Community Insight:
It took us literally two hours to figure it out.
Enjoyable little game. Short, but impactful writing. The time rewind and forward mechanic is fun.
We love the game its five out of five stars we dont think its long enough though like the concept was very good. It was fun. The levels were challenging, but not challenging The way the game played was perfect but we feel like there should be different levels. We can do more stuff as different people who also found the clock. And the puzzle get more difficult. (:.
This game was a bit hard when we has to do the part when we rewind time and forward it, but yet you make all your games good well great.
We love all of this creators games, the first one we found was bears restaurant and it was really well made which drew us to the other ones.
We loved this game, it was so quick but it was really interesting.
Its so hard but we finally figured it out, but other than that we love it.
Thought this is a simple game, it speaks wonders about human nature. We appreciate that approach to the sensitive topics in this game and turning it into an easier to understand idea for any age :) Im not religious but overall liked the message.
We love it so much! But we want the game to be a little longer.
In one word is greaaaaaaaaaaat and amaaaaaaaaazing too Your work is perfect our boy.
We dont see many rpg pixel games on phones so this was a delight.
Its very short but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the message.
This is story is sad but inspiring.
We really want to see if he redeemed himself or go back his past and try to get to gather with that girl and get a good happy ending for the both of them.
The game mechanics of rewinding time are really interesting and fun to play with, but the game itself is really short, we beat both episodes in less than 20min. However our biggest complaint is the story, the point of the game is you're trying to go back in time and stop yourself from killing a woman which your character has been stalking, and it just feels a little creepy at times. Also the ending is too ambiguous for our taste.
The story is too short and is not even meaningful. You wasted our time.
We just started playing through tall these Dev's games & we gotta say they have pretty good storylines & can definitely stump you a little. We like em! Worth supporting, hope to see more.
We absolutely LOVE your games!! Please make more. Ive probably played all the games you made thats like this and we loved every second of them! Keep up the good work.
We love this game but we need to have more lives on tropical islands and on race tracks as things people and animals! It would be so cool :).
We love this! Its well made, it shows a good story, is cute and sweet, we usually dislike pixel games, but this is really good! We love how you could buy the second story for cheap, and if 1 dollar is too expensive you can watch ads! 10/10 amazing, thank you.
Ives never watched 20 adds for a game before. We dont even know what to say because everything about this game and this creator is worth it. Thank you for doing all of this. :).
But this is definitely a puzzle worth figuring out! Not many games challenge you to do nothing when faced with saving a life. And thats part of this games genius! Sometimes in order to proceed correctly, you have to ignore all your glowing options and just… Let things be. And that proves to be the hardest thing to do in the post-Half Life age. In a world where you are always manipulating SOMETHING in order to solve a puzzle. Will you be able to solve it.
We truly enjoyed the game but it was so short. We were really getting into it so we paid the .99 to remove the ads. Only to realize we had basically finished it.
We cant watch the 20 ads to play the sequel. Ads dont work in any of your games. (we have good wifi and have had this app for six months) update.
(((Spoilers for Bears Restaurant))) In Bears Restaurant, the file on the guy in this game (Kazuya) said that he had no remorse for what he had done, and because of that, he was sent to the deepest part of hell: Nihility. This game, however, paints a very different picture of this man. Not only does he have regrets for what he has done, but going back in time resulted in him choosing to murder himself before killing that woman. On top of that, he had some sort of mental abnormality that resulted in his skewed perception of relationships/empathy. Im confused as to why he was sent to nihility (where his soul would be destroyed and unable to re-enter the reincarnation cycle) while the nurse who murdered far more (albeit for questionable/debatable reasoning) was sent back into the reincarnation cycle. And on top of that, in Bears Restaurant, he WAS murdered by the man outside (unlike in the good ending in this game), and Kazuya didnt understand why he was killed. In CoA, he DOES understand why he was killed and hopes that being murdered will help him atone for his sins. He talks about making up for what hes done throughout the entire game and holds onto that through his entire prison sentence, but hes like a completely different person in Bears Restaurant. We dont understand why this is. Which game is true to this Kazuyas timeline and character.
We love devs games but they are very short.
Dont get us wrong, we like odd. This is a very short game but was worth it IMO. We even bought the bonus chapter after the end. Its a clever premise that could really be developed into an interesting game coming from a clever writer. We hope there are more games like this.
