Tutorial is annoying and didnt learn anything but to just randomly click on things.
We tried to recover our old account but it forced us into a new account and no matter what we use to link account all the data is overwritten and now all our emails and facebooks are linked to 1 newbie account.
Need backbone controller support.
But now another COM2US money grabbing project. Their first event, over Christmas, was a big disappointment and made it obvious the game had changed hands. This game was a welcome change from the frustration of Summoners War, but now It is already starting to go downhill. What a shame.
We played this game for a while out of interest in the artwork. Dark Fantasy is very static in a way that keeps it from being offensive like satire or bad humor. Dark Fantasy is practically non-criticism if not safe, even in a Totalitarian setting. Im troubled with whether or not our game progress is considered a proprietary like what we paid for. Instead of something that has to be shared with others as Massively Roleplayer, an RPG is supposed to subtract moderation failure and forced cooperation to be more of a subtle art of patience and learning through improvement. We think Heir of Light is a total failure as a game. Its probably haunted. Yikes.
With the amount of pop ups for buying $50 – $100 packs non stop and heavy use of having to watch ads to claim rewards makes the game not worth playing. Plenty of good rpg/Arpg games that dont do that.
Beautiful graphics and very fun all around havent gotten far but we see myself playing for awhile.
We’ve played this game prior to when gamevil took over the licensing, and we still love the aesthetic and entirety of this game. And its apparently idle now!! Thats crazy!! Never had to pay for any in-game bonuses either!
The game is good love the graphic and the dark style but only thing we hate is that you cant use 5 star origin characters for enhancements so your stuck with copys its very annoying.
We miss the old version 5 years ago or 3 years ago where it wasnt gambling for servants not saying that it is we are just saying that because it seems like it, we also miss the hero menu. Where you got to choose the hero instead, we also liked when you could have a throne and your hero you chose would sit on it with heylel and your 1 servant mingling around as well, anyways pretty good game.
We think this game is beautiful but there is no way to control the monsters, you can select their attackers but the mechanics to move the monsters around is there but its not enabled :( which makes us go to other games. Also there is hardly any collaborations which makes it boring after a while.
Now: Since Com2Us acquired this game, theyve been letting it slowly die while trying to squeeze the last bit of cash from its players before it goes under. Disappointing Previous Review: Out of the collectible strategy rpg games out there, HoL is the best. Awesome graphics, theme, summon rates and ability to build out your teams. There is one fatal flaw for us though that we hope gets more attention. The auto ability of this game is so good we end up not needing to play except for moving around gear or selecting next stage. This is a huge miss in our opinion and we would like to see more work done to address the engaging aspect of this game. 10/10 on everything else.
We had link our game center account and we just didn’t play it for a few month. When we came back, they deleted our account and left us nothing. And this game now is more and more boring, it has a lot of bugs than it was before. We think there are many game that would be better than this game.
Its HEAVILY oriented toward male gamers to a nauseating level. We would spend a lot of money on it if it wasnt literally 80% women with annoying voices. Like it kinda kills the game unless its muted completely. Im begging the developers reading this to add more men to the game.

Normaly we dont write reviews and dont care about them, but this game is something else. It reminds us of dark souls, the characters, the bosses, the edgyness and the music OST. The game is insanly nostalgic to us and is the best mobile game we have ever played by far. Definitly give it a try. P.S. Is there a way to disable the vibration that occurs every time after you win a battle, its really annoying us and cant find a way to disable it :/ Still overall it gets a easy 5/5 rating.
Its simple if you have played this game before or if your like us and have some experience with this stuff the there needs to be a way to skip it good game otherwise.
Characters are gorgeous, and thankfully unlike many games they give plenty of love to male characters as well as the girls. Art in general is just lovely. Our only axe to grind with this game is how ridiculously expensive all the packages are (especially for skins alone), with little to no bargain packages ever showing up. At least theyre relatively generous with the freebies! Love them for that :)
We use iOS and after the update the game says we need to update it in the App Store even though we already updated it. Now after we open it, it still wants us to update it and then after we click update it just crashes and disappears. We’ve tried restarting our phone and reopening and we get the same issue. Please fix!!!!
Starts up and when it finishes loading says includes trial servant(s) have expired (6034)then tries to reload and we can not get past the screen you have to tap to awaken. We play everyday please fix this.
It is a great app and a great game with awesome graphics.

