Defending armies can now retreat inside forts to join up with the garrisons if there is nowhere else to flee to.
Attackers can now be more effective when attacking forts with greater numbers.
Forts can now defend fire on attacking guns. Armies with only guns can bombard forts.
Easier to befriend a warring enemy who has a -3 friendship rating or better.

Just wanted to say that we’ve been playing all of your games, and theyre great! The only games we play on our phone!
We tried to do this, but it was so hard in this game is like really hard to play. Can you like this it to be like an easy mode Or a hard mode for people.
This is a good game we have had a lot of fun with, ads are minimal and its great, but lately when you attack a small village and dont take it over all the sudden that province has 10-20k more troops than it just had, and they can start attacking you mercilessly. Its bad because you can be close to winning and ALL the sudden the little guy gains thousands and thousands more troops than they had before you attacked. Makes no sense. Its frustrating, because you spend a lot of time on the campaign only to basically have NPC cheat the system and you have to start all over again.
Id like to add on to our old review, and say that we love the Physics of the game, and Id like to ask if you could add Portugal (for more colonial powers), or we think it would be cool, if you could add something similar to rebellions, but even if these dont make it into the game, Id like to thank you for making this game, as a history nerd it gives us a game to enjoy on a mainly popular culture App Store. Thank you for your hard work!
Best game about the 1800s in the world. Honestly we think we this is one of the best war games on mobile.

We read some of the comments before getting the game and a few had us worried but we downloaded it and honestly this game is awesome. There are games that are funded by big companies that are worse than this game we genuinely enjoy it. 10/10.
We want to buy the ad free version but 7$ is a lot, Id pay that if a few more free for all scenarios were added. Love this game tho! Would like to see a WW1 maybe even a Cold War game with Vietnam and bay of pigs. That would be dope, Im excited for the new medieval game!

We really liked this game, it let you play as anyone in this time period, we wanna do everything in this game like rebuilding the Qing dynasty, and build an asian confederacy as japan.
The game is great the only problem is that we cant play more than one game at the same time or play multiplayer, but besides that we love it.

Just one thing please add more content we played your other games but the reason we like this one the best is how its played and because of the world maps which we love. We hope you add more world maps atleast great game.
An amazing game, hence five stars. But. But Id love more global maps with maybe some more options. An African campaign. A European campaign. Pick which nations start on map. Start matches with certain alliances. Be able to alter starting force sizes. Etc. Keep it interesting type thing. We’ve played free for all with every nation (and won more than not). And Im starting to lose interest in the game at this point. But still. One super amazing and addicting game!

This game and the other 2 are both great!! But it would be awesome if you had a game set in modern times!
Its a very good game. Its just complicated enough to be interesting and fun while not have a very steep learning curve. We read one review that suggested giving nations unique units. That would be great but the developer said they would not have time to design that. As an alternative, we suggest to give each nation a few global traits. Example, England could have a 10% bonus to naval stats and/or a 10% bonus to trade income. France could have 10% bonus to the stats or artillery and forts. We think this would give each nation a slightly more unique play while not having devote too much time to developing.
When you play as the United States (Union) and your fighting the south your mostly likely to lose since the continent is littered with rivers but the south is able to take a province when attacking over a river like the river doesnt affect them and also the north should be in a more richer area since they had factories but we try but best to deal with it but when your just trying to conquer North America in 1861 thats is the main problem.
This game has to be our favorite its the type of game we’ve been searching for our whole life! Its perfect! Highly recommend.

Would love to see a game with same mechanics but in ancient times.
We wanted to write this review not only saying that we love this game and its mechanics we just got curious if you guys are working on another game to add to your franchise? We only have a few issues with some things like that some nations like later on into the game will turn on you no matter what happens and that if your Allies with a nation theyll break the alliance after 1-3 turns but overall on our favorite out of the franchise.
This game is the best. Its easy enough to enjoy rather than most games where it is much more difficult. The concept is great. Please make your other games easier and simpler to use for the average user. You will have more people creating the game that way.
Great game, really fun for casuals like myself. A little clunky at first in terms of mechanics but once you catch on its great fun.

