We love this app! The design is cool on how you get to customize everything the only thing is we wish you can look at your characters through different devices/account like with our iPad or if we need to use it on our phone its there too.
Dont get us wrong. Its a wonderful app it works very well to keep track of everything. Our only problem with it is that we are trying to get into the custom shop and its not working.
Maybe Im wrong (and we hope we am), but this is not for any RPG system. We use the Genesys system which is not a d20 or any sort of numbered dice system. We tried utilizing this app and wasnt able to get it to work for Genesys. We admit that we are not a wizard when it comes crunching numbers and figuring out formulas, so maybe it can be used for any system, but we give it 4 stars because it does not work what we need but if we used a system that fit into this app, then it might be worth 5 stars.
A multi-class/ duel class update would be great. Im trying to bring over a character from another game and he has multiple classes. As the app goes we can only do a single class character.
We like the customizable features. Great for your own home brew characters. This makes it so much easier to keep track of stats. Would recommend.
We think this is a great app overall and its well put together. The only thing Im a bit confused about is the mana slots. How exactly is it supposed to be used? Is it just a section to keep track of all of your spells, or is it a little more in depth than that?
We really like the look of the app and it very useful for keeping track of our character without WiFi. Can we ask that you add the ability to have copper coins? Our DM gives us a lot of different types of coins and usually we just have to round down or ignore copper coins when we are using the app.
This app is amazing for creating custom characters and remembering their stats for role-playing games how ever there are a few missing features that we would like to see in the future update. The option to attack with a character, would add quite a bit of depth to this app, we create both characters for our players and our players enemies, and it gets a little bit tedious to alter the health and armor each and every time we want a character to attack.
We really like this program and everything about it but we do wish there was a place doctor icon because of the monk subclass way of mercy.
We really love this app, the custom shop is definitely amazing, it hasnt seen a update in a bit though, kinda bummed our only suggestion is to allow custom images for custom items and avatars, and also add some sort of menu for a pet? Everything else though is the best out of any character sheet app Its all detailed with great art, easy to use, and easy to get around to the various menus.
This app wasnt what we were looking fori saw customization options & was hoping that it would work for a different system (non d&d). They let you play with custom options w/o upgrading ityou just cant save them! However, the custom options still didnt adapt the sheet for what we needed. But, the bit of playing around that we did revealed a very beautiful app with excellent UI. If youre looking for a d&d style character sheet, this is perfect for you :)
Loving this app so far! Primarily use it to keep track of all our known spells which, as a cleric, is a lot! Its took a while to enter them all in, especially since the app lets you include descriptions of what the spells do, but its so nice to have a cohesive and comprehensive list that we can sort though when choosing what spells to prepare for each game! The app automatically places the spells in alphabetical order and groups them by level. Only complaint is that, when you open the magic tab, you start at the bottom. So, if we want to check the description for one of our level 0 Cantrips, we have to scroll all the way up to the top and, as we mentioned, its kind of a long list. The rest of the app is great too. Was one of the few we found that included a Wood Elf as a starting race option and it helps us keep track of our characters level and stats really well. Can even add her starting equipment to the inventory panel and the bonuses for items like armor will be applied once you mark them as equipped. The developers did an awesome job!
Been having a lot of fun making character sheets with this app, but we noticed when we delete items from our inventory, they come back if we leave the inventory page and return to it. Am we doing something wrong, or is that an issue?
Really great app so far, but not so much for Monks. We can definitely flip between apps, but Id love to find one that has all our skills in one place. Any plans to add martial arts and ki abilities?
This app looks awesome. And we played around with it a bit and we may use it but probably not. We need to be able to keep the players guide and our character sheet in front of us b/c we are new to DnD. We cant use it in split screen.
Its honestly a hands down great tool except for one problem Im having. How does one add to their inventory. We can add gold but nothing else. No armor or weapons to speak of.
Hi great game just a few things Id like to say. First love the app as a kid our imagination is crazy so we decided to make our own board game called MG this app helps out a lot but since as you know Im a kid we dont have the ability to spend money so the custom shop thing is out of reach for us. All Im asking is that you find a way to let people use the custom shop but still have to pay to use the full version of the shop we know this is confusing but just consider this.
