Community Insight:

We played the coffee golf game and started playing this. It is fun and relaxing.

If you get the timer and want to get rid of it, create an account to save your progress, delete the app, reinstall it, then sign in and the timer was gone. Very relaxing game we love it.

Loving it so far! Hoping for a vs mode in the future.

Great simplistic pool game. Love the visuals. Its on theme with the Coffee Golf which we also love. Please give the option for a relaxed or chill mode without a timer. It would make it more enjoyable for those times when you dont want to be rushed.

We love this game but we wish it was more like coffee golf where you can play at your own pace, its supposed to be relaxing, but it just stresses us out more.

Overall has a lot of potential. Im a Coffee Golf user but an irl pool player so we figured Id try it out. Shot timer is too fast, especially when half of the time its going down while the game is still moving our screen.

The premise behind the game serves for a fun, daily type of game loop. However, the 5 second shot timer for every round is just an awful idea. Like who thought that was a smart idea for a game thats supposed to be played casually with a cup of coffee?? Other than that, its aight.

The game starts out easy enough, and like any game progressively gets more difficult. The issue we have with it is the shot timer. 5 seconds to quickly line up shots makes you hurry up and miss half the time, leaving little to no time to strategize about your next shot. If the timer runs out, you lose one of your shots as a penalty. It's a TERRIBLE mechanic to an otherwise enjoyable game.

We loved the game until it started getting to the timed shots (you have a few seconds to get your ball lined up and shoot). We feel like the timer is way too fast and takes the relaxing aspect out of the game. Unfortunately, Im going to have to delete because the timer makes us so stressed out and its literally on every single round after you get it. But it was fun while it lasted.

Game is fun, but the shot timer ruins it. Theres barely enough time to spin the camera and line up a shot in the few seconds allotted. Pool is a game of precision, just lose the timer and let us line up a proper shot.

Had fun w this game and was playing w our son. Then they introduced the like four second timer on top of already hard challenges. And the timer is just present on every level. Was relaxing and fun, now stressful and anti fun.

This game was amazing, a fun, relaxing game with silly challenges here and there. When we got to league 19, they added this shot clock where you only have around 4 or 5 seconds to make each shot, and youre penalized if you dont do so. This completely ruins the vibe of the game, and makes it rather stressful for the calming game its supposed to be. We will not be playing anymore until they remove this feature.

Ive been playing this since day one advertised from their other game coffee golf. Recently they added achievements and one of them is basically impossible to get top 1% in the daily break. Our best is top 5% only once ever. And theyre asking you to achieve this feat 2,500 times for the top trophy. This is coming from someone in league 97.

Great game. Definitely near the top in billiards games. The ads however, are infuriating. Theyre difficult to close out, and its almost easier to just close out the game and reopen it at times. $8 to remove ads is a little insane, but we feel like they make the ads so obnoxious that some people are willing to pay it to avoid that. 5 stars for the game, but 3 because of the frequency and obnoxiousness of the ads.

The game itself is a fun twist on pool. Id love to see a bit more diversity in terms of obstacles and challenges as they get a bit repetitive. The ads, however, are wild. We decided to stop playing because they kept getting more adult in their content. $8 is a bit steep for no ads imo, so Ill look for another game instead.

Game was really fun. Then we started to get an ad after every round and it made it very unenjoyable.

Really good casual solo pool. They have a lot of fun obstacles and modifications to keep things interesting. Love it.

Love this game. Playing every day.

Says gold ball must be putted gold ball gets putted (foul gold ball must be putted) This is some wacky imagery land of a game.

We love this game this is one of best game and its so relaxing and calm to play it.

Love this game, very good and we always find playing it in our free time but we do have some concerns on why there isnt any spin, since its would be a good function even as a power up, or pvp mode since it would be fun to play against people in such a fun game. But other than that this is one of the most fun on the go games ive played, will continue grinding this.

We have been addicted to this game since it released and am on league 46 but we have found ourselves mixing up the yellow and green balls on some of the levels. A darker green would fix the issue. The green color above the pocket is way darker than on the ball.

This game would get 5 stars if it werent for a 30 second ad after every single level. It takes max 1 minute to complete a round. Then you spend the next 30seconds getting through an ad. By league 10 they state youre ahead of 84% of players. We are convinced its because in those 50 levels youve spent 50ish minutes playing the game and 25 minutes watching ads.

