Chess Prime 3D is one of the best designed 3D chess games for the iPad / iPhone. It provides learning support for novice players, a real challenge for the experienced players and fun. Swipe in any of four directions to view the board from any angle and play the chess game in 3D / 2D.
Chess Prime 3D supports both ‘one player’ and ‘two player’ game play, so you can play online with your friends or with millions of players around the world, or against a challenging computer opponent with adjustable difficulty level.
Master your chess skills by solving hundreds chess puzzles. You can use hints if you get stuck.
You can even edit the board and start the game from any predefined position. That allows you to test your skills in different game phases, common positions, solve chess puzzles, etc. Also you can save your game and then re-load it anytime you want.
If you are a novice player you may take advantage of the feature that shows all legal moves for the current piece.

This app has improved our chess skills a lot! We like that you can control how hard it is on a scale of 1 to 10. We strongly recommend this game. It also has a few cool features too. 10/10.
Fun chess game nice and simple.
We only put five stars because our dad Andres Ortiz likes it.
It would be nice to see ratings for the computer mode we can beat 5 but not 6.
Started playing chess at age 10. Stopped playing after high school. This is a great tool for those who stopped playing and want a refresher course with levels and teaching included. We played with chess club members during lunch in high school, was not a member of the club, loved chess so much spent our lunch period doing just that.
We have used many chess programs. This one we believe is outstanding for a beginner, novice and experienced.
When you play the game of chess, you learn how to loose. Winning comes with practice . This game Im playing now give us the Benifit of both. A chess player knows how to loose before winning. Love the format of this game. Keep it up.
One terrific game for da times.
The overall game is great but there are two bugs we see:wen im playing the game says its our opponents turn but on their side its our turn we know how to deal with it but thats something that could improve gameplay also we know moves that would work but the game forbids our piece from moving where we know it should be able to go.

We played chess for a better part of 40 years. This is the first online game that we’ve ever purchased for our iPhone. We looked at three or four different games, splash, chess games and we found this one in 2D to be user-friendly. We give it a two thumbs up.

We are a beginner at the game of chess. We are 98 years of age. We were introduced to the game 3 months ago. We like the prompts that let you know if you are making a legal move, or what spaces a piece can if moved. Being a beginner, we really appreciate what we are learning. Thank you.
Realistic game with great puzzles.
The game is so much fun and competitive.
This game is nice in 3D the only problem it be having is glitching. Sometimes it glitches so u have to watch an make sure your time has stopped after ur turn or your time will keep going after u go. U basically have to clear out the whole app and reopen it basically a refresh.
The game interface is really good.
Although we always lose, we have fun playing this game.
It really gives you a challenge sometimes and it has everything a chess game could need.
We’ve been using this app for years and its really great. The 3-D mode really feels close to the real thing.
We love this game of chess and solved 200 chess puzzles in three days so king and queen mates, rook roller, other mates helped us with the game of chess, but we did not win because the winner is who checkmates the other king. We play often with computer (bot), or with international play as Ducky2017. Also we are good at three folds. For real, we rated seven stars. We REALLY ENJOY IT! We capture hanging pieces and use queens, only one queen.

This is the chess app youve been looking for. Just click the player vs globe symbol and make sure youre connected to the internet. Then select active game and it will prompt you to select the person you want to play chess with from your contacts. Your friend will get a notification that you want to play chess. They accept and your playing chess with your friends all over the world. Awesome!
Im a better player with this apps exercises. Highly recommend for beginners to intermediate level players.