This app is actually pretty good for managing a character, you just need to learn where everything is, its kinda sad that it doesnt have any racial features or any class or background information but if you have the books this is actually useful.
Buuuuuut you must pay for the ability to write your own items. We understand the company must make money somehow but we found this disappointing.
We’ve tried a few character sheet apps but THIS ONE IS BY FARRRRRR THE BEST! We love it SOOOOO much and, if we have spare money sometime, will gladly get premium in thanks! We have a few recommendations though: 1. We wish we could upload our own pictures or at least customize our own (trust us those pics are awesome though) 2. This sounds crazy but can there be a choice for an animal character? Our character has a wolf companion it id like to have both character sheets on our phone. So for the attacks and such it could say bite… 3. For the attacks (not the animal ones) our character does two attacks and does 1d10+4 but we dont have a place to put +4. Or we cant write two attacks anywhere. But we LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this sooooo much and am SOOOOOOOOOO thankful for it! Also we wanna buy premium but it doesnt say whether its a flat payment or per month. We will only buy flat payment tho thanks again!
We LOVE this app so much!! Normally we would play a game and then it would be two weeks till we play again and we lose our characters sheets and this makes it so much easier, we love the format and got our whole family hooked on it, we just wish there was a spot for alignment and a better format for the magic slots its hard to make sense of it and having them separate from have a level one spell or level two spells. But other than our minor complaints, we love this app so much! Thank you!!
We cannot fins the difference between the 8.99 purchase and the 2.99 purchase; the features arent listed anywhere we can find. We like the app as the free version enough to go for an upgraded version, but its impossible to know whether the purchase would be reasonable if the features we hope for arent included in the upgrade. Anyone care to clarify?
We very much like the flexibility of the app and the overall way it is implemented. That being said we would not use it in its current state, except to evaluate it, because of some bugs that sometimes prevent templates from being usable, requiring the templates to be backed up. Also, if a template that is currently in use changes, the alterations are not propagated to the characters using it, which for us makes the entire app useless for what we had intended. So, currently no skills etc. Can be added to a character as they are thought of.
Love the app however when we try and get the custom shop upgrade the app wont let us witch is a drag.

We’re gonna be honest this app was crap. Magic is nonexistent, the inventory was no help at all. The character images provided were pretty cool, but the way the sheet itself was set up made it really difficult to level up, and there was no room at all to include any racial or class traits.
One tap and already misinformation. Why is an unarmed strike 1d4 by default when only a low level monk has that? Why can we have infinite hit dice at level 1? Why can we be level 100 when a PC can be level 20 max, and monsters have max CR 30? We may as well go into notes on our phone and scribble down that our dagger does infinite damage, +infinity to hit, and increase our AC tenfold. We get open-endedness, but this is just lazy.
This is the best character creation app we’ve found but the only problem is you cant add a magic items +s to the attack rolls.
Hey there, unsure where to put this however you seem to look at these so Ill do it here. We had a bug with the app where we already had a list of characters and decided to make another, when we finished naming and selecting the icon the app crashed. Trying to check the character sheet for said character puts us into a permanent loading screen, and we cant delete them either. We think really we just accidentally overflowed the amount of characters possible, however if it can be fixed that would be grand.
We really love the look and feel of this app having character portraits and item icons built in. Im really hoping they replicate a lot of the functionality from fight club 5 (keep track of hit dice and other counters, rest buttons build in,dice rolls etc).
App is super convenient and easy to use, plus the added dice roller is very useful. Especially if youre rolling up a new character. Only thing Id want improved on is general optimization improvements and either more character pictures or the ability to use pictures in your library for characters. Otherwise, would recommend highly.
The app seems very good, and seems to have everything for DnD. Although, maybe add templates for more gams like pathfinder, star finder, (Etc.)
Im a dm and we absolutely love the simplicity and we would love to try it in the new campaign we started but Im currently having some issues with weapons/inventory/shop. We can seem to see any items nor can we add anything. Kinda limits the app for some of our newer players who wouldnt want to purchase something to play.