This is by far one of, if not the best mobile game we have played. This game reminds us of a combination of risk with the Total War series. Its a good combination of management and strategy. Its a challenging game at first until you begin to develop your strategies and plans. This game prompted us to post our first review just because we want others on the fence to experience how awesome this game is.

We love this game as well as the other three. Had a glitch one time and the developer fixed it and responded. Highly recommend all of their games.
Great Game but it has a couple flaws first we only have a couple maps suggestion for the company itself make a game about the future modern day or World War we you already have colonization in World War II wheres World War we to fill in the gaps anyways make Cavalry more useful oh yeah thats all good day mate yes Im not from England.
We have played this game a ton so we thought Id write a review. It is a lot of fun and easy to learn. The tutorials are helpful. This is the best strategy game we’ve played on mobile. It can be a little too easy for china to win a match in the world domination games but it doesnt take away from how fun the game is.
We have a lot of fun playing this in our free time. Our favorite are the ones with the whole map because there is a lot of variety.
This is a great game! Its just as fun as risk. However, we would like an option to skip all animations and only show battle reports. This would save a lot of time.
Wonderful game thats fun to play. Incredible job done just by 1 developer. Highly recommend for a game to pass the time. Incredible that its such high quality and free. Just one tip – towards the end of a game it gets very hard to progress when all the cities have fortresses and even much larger armies have such a hard time taking them over. Also we were unable to understand how to help innovation happen faster. As we saw universities randomly appear and you cannot build them. This was not ideal. But these are just minor tips. Otherwise amazing job. 5/5 stars!
For you have a god mode or custom mode?
A friend introduced us to this game and after we played it for a while we downloaded the devs other games and they were all just as awesome, best strategy games we have ever played.
We need to play as Texas and we cant, this is clearly a massive oversight.
We are sadly a military expert and this game is by far the most realistic one out their even more so than conflict of nations u get a great feeling after defeating everyone in world wide map our only recommendation to the developers is to let us watch adds for coins.
This is a great game, extremely addicting. We played this nonstop for weeks.
The tutorial is a bit hard to understand, theres a game called World Conqueror 4 that has a really good tutorial system that we think this game could use. Also just more modes, we cant get enough.
We love the game, almost a mobile Victoria, please add rebellions and nation formation please. (I.e. If Britain conquers all of France, theres a chance that the french come back, and if Prussia takes over traditional Germany its flag and leader changes, and maybe it gets some sort of boost.)
We love your games but we think you should make a Roman version of this games where there is a free for all when Rome is founded and you can write your own version of Roman history.
This is a wonderful game. We really enjoyed it we beat every single level. Now that we have we figured we would try out this developers other games and while they are good we feel like World at War is too complicated this game CAW is simpler but still hard in a sense. We wish your other games were like this or at least add on some more levels too it. Granted there are still some things to improve with this one. Like we feel like you should have more interaction with the enemys. Or they would all at least have their own unique personality to them that makes each level more difficult and unique. Thats our 2 cents. Besides that this is a great game you should definitely make more like it. Or improve this game.
Looks good but we spent a lot of time completing a level and it said we had not completed it. This happened a few times too, but its still a pretty good game overall.
Its a very fun game and it makes you actually have to use strategy in order to win. There are a few misspellings here and there and a couple rough edges but overall its the perfect strategy game we were looking for.
Really frustrating trying to merge our armies we have to leave them because it never works. The nations you can choose from are nice but when you have land your going for that is surrounded by your territory your allys shouldnt just be able to take it just ask diplomatically or something.
We love this game and the ads are only 5 seconds long just with the bigger maps sometimes when you end your turn it takes awhile for you to play again.
Overall the game is good. One main thing in the game that isnt good is the bombardment of ads. Every time you end a turn it shows an ad.
