Lots of fun and relatively easy to get the hang of the basics.
Very realistic and good game. It would be better if you made it easier to win without having to spend money.
We think the game has made many improvments so far from what we seen the only thing the game need are more leagues/countries.
We love this game we have played both 18 and 19 but one thing we would like is to be able to manage a national team and play in national competitions we would love for that to happen.
We love the game… And also very addictive… So please not for those writing exams…

All around good game if you have the time to learn it.
Started this game and thought we would just take a Premier League side to fame and fortune. Got sacked at the end of the first season. Took a team just trying to avoid relegation in the second tier of Turkish football. Finished upper mid table and the following year, we were promoted to Lig 1. Got a lot of job offers from teams in The Championship, Premier and Bundesliga. Decided to stick out this season with our minnow. So far, our club is performing higher than the boards expectations and enjoying this game much more. Our advice: give yourself a couple seasons to figure out the mechanics and watch those adverts! No need to buy coins if you can be patient!
Really good game it gets interesting as the season goes by. Itll be pretty cool if more action or graphics can come with it. And we also noticed in the data packs that a lot of young players are missing. Marco Reus & Pulisic are missing, Arthur from Barcelona too.
Love the game. Reminds us of the old Championship manager games we used to play back when football manager games didnt actually feel like a job. One tweak we would make is to the way a game auto-plays (seemingly always resulting in a loss) if the app crashes once youve started a game.

This game compares great to football manager being that its free with the choice to boost your career freely lately we have been running into game glitches and getting frustrated with the board not increasing funds more after a good season we only get 800 more in wage budget but we need to increase both staff and squad rating plus win promotion to keep them happy and then when you finally save 25000 coins you only get 1,200 wage so maybe 2 more players or staff and that isnt enough to make everything happen also can we get some clean up on information, like position on table in game while Im watching the game.
Very entertaining game with a great interface. Its easy to understand but hard to master which is always fun! The downsides: coins are unrealistic. Too difficult to earn and too expensive to buy for what you would be getting. Also, the game can change too quickly. You may be doing great during a season, then suddenly, someone has bought out your team and all of your balances are in the negatives and you will be fired at the end of the year no matter what. Its disheartening to try to build up a stadium and raise investments to bring people into a city, only for a change of board and unavoidable firing.
The only problem is they make the game super hard if you dont invest no money in it that is their only problem.
Fun to play but the game is made very difficult to compete without spending real money on coins. Some examples below… Contracts: An 80 rated player will cost you around $100,000 per week but for other clubs that same player will only cost $10,000 per week. (Even if the other club is less prestigious) Loan Deals: If you want to loan-out one of your players, you will more than likely have to split his wages 60-40. This is pretty realistic. BUT if you want to loan-in a player itll typically cost you at least 100%-200% of his wages which is grossly unrealistic and obviously a ploy to blow your wage budget and make you buy coins. Promotion: Youre not allocated enough money upon promotion to create a competitive team, regardless of the tear youre promoting to. Your club can make tens of millions by earning promotion to the premier league but you will be left with a wage budget under $1,000,000 per week even if youve managed to stay up a few seasons. Best game we’ve ever played on a phone but its ruined because of how much of a disadvantage you’re at by not spending real money. And dont tell us to be patient because we’ve played a lot of seasons haha.
Its a pretty good game overall. But: Sometimes you cant take on a one year role option because: its not there! Very frustrating. Second the transfers: Very unrealistic prices such as: 22 Million Pounds for Ndombele. Really?!?! Lyon currently value him at almost 100 million pounds in real life today. Thats an 80 million difference. And selling. No one wants to buy your players! Seriously! You add them to the transfer list at a ridiculously low price (like 15 million for wanyama) but no one buys! Are you kidding! However most of the other aspects of the game are generally positive. Yay! Overall rating: 3/5 Census: Could be better. Like really better.
This game is acually decent but if this game had a career mode where you can be a player and all we swear to god imma love this game and never delete it and a lot of people should feel the same way PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A CARRER MODE SO we CAN ACUALLY LOVE A PHONE SOCCER GAME (all the soccer games are manager related) we hope this is considered and we with so much hope this happends.
Wages need to be fixed. No matter how much money we make, and no matter how many times we request extra wage funds, it caps at around a million for our top flight club. It is impossible to compete with other PL teams who have twice, sometimes three times the budget we have, even though we have made $100 million in our couple seasons. The game is unplayable until then, as our top players all leave when their contracts are up and same with our staff.

