Cessabit: a Stress Relief Game Reviews

We dont know what is up with all the negativity in the reviews, we really like this game even with a few things we would change. Yes,the music is a little creepy and it does make you feel a little on edge but you can mute your mic and not listen to it, it is incredibly hard to play the ones that are all black when you dont know where the light button is. And lastly, when you are in Alaska and you go back to look for clues your screen goes black . It could be our iPad. Weve had it for about three years and itsbeen dropped more than once. Please fix these few things! Overall, everything is amazing and fun. Every level leaves you wanting more! And as far as relaxing games go, this ones been the best!

Literally thought it was a hidden object game and its absolutely not.

Very relaxing! Helps with our attention to detail.

It is a great game we just wish there was more levels and harder. Maybe a hint button or something like that. But overall good game.

We didnt even want to try it after reading the negative reviews. Im so glad we went one step farther and read the Today article. Idk how long ago those neg reviews were written, and whether the game got better after that. But we wonder if ppl are going in with wrong expectations, or maybe most game players are into action or at least figuring out game strategy. Because, yeah, we definitely see how none of those approaches are going to get you off the ground in Cessabit. Im calling it Genius bc its making us think about what we see and how we interact with it in a way that our conditioned brain hasnt had to deal with since we were probably about 5yo! Interesting and ironic that, yeah, kids really are so creative and not just out of the box but instead dont yet know what the box is! Remember when your mind worked more with images and ideas and interactions… And then with WORDS, no, not so much? We remember it, and we bet you do, too. Thats why we find Cessabit to be very challenging, but also exciting. Its almost like we can FEEL that long lost part of our brain firing up again! We certainly am not acing the questions about the images, at least not the first time through, but theres no pressure, you can just keep going back to the image and trying again. So we guess that part is relaxing, after all. Mostly we feel like Im learning something long forgotten. No, its better than that; its realizing that those long forgotten lessons have been well missed. We may go back through all those negative reviews and change our Helpful vote to Not Helpful. This developer is not some idiot or a-hole; this developer is a genius!!

We paid for the app. It states 33 levels, we got 12. All other levels are locked. It says no in app purchases. Can someone help? We liked the 12 we got. We gifted to grandkids. But $1.99 is too much for 15 min of play.

The tutorial is needed and the developers need to give more time to this!! Allow the paying users to go back and access the tutorial, just like repeating the games.

This is an interesting app. Unfortunately sometimes when we touch the image absolutely nothing happens. We go back later and a few things happen. So when presented with images and questions to answer we have not seen the objects/images no matter how many times we have tapped. When we close the app and go back in one or two appear. Is this supposed to happen?

We regrets this purchase. While visually pleasing, the tap/swipe feature to reveal clues didnt work that well. Leaving us less than calm and totally frustrated. Good concept, frustrating experience.

Stresses us out trying to figure out what it wants us to do, and actually frustrates us more than relaxes us. Its pretty easy to figure out usually, however we were looking for an app to chill us out not make us tap a screen a million times looking for clues.

We love puzzle games, relaxing games. This game isnt great.

We really love the concept of this game, but there are some pretty major problems. 1. Not enough levels. We assumed there would be a decent amount of levels, but as of right now, there arent. We finished them all in about an hour. 2 There is no way to tell which levels you have beaten and which you havent. 3. Im not sure we would consider this game relaxing. Some of the puzzle are down right frustrating.

We expected a meditative experience, getting into the images to absorb the details. This was partly accurate, but made difficult by Controls that seemed inconsistent. Some of the images are disturbing (downed planes, sinking ship) and the music induced a sense of anxiety over time.

We dont write reviews often, but this game rates one. What Thu wrote EXACTLY illustrates our feelings. Im deleting this game – and we wish we could get our $2 back. This was terribly frustrating, Im going back to reading news on the Coronavirus. Its more relaxing than this game.

4 of the 5 puzzles on the first level had multiple wrong answers. Dont buy. Seeking refund.

Frustrating and incorrect t answers. Needs attention from developers. Waste of $1.99.

Nothing explains the game clearly. We see 2birds but the answer is 4?!