Its like summoner wars and raid shadow legend but with better graphics.
We have been playing since launch and we can say we have always loved this game. From its dark fantasy setting, to the beautifully rendered 3D models this game is eye candy. We appreciate how the Devs are constantly looking out for the long term health of the game and we especially enjoy how they actually listen to the community and make changes accordingly. We will admit the overall storyline is the weakest aspect of this game. It has been redone several times and Id love for them to clean it up and make something memorable out of it. The game can be a tad grindy but then again they need to give you something to do so you dont just cap out and run out of things to do/build. And yes while there are in app purchases YOU ARE NOT required to buy anything, in fact the game devs are very very generous in giving you free 5 star summon stones, karats and tons of other goodies just for logging in and doing events. We hope this game lasts a while cuz we love it!
Could be one of the best games. Constant updates with lots of content. You can advance without needing to pay. But the game is so buggy. Summon stones will disappear. You can try contacting support but it takes days for them to respond and no resolution is offered. Ill try again later and hope theyve figured out the basics.
One stared it because game keeps quitting out on us after a couple minutes of play, fix this and we will redo our rating.
The game is pretty fun in the beginning. But with the updates and more heros coming in its harder to get a specific hero u wanted. It is also rare to obtain heros in world map and other areas. It kinda forces players to play the game because some events needs you to repeat a stage for over 60-100 times and it is very stressful to wait. Only through events we can get heroes we wanted. The game overall is attracting until you get later in the game. But it does have some amazing animation and art designs. Some of the best we’ve seen.
Plenty of options to buy packs however we’ve only spent money for skins, summon rates are pretty solid, we get bat 5s pretty often and good ones too! And the content is overwhelming in a good way! Once your done with world map theres another hidden one once you unlock it, its non stop and the updates keep coming! Give it a try for sure the learning curve isnt big at all :D.
We really love this game but our only problem is we cant play anymore. The game starts to load and when you get to the "start" screen the game crashes or we get to play for a few seconds tyen it crashes. PLEASE FIX.
What a bunch of crap to change the energy and reset all the energy you had previously to do missions.
We cannot fathom what human with any semblance of intelligence or experience in developing would render the previous energy system obscure and exchanged it with only 120 energy. Way to reduce motivation of grinding and force a paywall to F2P across the board. Good think genshin impact is here making heir of light more forgotten with each passing day. Way to go dev, you really butchered this one.
One of the best F2P games up to date, just got to hope developers continue bringing content and not greedy.

The easiest way to tell if a game is going to be bad is to look at their new player event. If it terminates at any time, they’re clearly trying to rush you, into something. And they demand you have full mastery of the game from the first second, or else you can’t earn the prize. If you opened the game then closed it because you were busy, that timer starts counting down. By the time that new player even knows there was an event, the time has expired. It is a clear statement: "We don’t care about your time, and we don’t care if you have fun playing this game" -the devs.
We cant even play because the tutorial is telling us to equip lucrecia but we dont even have her! We tried reinstalling but it doing the same thing…. We really wanted to play but now it gets 1 Star :(

The graphics are amazing and the characters are very very amazing and the story line is perfect to we cant get enough of this game.

Tired of all these mobile games with never ending tutorial modes. Why would we "play" a game that is nothing but click here, read this endless monologue, 20 minutes in and still not able to do anything outside the guide. Game might be fun, we will never know because we didn’t get to a point where we could actually play.
