Bought this game on the spot because it was on sale for 99¢. Totally impressed with this game! Out beats some games we’ve paid full price for. Definitely worth checking out.

Omg we were playing this for hours before we even realized it! We love it.

We thought this game was a lot of fun. Not too difficult and when you’re stuck, or lazy, there is always the hint button.

One of the best games we have played!

Im seeing good old fashioned hidden object scenes inside the storyline & map play, etc- which is why we like it, a lot. Of course it has all the other fun stuff we dont need to repeat.

Loved this game but as graphics and story lines get more surrealistic, you have to ask for hints quite often. It was fun but none of these genre games make much sense. At least no blood and gore.

We’ve played the free portion of this game and so far its pretty good. You have morphing, which we like most, and collecting cards and puzzle pieces. The story line is interesting also. So far, no glitches.

This game kept us intrigued throughout. Loved the various games and puzzles!

Heads Up Fellow Gamers – we have a New Game that was released today in the App Store . Puppet Show: Bloody Rosie! Thank you Lynx for giving us the tip and putting together that a new release might be coming our way! Looks like, we possibly now might begin to get 2 New Releases a week! What a much needed treat this will be if it happens. Things are looking up for us avid gamers and Loyal Big Fish Supporters. We agree we Lynx, that we all need to let Big Fish know just how much we gave missed 2 New Games a week. We have contacted them many times regarding this, and we want to thank everyone else who has! Let’s show Big Fish some and quit picking apart the games that are released. As far as our review on Chimeras, we personally found it to be very enjoyable with beautiful graphics. This has always been characteristic of Elephant games. Storyline was good, along with interactive hidden object scenes, puzzles & teleporting map. It was however, too short in length even including the bonus chapter. Recommendation: Buy – Play – Enjoy! Happy Gaming everyone!!!!

A great fun game. We do enjoy each puzzle.

Two problems: 1) hint button stops working and have to reboot after each occurrence 2) when in the guide, there is no way back to game, have to go all the way out and home page icon to reopen the game. Would have given more stars. Fix please!

This game has everything we enjoy about this type of game. It would have gotten five stars but a few of the mini games had problems that made them incredibly frustrating. The rotating disc game? We tried to restart and it literally started undoing every step we had taken. Just restart!! Problems with the sliding block game also. Good length and story though and overall enjoyable.

Many aspects of this game were creative… Not just the same old stuff you see in every game. It was longer than most just like it.

We actually liked the storyline, although they do not try to hide who the killer is. Elephant always has better than average puzzles, and this is true in this game. They also make an effort at originality, such as the sign language game. We experienced no glitches. We felt the hops were better than in most games, lots of variety. The music is a nice addition. You collect a morphing musical instrument in every scene, and puzzle pieces randomly throughout the game. At the end, you can put together the puzzle pieces to receive 4 screen savers. There are 12 sin cards to collect as well. The bonus game is interesting. After finishing the bonus chapter, there is a secret room where you can replay puzzles and hops. Overall, we thought the game was fun!

Best scream we’ve ever heard, animation and vocals very good. Kind of same old story line.

We loved this game – The series just gets better. Can’t wait for the next one! Elephant comes through again. Our usual complaints are with the HOP/Puzzles; make them more challenging, complex and longer. Add a difficulty/advanced option level to each one. Bonus game: The Bird woman is atrocious-ick. We can do without the childish gremlins with their creepy smiles/sounds-double ick. ———– Love from S.F.

There are no icons on scenes showing which objects to find, I.e., puzzles pieces, etc. Moving around so much, we forget which objects we need to find. Otherwise, its a good game with many puzzles and HOPs. Interesting plot, beautiful graphics.

This is a great game, but $6.99 for the premium is a little too much.

We really enjoyed this game. Liked having that 3rd short bonus game. Just wish we could have gone bacl to find our missing Puzzle pieces as some games allow. We agree, once a week new releases is not good at all!

Beware if you are scared of or there is a scene where a mouse runs across the floor repeatedly! And an HO where two silly fancy rats with dumbo is ears sit in baskets. The items to be found are completely random; we far prefer when they make sense. How hard is that to think of? Thus losing a star. But the graphics are lovely, the cutaways are not too often or too long, and the HO and other games, though a bit repetitive, are still amusing. Many are very simple. The preview is short but the game is a decent length.

Better than most of your games.

Lots of fun puzzles along the way!

Love every games ALL of them are amazing, challenging, beautiful graphics.