The choices for at least a few of these are not accurate. There will be two trees In a picture but the choice is 1,3,4,5. The city scape has three yellow windows but that is not a choice. If it was accurate we would like this. Feel like we just wasted money :/

This is the most aggravating, incompetent, nerve racking stress app we Have ever bought … SAVE YOUR MONEY & YOUR TIME IT IS CREEPY. APPLE needs to really try out these apps before they ENDORSE THEM …

When you tap the pictures the game doesnt work half the time. REFUND REQUESTED!

This game is much more stressful than stress relief, especially with the creepy music in the background. What is more infuriating for us personally is that they will ask you their questions but provide the answers that are completely wrong or make no sense. So either they are not asking the right question or didnt explain their rules well enough. A couple examples:#1) apparently when you see a bird AND hear bird noises, those noises couldnt possibly be coming from that bird. Oh no! The answer is 2, duh. Why not add questions that are auditory based observations? Or make some of the puzzles for people that prefer auditory stimulation as a stress relief function? Because in a VISUAL game if we see 1 bird, there is 1 bird. Hear chirping from 1 bird? Then it is liking from that 1 bird you see in the picture… #2) they frame their pictures into the shape of another object. Like in a slice of pizza, then ask how many trees there are…… But then proceed to not give you the option for how many trees you saw…. Huh? What? Are they counting the pizza as a tree because its also a triangle? Why not just ask about shapes? Even though it only cost 2$, its a waste of money, Im never playing this game again. Im tensing up just thinking about it. Dont get it.

The questions dont match up with the images sometimes. Does the exact opposite of its intention. Its infuriating garbage app. Would like our money back.

You are correct. Youre swiping around and tapping random things because there is no real rhyme or reason to why anything occurs. The game mechanics are just to manipulate the scene until you find everything, but it doesn’t even indicate if anything is still missing. It almost supposed to be like an interactive ISPY, but it fails so bad that we wish we could get our money back. Its as if it was made by an artist with not one idea about game design.

The visuals are amazing and its a fun game to play. Definitely recommended!

Interesting idea. Well done. Gets harder as you go. Got our brain juice spillin. Good job! @AppNasty.

Hey, it was extremely fun. We love this game, but wish there are more games and hint button. We couldnt see sunset at inside stage and stars at space stage, we just played a lot :-) we look forward to next upgrade!

Love the graphics and play. Thanks to the Dev for another sweet game!

Very stress relieving we just wish it was longer. We finished the game in two sessions!

We expected many more levels. Lower stress? You’ve got to be kidding…. We’re stressed paying for a game that was so short and just as we were getting into it… Wham… Bam.. Thank ya ma’am … Done.. Fini…. Over… No more…. That’s why only 3* fun but too few levels.

It was a decent game but entirely too short for the cost.

Visually pleasing but not really a game so much as a memorization app. We wish they had made demo levels so we knew what we were getting into. We probably should have watched a play through on YouTube or something though first.

Colors dont show up on iPhone 10x. Only occasionally.

This seems more like a strange test than a stress reliever. Seems more like youre wasting time rather than killing it. We guarantee you will just find yourself going back and forth between screens ad infinitum. Wheres Waldo is much better. We feel like we were duped out of $1.99.

We wish there were more levels, and that the interactions were more consistent, but we like the art and its a fun little puzzle memory game.

This is a good game for babies, or maybe people who dont like games. It requires no skill, and brings very little in the way of feeling accomplishment. Also we noticed a glitch where about 50% of the time, if we finished or lost a level, we were met with a white screen with no prompts or way out of it other than to kill the app. Overall not a great experience. We only felt inclined to review it because we paid 2 bucks for it. It should be free, until the developer can assure its worth the money. There seems to be a trend of just making a really easy, half put-together game, slapping some ethereal music behind it, and calling it a stress-relief game. Which is ironic, given how the constant bugs made for a pretty stressful experience.

Just not a good game, half the controls for stuff dont work, no colorblind option, the game froze on our three times, we uninstalled it. Wouldnt recommend. Seems like an easy cash grab after hidden folks, copying art style.