To start off, this app is one of the best that we’ve seen. It makes everything so easy and has many, many features. The only thing that we would love to have (that no other apps that we have seen have) would be able to have a party option. Basically, it enables you to join a campaign and asks you whether your a PC or the DM. If your the PC, the apps functions as normal for the campaign. If your the DM, you can see everyones information and can easily access everything (even set up custom items for your characters to obtain). Im someone who likes the surprise of not knowing what our other party members have so possibly adding an optional hidden view would be nice. Being able to only see limited information (health, class, etc.) could add various RP elements to the game while not making it totally secluded we think this would be an amazing feature and would encourage more people to download the app as everyone would have to have the app for this to work. Thank you for making such an amazing app!
They are fixing the one issue we had and now its 5 stars again oh happy day!
We really enjoy the app but we have so far not found a way to add custom items to the loot table. Perhaps, we just have not found it yet or perhaps it is not a feature. If it is the latter then we believe it should be a feature, if the former we would like to know how.
We were pleased with this digital version of a character sheet. It includes dice!? Thats nice! But while writing our background/back-story it wouldnt scroll down for longer text. We were typing blind. We would have cut and pasted what we had written into our phones notes section but it wouldnt let us cut, or paste. If the scrolling feature OR the cut/paste was an option we would have been happier.
This app is really nice, especially for being free. Its great for the beginner DM, such as myself, to keep track of all the PCs. It could use a couple more things in the inventory section, but for the most part its a very well rounded app. We also really like all the options for the player avatars.
We’ve had this app for a while and us and our group love it, theres just one problem that we’ve found, theres no support for multiclassing. We mean if you choose a class that has the same hit dice then youre fine, but with any other class its a problem. We wish there was a way to add hit dice of different kinds to your characters, but so far we have just resorted to writing it down in notes to remember.
We havent spent a ton of time with this, but so far Im enjoying it. We’ve built 1 character and working on another now. Im not sure if theres a way to do it, but Id like to be able to access our characters from multiple devices. Not a deal breaker by any means. We just get inspired and want to build but dont always have our tablet with us.
We’ve been playing 5e for a few years, mainly as the dungeon master until recently. We find the app is really well formatted and we love the vibe you get from the appearance of the app. Its personally our favorite character sheet app on ios, however the only thing that bothered us is the fact you cant add your own character icons, cause personally, there wasnt any that we felt was appropriate for our character. Other than that, we think its a great app and keep up the good work!
Simple but has most of the details. Space for stats and saves perfect. Id like to see a character image for each race. Maybe a template for each class that auto fills hit die and standard inventory. Also a way to change atk die for unarmed for monk. Or bonuses for +1 items.
We have no clue how you delete a character does anyone know how?
We understand why its not 100% for d&d since you can use two games. But the only thing we would like to add its if you could make it that we can log in to Facebook or email or anything and be able to use our characters in any device. We have this app on our iPad because of screen size but theres times that we want to look at our character when Im not home. So being able to log in and change our guy in another device would b awesome!
This app is great. It has all you need to organize your character, without all the pain of erasing and adding. We’re not going to go in depth into its pros, though, we just wanted to get a few requests out. We wish there was a way to separate walking, flying and swimming speeds. A way to upload photos would be great – maybe behind the pro feature though, just because all of the existing pictures are amazing. A way to drag and drop scores, and auto-roll them, would be an awesome addition. A few items are missing from the Inventory, such as the mess kit and variations of the lantern. The fact that you have to go from Inventory to Character for a weapon proficiency bugs us. Also, armor proficiency isn’t in the app, as far as we can tell. But hey, it’s the best character sheet app for D&D we could find. Give it a try!
This app is a lifesaver! We always would run out of character sheets and orc pub was always glitching out on mobile. This has saved us so much time and hassle!
Im a dm who plays multitudes of tabletop games. This is an amazing resource for so many things whether it be players or npc. The only thing keeping this from being a full on 5 is at some random moments the text boxes have issues but all you have to do is tap twice and its fixed. This app is amazing and its FREE which is another plus for players who want to have a character sheet ready but they dont want to have to pay to do it. The icons improve this even more with their unique art style. We can tell this is an app that Im going to be using a lot.
We like how easy it is to use, but it doesnt have everything needed to make a character. The starting equipment is really important, like the dungeoneers pack and component pouch. Also, we dont know if this is supposed to be 5e but the magic system doesnt look like it.