Once weekly for a release bites, but our budget appreciates it however if you only have one release a week you better make sure its worth it! This sadly isnt. Elephant game but feels dated. Also VERY short! If you buy make sure its on sale. Frankly Im disappointed and dissatisfied and disgusted we deserve better!

Lynx Minx: Thank you for your concern about us. We were on vacation in Italy for the last two weeks, so we missed a few games. Hope you are doing well. This plot wholly fails to introduce any new ideas or concepts into the storyline; rather, it copies and pastes the over-used theme of people mysteriously dying from a curse. It is a shame that the superstars of this series — being the Chimeras — have been reduced to a secondary status, with trivial references to them thrown in at random. This storyline has become yet another unfortunate diversion from the original storyline in this series since its inception. The characters are sapless, lacking the emotions needed to foster an affectionate connection to them. Having said that, there are a few fine aspects in this game. This game is developed by Elephant Games, who are known for their commendable expertise in creating stellar graphics. They are visually appealing, and our eyes are frequently glaring over the many sharp and polished details. Be sure to poke around the scenes to amuse yourself with the entertaining animations that will spring to life upon touch; for example, pages will flip in an open book. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick. The imaginative gameplay makes up for the shortfall of the storyline. One particular highlight is the unique HOS in which you find items in accordance with narrative text that conveys the backstory; however, you must guess what items you need to discover. The other types consist of mixed formats. The varied puzzles, although not difficult, are creatively executed to suit the storyline. You have several sets of collectibles, which are hidden in plain sight. Pay attention to the close-ups! Overall, we are enjoying this game, mostly attributing this feeling towards the interesting gameplay. However, we do think that the gameplay offers an elementary-level challenge, which, for us, is a let down. We did experience a strange glitch during one of the puzzles. It was the one where you rotate several disks around to form a complete image. We inadvertently hit the Skip button, and the puzzle then went awry. The disks were continuously rotating around non-stop, as if the puzzle was stuck in the solution mode. We could not effectuate any response, so we had to reboot our device. When we accessed the puzzle a second time, we decided to skip it anyway; and the same debacle occurred. We rebooted again, but this time we just hit the Reset button first to see if that worked. To our dismay, one section of the puzzle rotated, even though we did not start the puzzle. Thereafter, we were able to skip the puzzle. So, if you experience any problems with this puzzle, hit the Reset button first; then the Skip button. This is why our true rating of 3.5 stars is lowered to a final rating of 3 stars. It’s not bad, though, if you do not have an alternative to play. We suggest that you give the free trial a spin.

Be aware! Even though the description doesnt say so, this is only a free trial; after playing awhile, you must pay 6.99 if you want to continue.

The game is simple in premise. The mystery is entertaining but the puzzles are hit or miss. We gave up on a puzzle after 20 mins and hit skip only to have the game itself take another 3-4 minutes of shuffling pieces to solve it itself(no exaggeration) only to have the next puzzle take less than 30 seconds to finish. A little over priced as well.

Overall, this game by Elephant is solid, however, there is no originality or events to draw us in. Here is a simple of list of positives and negatives based on the free trial Positives: Gorgeous graphics Custom Difficulty Easy story to understand Audio is good Loading between scenes is quick Negatives: Super slow pace Unoriginal story Where are the Chimeras??? Only 1 HOS that was a list Puzzles are too easy we rate this game a solid 3 stars for the reasons above. Hopefully the schedule is going back to normal. Also, ownership of Big Fish Game is switching ownership, so there may be some changes in the future.