Although very short (understandable as it is an indie game) the concept, the visuals and the storyline are awesome!!!! We loved playing this we just wish it was longer! Totally gonna look into other games by the devs.
Ive always been a fan of games like this. The puzzles, the story.. Everything about it was amazing. As someone who doesnt have money to spend on games, we really appreciate the fact that there was a way to play the bonus episode without having to pay for it. If youre reading this, you need to play this game.
Came across this designers games in the App Store and decided to give them a shot based on the 16 bit aesthetic and great reviews. Im going with the free, ad-driven versions because the games (at least this one) are really quick playthroughs and the short advertisements that are infrequently sprinkled throughout the game arent too intrusive. Theres not a whole lot to the gameplay here, really just some puzzle solving and choose your own adventure type stuff. But we found the whole thing rather compelling in its depiction of redemption and the lack thereof. Not a classic or anything but a nice little introduction to this gaming world. Im looking forward to Bears Restaurant next.
We l o v e your g a m e s, the music, the story, the decisions! All of it! (we really love Bears restaurant its so soothing yet sad, but also loving and we legit c r we e d).
Ok so we have played all of your games and we loved them! They are awesome! Please make more! We have played all the extra levels and we dont know what to play anymore! Please please PLEASE make more story games thx. Btw our favorite game was bears restaurant love the storyline and the bright artstyle.
Great game its a great game where a guy slowly finds that hes terrible we played this after BearsResto there both great games.
When it said we can unlock the next episode for free it said we have to watch 14 episodes for free and it didnt work for some reason we mean we did have internet.
You only get a very short amount of time to play the game then youre forced to either watch 20 ads or pay 1$ to progress. Waste of time.
Games we have found made by daigo have been quite interesting as well as entertaining.
Another master piece. We could go on about how we love this game, but we wouldn't want to spoil the experience for anyone. All we would like to say is, although very minimalist in design (we know sprites take time to make we appreciate that), the game delivers very well. Unlike Bears restaurant there is a way to access the 2nd episode by watching ads. We suggested this before and appreciate to see it put within this game (Even though we know we wasnt the reason it was added).
We wish we could get the next episode free its a great game excluding the adds 20 to be exact to get the other free.
We absolutely adore all of these games. Most of them had made us cry. Please make more levels or more games. Theyre dark stories but theyre so amazing and they have such amazing outcomes. These are the types of stories we write. We love seeing these come to life. These are definitely underrated.
Simple and fun. We really enjoyed the story of this game despite being short.
We have just finished this game after playing Bears restaurant , Bluebird of Happiness, and Town of Tides. All of these games are the BEST game son the App Store. There is so much we love about these games, but if we had to pick, we think that the best part of these games are Diagos vision of God and his role in life. As a Catholic, we think it is really cool that the message of this game is that all sins, no matter how grave they can be, can be forgiven with God (God being the Clock of Atonement) we also like how there is an alternative to paying for the ending, which was similar to Bears restaurant (we spent 2 days feeding that stupid cat!) Anyways we think that all of Daigos games are worth trying out, because they all have a great, unforgettable story.
Hey it was shorter than we expected & a little harder than the other games.
We really loved this game. It shows how horrible you can be without meaning to even if you are a good person. Life and love can be cruel, but if you move past it you might find friendship. Thank you for another great creation, Daigo.
Im so confused with what Im supposed to do to save the womans life. We cant figure out how to finish the game but otherwise its a good game.
Uh…we would say its a good game but it seems as if we cant proceed. After an ad pops up it wont let us do anything.
We hope you do a sequel it was fun.
But short. Had a grim plot but that made it really interesting and made decisions you make really impact the story and you could see how your actions affect it in a small way. Larger stories like this allow multiple actions to still get the proper ending or one of many proper endings which we usually hate but in this case there is only one ending which we love.
This game was really more about seeing all opportunities through rather than an actual puzzle-solving mystery. Despite this, its a pretty good game. Like Bluebird of Happiness, the hints (cat mascot) are still the same: watch an ad, get a hint. We dont know about pop up ads as we didnt seem to encounter anything but turn on Airplane Mode so it wont slow down the game. Otherwise, the game was rather enjoyable.
Very confused right now but Im used to this.
