Chemyst – Puzzle Game Review
Chemyst is a Puzzle/Education/Casual game from Daniel Medeiros, first launched in 16th September 2019.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 128+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Chemyst Stand Out
Chemyst is a “mix-and-create”-style game where existing elements are mixed together to form new distinct elements. The difference is that here you can mix up to four elements, repeated or not, in a beaker at the bottom of the screen. If the items in the beaker react, you will see an explosion and new items will be formed!
Start with mixtures of basic chemicals (carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc.) and discover new compounds and molecules. As you progress through the game, common everyday elements will appear!
Use the silhouette of the items in the "LOCKED" list to get an idea of what these items are, and how they might be formed. For each successful reaction, the elements created will automatically move from the "LOCKED" to "UNLOCKED" list, from where they can be added to the mixing space with a double tap.
You can see basic information about the discovered elements, as well as the Wikipedia page dedicated to each element. Also, when you successfully complete a reaction, you'll see a dashboard with information about the finished reaction and the products created.
If you repeatedly make different non-reactive mixtures, the game will give you hints of possible reactions to be made with the elements already available.

Our favorite Alchemy app, thank you, however settings functions still dont work after a year waiting Im tired of the shaking lol.
It wont let us drag anything and is not working for us.
The game is intuitive, not all inclusive of chemicals, but very fun. Just wondering if the shake device to mix can alternately be controlled by a button. Playing on ipad Id rather not be shaking it. Good game so far.
Id like to turn off vibration but it never stays off, we also can not see the whole settings screen, the bottom is cut off.
So we just got Chemist and it disappointed us because you can barely do anything it just gives you a Big Bang and you can barely make anything.
This is very beautiful, awesome and cool. You can from all the cool graphics and activities and it need more for free.
