPG games that would Auto Play or would throw tons of buttons at you and fill your screen up. When we found this game we were unsure weather it would be the same as all the other trashy games but we were shocked and amazed when we started playing this game. It is super new player friendly and the character customization is just right where it is not to much. The graphics are not the best to be as expected because it is an old game but it makes up for that in quality. We would recommend to everyone to try this game out. Now on to the things we would improve once you are done with the tutorial story line the game jumps way up in difficulty not to much to where it is impossible but to the point where you have to grind levels to complete one quest, not that, that is a bad thing but the side quests dont reward that much exp. Also we would recommend giving out quests after the tutorial to be able to get a mount and teach them about where to buy weapons and gear. Also most of the side quests are extremely hard and annoying to new players when they do not know where to look or when luck is a sole base. Overall we love the game we would recommend everyone to give it a shot and we hope this review gave you some insight.
We began back in 2013-13. We play on and off. Usually when a update drops. We play for the event prizes and maybe work on our level. Beat thing to do is find a good clan that has active members to level quickly, however we have solod most of our way. Druid is our favorite. Enjoy the game. It is worth the download.

We have been playing this game ever since winter 2011 and we treasure every memory we have acquired from our play through over the years. It is a fantastic way to meet new friends and has thousands of hours of playability.
Its a great game but we dont like having to delete and reinstall the game because the game wont load properly.
Games new hat quest bugged us out and we cant interact with any NPCs anymore. No response from the developers since the update.
Dont get us wrong, this game is a great game but this new season made our game quit working which is really frustrating after getting to level 157 and having tons of stuff that took a while to get. We couldnt see any of the characters and it gave us nothing to do. Which led us to delete the game and reinstall it. We do not recommend people trying the new season so if you are going to play it do not try it because it messes up the whole game. It is well developed and a fun game and we do recommend downloading it.
We tried logging in with our Apple ID today, and it didnt let us log in. We’ve been logging in with the same ID for a month now with no issue. Same thing with our facebook login. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE.