We love the game but it not free you have to pay to a lot of thing.
The only way to win games in to pay for coins.
Only problem is with the new update everytime we try to log in or register it keeps crashing and when you get back on it and try to load the cloud save it doesnt, it just gets stuck at saying loading.
Game overall is really good. There are some places for improvement but the pay to win aspect is what pushed us off of this game. In order to upgrade stadiums and get bigger budgets you have to spend real money. One example is the cost to cut contacts and upgrade stadiums is not balanced with the budget within the game. If you want to be successful you have to pay real money. Unfortunate for a game with great potential. If they find a better balance with the money so you can grind and be successful we will come back to the game.
Pretty decent game. Play on iPad, fun experience but to much incentive for pay to win play and just to many crazy random variables. Had a game where we’ve had 3 people straight red carded in a matter of 5 minutes. Have had games where our 70 overall team goes up against a 40 and we get smash 5-0, really just kills the want to come back to this game.
Im very glad we’ve found this game. We’ve played one season so far and enjoyed it a lot, but unfortunately, our game froze (June 7, 2019) while advancing the calendar and no matter what we tried, we could not get it to continue, so we guess Im starting over now. In our opinion the menus could definitely be improved. For example, if you click that you want to talk with the board, but you dont like the options, you cant back out and end the conversation. You just have to pick an option and go through with it even if you dont want to. Also the mail tab is a bit annoying to navigate. Also there is only one save slot, so we can only play one career at a time, which is a bit annoying. Other than those issues, its a great game! Hopefully we can get past the first season in our next save.
It is as realistic as a game can be, sad part is the only way to stay in high level clubs and sign top players is to spend money to get badges.
This is AMAZING! Finally, portrait mode. And branch new features. Best game app we’ve ever played. The amount of detail in this new update is fantastic. Can you guys create games with this engine for other sports? We would love to manage NBA, MLB, NFL, and College sports teams in this exact framework.
With the last update we cant keep the coins every time you restart your career soft start or the other one the coins drop again to 15000 even if you reach like 50000. This is annoying . It seem to be that even for stadium advertising its only for one season after that you must give again your precious coins. We dont think that should be the case . We hope that to be corrected.

We play this on our iPad so the experience has been top class for us. Everything about the management experience is what you can ask for. We own a sports agency myself and this is about as similar to the business as you can get. But there is one major issue with the game and that is the forcing of spending money too frequently. We understand you have to make an income so having paid and upgrade options are feasible but forcing team owners to pay for coaching badges and stadium upgrades without giving them a chance to earn them is the problem. As team owners we should be able to use team profits to fund development of stadiums. That would allow us greater control of the financial aspect of the club and make us accountable for when and how we should spend our capital. Also if we successfully navigate to a league title or promotion that should come with the opportunity to earn a coaching badge.
The game is good and we would give a 4 and a half stars but there are a lot of problems with this game. Heres our wishlist for the next update or when Club Soccer Director 2020 comes out. 1. Please take off coaching badge because we dont want to waste our money 2. Upper teams like Leeds should run over teams like Exeter City 3. Complacency can make you lose 4. Train staff rating yourself 5. For it to let us buy players without it saying you have too much players on the roster. It says the max is 28 and we have 27! If you fix this by next year,or update,Ill give you a 5-star Sincerely,Jonas.
This game does not have a mistake but the licenses are not free and that is DISGUSTING. Absolutely perfect outside of that.
We absolutely love this game we Mt really give you the specifics of being a club manager. Theres a slight glitch Im in July 2028 season and theres a glitch either meeting with the board. We pushed the button to meet with them and it shows up with the board member but doesnt go away.
Not much here. Gameplay is okay, but too much on the screen at once, which makes for tiny text. We enjoy games like this where you can start at a small club and work your way to bigger clubs. Unfortunately, this just doesnt do it. There seems to be no way to gain knowledge or become higher sought after unless you spend money to buy badges. Definitely not worth it.
We spent over 20$ on the 2018 game. It costs another 20$ to Actually get anywhere in the game. No other way to increase knowledge. Also wont let you restore purchase.
Im really enjoy the game until v1.0.6, the game keep freezing in our iPhone.
We played CSD 2018 endlessly and we really enjoyed it other than the whole coin and insufficient funds situation. The setup was easy and simple. Hassle free. We really dont like this new version, it is simply just too much. It is made for a tablet, and we have to squint to make out the numbers. Too many irrelevant extras have been thrown in and we really dont enjoy it… We think Im going to stick with CSD 2018. Im really disappointed at this because we have been waiting on the edge of our seat for the new one to come out and it did not impress.
