Quickfire Rules:
A hand is made up of 10 cards. The aim is to combine cards into melds in order to achieve Gin or to have the lowest deadwood score at the end of a hand. A player wins a hand either by having Gin, or by having the lowest deadwood score when someone knocks. Face cards are worth 10 points and all other cards are worth their value.

Its pretty difficult to win a hand let alone the game when our opponent knocks or gins in two draws.
One of the better gin rummy games out today Just one thing we are not too fond of is getting cards we have discarded and the are not picked up by the AI but we still like it better Sometimes we cant believe how long we’ve played we look at the phone and its almost ready to go off we charged it when we thing of playing it lol Thats for a very relaxing and sometimes stressful waiting for our came to come we love it.
This is the classic game that we’ve all loved growing up with. No distracting cartoon figures or sound effects, just the play of the cards. Enjoy!

When you play the top level the game is rigged. The AI gets cards dealt that would never happen randomly. Very annoying, ruins the game. We recommend finding a different gin rummy game.

Im a kid in Clear Lake for a vacation with the family. We are staying in mobile homes of friends from Des Moines and Ames. There we learned to play this great game. This game plays well, but nothing will match the dialogue from 1967!
Nice and challenging but fair.
This is a fine version of the game. It has some options to play with. We wish we could organize our own melds, but we havent seen an option that lets us do that.
We like the game. We can chose levels of difficulty. Not a lot of ads.
We like all the adjustments you can make & the ability to play an AI with three levels. But the deals in many cases arent random but very predictable. Many times the card drawn from the deck will be multiples of what the AI just discarded or vice versa. Or a card that you discarded shows up again several draws later. But that being said its the best gin rummy app available.
It used to be a great game to play. Ever since the update this game is not that enjoyable anymore. It crashes a lot now. Not too happy with this game anymore.
Theres nothing but a blank screw on this game and nothing we can see to do about it. Guess its time to download something else to play.

Played another rummy app without skill levels and it stopped being fun. This one allows you to learn the game and develop some skills.
Playing on intermediate, the AI knocks within 2 or 3 draws and always ends up with a 1 or 2. Incredibly frustrating and unrealistic play.
Love this, its very relaxing. It would be nice to have different colors.
We think most of these games cheat, though from time to time they change the algorithms.

Basic gin rummy game which we like. No flashing lights, no little characters, just us and the cards. Our kind of game. So far, Im winning most of the games, and Ill see how to make it harder, but its simple and enjoyable.

We would love to play a guy that plays like this computer plays for tons of money. Will pick up 4 or 5 times and still not make a hand. We have a 91% win rate. We didnt know you could change level of play. Changed to medium for a while to see how it is. Can already tell its a lot better. Will change to hard. Thanks!

However, we dont believe that the computer simulates a real game, based on how often it gets to win a hand so quickly after a round starts. No one gets that lucky that often.

It is too easy to discard the wrong card.
… That this Gin Rummy would be better than this…. Im so disappointed. Our first full 500 point game, we critiqued by photo, but there is no photos here. This was our second 500 regular Gin Rummy game. ***It holds the cards we need, then when we discard a card because we didntt think we would get it , it tosses out the exact card we needed to meld… Maybe it needs another STAR for teasing players…. We did discover that to goOut at the first chance we got (10) because It somehow fools the AI. I appreciate the owners moving the winning score to 500 points… Makes for a better game, but… *** did you know It allows us to knock at 14?.?.?…. New rules? We like the game… We think it has a good AI, but…. Not quite honestSUPPORT ACTUALLY ANSWERS… YA get another STAR for that… Just dont fail us, Kevin!!
It is ridiculous how quick the computer wins. After 4 or 5 draws… Its over. We have been beat several times by the AI right off the bat! The AI didnt even have to draw! The initial deal was done and the computer lays its cards down immediately. Game over. Most unrealistic Gin game out there. You cant knock faster than the computer. All you can do is try to discard your high count cards ASAP to limit the damage… Hoping to underknock. Its your only hope. Ill by checking out other Gin games. This ones a bust.

The part we like best is it keeps score for me.
As games go that pit human brains against AI we cant fathom why anyone would want to play against a competitor that is deliberately dumbed down so you can win. Whats the fun in this? Furthermore how does the AI even accomplish this unless they are fixing the cards which is basically cheating. Also a player does not have free choice on how to arrange melds as the only criteria used is lowering the count of unmelded cards. As a free game with irritating ads we rate this game 3 out of five stars.
