The way you flag a bomb is horrific Can you fix it The same motion shouldnt do multiple tasks.
Fixed and thank you! Previous review: Most scoring completions arent added timely and a large number arent added at all. Please fix this! Fun retro game though. Would give 5 stars if this simple issue were fixed. Whats the point of competing against yourself or others if the score isnt tracked correctly?…
We played beginner and the flag did not come down. Tried the intermediate and the 2 had one flag and the 3 had two flags. We are deleting.
We like the game very much, but HATE the ads to the point where we will stop playing. The ads are disgusting (ways to kill mice and bugs with pictures of dead mice and bugs?!?!?). We read other comments that say even after paying for premium, there are still ads. (Premium lists no ads as a benefit) All done.
This app was GREAT until there are google ads that come up on the bottom of the screen and block part of the bottom line makes it hard to see. Fix it, please!!
Been playing this game for years. Really enjoy it not an easy win and makes you think strategically. Not sure why we havent written a review before, but is our go to game.
This game is fun & just like the ones we played on our computer for years. We like the games that are still simple, the same as when growing up. We dont enjoy the modern changes of the older games.
We dont care if the game has a small banner add along the edge, but those video adds that play between games are really annoying, especially when they dont happen every time. Ill be enjoying some peace and quiet and the a loud as fuq video add will start playing.
This hateful, useless, treasonous arse continues to invade our space with advertisements. If this continues, we wont keep playing the game. Make it stop!
You better concentrate or you’ll hit a ours . It’d be great if there were a replay option so you could replay a game where you accidentally blew it.
Certain pop up ads keep popping up and there is no way to close these ads. We have to click on the ads and try to close said ads. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesnt. One simply stupid ad then pops up over and over. The issue is that the banner cuts off about 20% of the minesweeper puzzle and we cannot see what the banner is covering. We dont feel that we should have to pay money to get the banner to stop covering the 20% of the ours field.
Almost won a game and it crashed:(
Numbers do not accurately reflect the amount of bombs a piece is touching. A "2" can have 4 bombs touching and still be a "2"
We like the game. The just redid the UI but they did not fix it so you know if you are at the upper or lower border. We sometimes think we are at a border and hit a bomb that we would have known if we knew we were NOT at the border.
Please fix the custom settings so one does not have to guess the actual numbers.
We paid the $1.99 plus $00.14 cents. Im not sure how long it takes to register that we have paid. Our bank shows that we did pay on October 15. Still getting commercials and the game wants us to pay again. If anyone has ever hit a ours on the first square played we would like to know. We have not in close to 500 games. Also at the end of most of the games lost we had to guess. The law of averages would dictate a 50/50 chance of winning. We have never won a single game under these circumstances. Simply put, this game defies math.
Having tried MANY versions of minesweeper, the common point that bothers us is the fact that they are all to slow to differentiate between flagging a ours and clearing a space. They are all to slow for us. Keep in mind that we are playing this game on an iPhone, and not a desktop with a mouse.
Exploded several mines at advanced level that should not have been there. This program is not working properly.
USED TO PLAY IT WHEN WAS A KID.
This game has been around since GWBASIC. It’s interesting in how many don’t get it. Years ago, we looked over a CEO’s shoulder, catching him play this … And have been hooked ever since. Our goto brain massage. We might only suggest; along with posted high scores, as a single use game, I’d enjoy a overall personal game average posting.
Good fun to pass the time when we need it. Non obtrusive ads which we really appreciate.
Stable and classic solid. No slipped animation, and it has quick flagging. But it needs dim/dark choler schemes.
Love the game, but what’s the point of paying for it if you still have to watch the same movie clip ad between every one or two games. We want our money back or get rid of ads for premium.

Sadly – this once great little app is currently broken, at least on iOS 8.3. There are frequently hangs of several seconds between touches on the screen and the app responding to input, which makes it unplayable in its present form.
This is a great minesweeper app that we enjoy playing very often. The zoom feature is nice and flagging is smooth. It would be great if there was an option to disable question mark.
A timeless app that knows no end.
Love the game but one problem. We know it’s iPad and it’s hard to use controls but quick flagging is hard to get into the mode and when you hold to flag if your in the car your hand slips and he ours goes off. What we’re trying to say is we don’t like how the flagging works but other than that ok. Because we play this in the car and sometimes your hand slips so your finger slips off and registers as not holding because the car hit a bump. Great though.
Good gameplay and very easy to use and figure out how to play. Brings back a lot of memories. Would give it five stars but the in app ads are fairly annoying.
Need backgrounds with better contrast on quick flag mode too.
Love playing this classic game. However, needs better contrast colour in quick flag mode. But worst of all, it constantly sticks throughout a game and often unsticks and explodes a bomb that we were trying to flag!
Love this game, just wish that we could listen to music while we play it. Also the new icon is pretty ugly….. But great app other than that.
Don’t know what you did in last update but the game has slowed down to a crawl and when you hit the last square and win, the game automatically closes.
App was great until the last update, which caused a whole second of delayed touch reaction, making the game unplayable as a touch controlled game.
Slow and won’t respond to touch properly leading to many bad results. Keeps showing squares saying 1,2,3, or 4 adjacent to bomb in spots where board is cleared and it is impossible!!! Will get rid of this. Feel deceived by it showing NO ratings when there are some. Stay away from these people.

Been using this for awhile, very well done, would like to see a retro style option, you know like the original game lol!
The game is great and fun to play. It appears there are still few bugs. There are times when we have a number block such two, but at the end of the game there is only one connecting block. Then game will not end. Like we said, still had a fun time!
Enjoyed playing the game again. At first couldn’t figure out why the puzzles weren’t as big as they said but realized they don’t fit on the screen. Had to move the puzzle to see it all. Don’t like that. Overall though its a pretty good game.

We took a screen shot of it for those of you who will think we just overlooked something, but the game had a 2 that was on,y touching one bomb which caused us to lose, game is broken!!! If it is fixed we will change our rating.

If you enjoy a game that cheats so you can never win, then this is the game for you!
Pointless to play on hard if the numbers are wrong.