Note to KimTwilight: Welcome back! We tripped on every bridge in Venice, Florence and Rome, but it was worth it for the food! You will love the new one from Artifex Mundi! UPDATE: Izzyoc has told us about a plethora of games due to be released. Interestingly enough, a couple are from 4 Friends and Mariaglorum, both developers of highly rated games (League of Light Series, for example). After we had suggested that BigFish look at what these two developers had to offer and we complained about how rude their response was, possibly they paid attention!? But guess what everyone? The sale price on this game expires in time for (drumroll please), MONDAY! This would not normally draw attention, but for the last few months, they have given us a week with the sale price and only one game per week on Thursday. Its too early for a Christmas sale, so should we hold out hope for a new game on Monday? Fingers crossed! Two games this week! Our gut instinct rarely fails! Thank u to all who kept complaining! Dont know if BF will keep it up but just be grateful! Lynxie says happy holidays! On to the game. It was at best average. There was nothing standout about it. You could customize settings. The storyline is one we have seen time and time again. The graphics were pretty but could have used some sharpening up. There were tons of collectibles which included morphing musical instruments, tarot cards, and puzzle pieces. We hate collectibles so we ignored them and still got most anyway. There was no cohesive journal but objectives were regularly updated. There was an excellent teleport map to transport you seamlessly to other locations. There was plenty to accomplish at each location. Inventory was labeled, interactive and there were complex items to assemble. The HO scenes were not remarkable but there was variation. Most of the mini-games were of the boring rotational genre, and we encountered the same glitch as did KimTwilight. We thought it would be a fatal flaw but was able to finally skip the puzzle. Elephant is known for excellent quality assurance but they dropped the ball on this game. The game wasnt terrible but we deducted stars for unoriginality in the storyline, the developers poor grasp of the English language, the major glitch, and the length of the game. Even with bonus adventure it was a relatively short game. In addition, we would like to experience more diverse puzzles/games and not only rotational types. Our true review will stand at 3 stars for average! Let us hope that we will get a Monday game, and if we do, please everybody start to thank BigFish and show them some appreciation. Maybe they got tired of complaints and started punishing us with 1 game per week. Lets try to remain positive! Lynxie sends a big shout-out to all reviewers who emailed BigFish, as well as to Izzyoc, Tiramisu, KimTwilight, Dracyy and Catalina, all of who have given us valuable information! You guys are irreplaceable!

Better than many recently released games. There are several puzzles to solve, which make you think, rather than just extending a monotonous task in order to extend game play time, like so many of the newer games are now doing. We were disappointed that there weren’t more hidden object games. We only played the sample game, and it had only ONE hidden object scene. When the price comes down, Ill probably buy it! Update: we bought it on sale. It’s okay, but a bit glitchy. AND, they didnt bother to proofread. That drives us crazy. Does no one care about quality anymore? Hire someone to read through the written materials before publishing! And, while you’re at it, have them try to decipher the directions on your puzzles. We gave up on a couple because we couldnt understand what we were supposed to do! We think it was probably a translation problem. We’re glad we didnt pay full price. I’d be really upset.

Started off promising but turned out to be more annoying than challenging. We finished the game on the hardest level but there is a fine line when a puzzle starts to annoy more than challenge (ice monster)

When this was ported anew, all the layers and objects have visible outlines. Not playable this way.

Graphics were really bad. Everything was boxed and cloudy.

We would enjoy the game more if it didnt have that pulsing light at the bottom of the game. It has been giving us a headache. Not fun.

We always love these games we’ve played most of them and we were looking forward to playing this one too. Unfortunately it seems there is a problem with the graphics that leave white boxes around things and half the screen sometimes turn orange. Hopefully its fixed soon so we can edit this review. Please.

This game has the worst graphics we’ve ever seen. Its hard to see what youre looking at. You have some areas blinking in your face and you cant make out what they are. The story line seems interesting, but its hard to focus with all the areas blinking at you. This game seems like it was done by a real beginner. If youre going to keep selling this game, the least you can do is make the repairs.

Ok game. But for 6.99 there should be more. Should have lasted longer.

With all the little boxes moving around and the bottom half of screen glowing white, it made game play to bilious. We stopped 10 minutes into game. Made no sense.

A lot of glitches in the graphics its hard to see a lot of the game. Please fix!!! For $7 we shouldnt have to deal with this.

We couldnt get through the free trial because of the weird flashing light covering half of every scene. The light is unnecessary and makes a potentially great game unplayable for people who have light sensitive migraines like us. It seemed like it had a good storyline and responsive controls, but the weird moving light prevented us from playing.

They clearly havent been maintaining this game. The clickables all have white squares because the game is glitched. The last one like this that we bought the full game cut to home screen after we bought the full version just for the story, so we noped out this time.

We’ve enjoyed many prior games from this developer, but this one needs work. We tried running this on our modern iPad and get rectangular artifacts of all colors and sizes across the screen. Tried restarting but got identical results. Totally unplayable!

Some of the puzzles are great. But there are too many lights that blink on and off. Very distracting.

The free version seemed like this was going to be right up there with the rest of this series. Every time we try to purchase we get a Purchase failed Try again later notice. We’ve uninstalled several times, to no avail. If we get to open the full version (before sale $ ends) Ill revise our review.

This may be a good game but we cannot play it owing to the constantly flashing squares that take up much of the screen. Hidden-object puzzles are impossible with this flashing. We can find no way to turn it off. We are using an iPad; maybe the flashing works better with another device.

There is a vert annoying pulsating rectangular light across the entire lower half of the screen throughout the game that obscures that part of the screen. Very very annoying. It ruined an otherwise ok game.