Big fan of Coffee Golf and this hits all of the same notes. Onto league 46 now! Only suggestion would be to add a redo button as it may take us a bunch of attempts on a round.

We love that this game is so relaxing and simple. It also is a beautiful game.

Everything in the game is very unique for a pool game and Ive been enjoying it quite a lot. Only reason Im giving it four stars is because theres not a lot of different options in terms of abilities and purchasing them. So far the only way to buy the abilities is the starter pack which costs money. It would be great to be able to purchase the upgrades with coins. And also buy different abilities where maybe you can only choose three to bring in.

Please reduce no add purchase to $4.99 and Ill buy it.

Great start! Much Like Coffee Golf, this game is easy to get into. But, theres room for growth. Obviously, a standalone freeplay mode with standard rules would be great. Maybe some ambient music? Also, this game is a good idea on the iPad, but we think it would work better suited in Landscape mode (Maybe it could work on the phone, too?) Anyways, those are our initial thoughts. Love the game and look forward to updates! We're sure cue customization is in the works.

Really enjoy the game just like Coffee Golf however you need to allow players to buy additional modifiers with coins (similar to golf).

Games pretty fun and enjoyable, definitely needs some tweaks and from our experience in league 7 we would like there to be more options regarding IGCs, the coins feel pretty useless and not worth grinding. Id also really like to see an invert contrast or colorblind mode due to the red/green balls + holes tend to trip us up as someone with Deuteranopia. Overall games feel good though.

Its an awesome game the daily levels and its very well made but what would be cool is if it had skins for maybe the table or maybe like different ball sets other than that though its a pretty fun game.

We want to give this 5 stars, but we cant as if you can get past a level, you basically cant play for the rest of the day. The Golden Shot level always stops us and we usually reach it within 5 boards. For people who pay the $8 for ad free, we wish the developers would add in a random mode that gives no rewards just so that paying customers can always play offline.

The game itself is well crafted and enjoyable to play. The ads however are difficult to bypass or even close at times which often makes us close the game to get past them. (Also $8 to remove the ads seems a little high.) we like the game so Ill keep it in hopes they fix the ads otherwise Ill just stick with their other games which we definitely recommend.

As a daily player of Coffee Golf, this was a fun addition to our small collection of daily games. Its simple on the surface but has a nice variety of challenges. We quickly purchased the IAP to remove ads when it became available, in large part because we want to support the developers, but also because we disliked the ads. Unfortunately, the ads are still happening. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling the game, restarting our iPhone, and Ive tapped the Restore Purchases button dozens of times to no avail. We do have a receipt from Apple/App Store confirming the IAP and the option to purchase this IAP is gone from the app. But the ads are still happening. We emailed Shallot support about this on August 24 and have yet to hear back as of September 2. We really want to support this developer, but its harder to do so when the purpose of the IAP isnt fulfilled and their support email address, as found when tapping the App Support button/link on this App Store listing, isnt leading to a response. We figured Coffee Pool – Remove Ads issue was a succinct but clear enough subject line. If we had known this would be such an issue, we probably wouldve just avoided the purchase altogether. Super disappointed at the moment.

We believe that this game is actually pretty good, we do wish it could be played horizontally for instance on an iPad as well as vertically.

This game is more frustrating than it is fun after the first few levels. The camera angle cannot be adjusted and it makes it unnecessarily difficult to line up longer shots. This combined with the modifier gimmicks the game uses makes for a frustrating experience, which could be avoided if the player was able to change the camera angle.

We were really enjoying this game, so much so that we paid the 7.99 for ad free. Since paying $$$, the game has gotten so hard with levels impossible to achieve without buying ridiculously priced helps. We really feel ripped off.

Edited our review thanks to dev response – found the option! Pretty good game at launch. We know these devs will make solid improvements and add game modes.

Great game. Same company who made Coffee Golf. This is just as fun.

Enjoyable pool puzzle game but we would suggest a more specific leaderboard and more options for the in game currency! Great pass time and would recommend.

Good game definitely addicting when u got no wifi at school or ur bored, needs some kinda music tho to make it better.

Enjoying the strategy and skill in playing virtual pool.

A nice and simple start & play format with relaxing optics – similar to other Shallot Coffee Games. We play Coffee Golf and was not sure if this would be the same play, different visual field. We were pleasantly surprised! We never really played pool and found this game has us focusing and learning about angling for direct and banking shots. The provided guidelines are a wonderful teacher! Loving the simplicity of these games – perfect for quick brain breaks in our day.
