OPTIONS

Excellent game. Very challenging especially towards the end of each level. We start with 1 at each level, then 2and continue until we have finished all of the levels.
We like this version with color tiles better than the puzzles with numbers. It uses the other side of the brain which just seems to make it more relaxing. Only thing we would improve is a little more color separation between the dark green and light green tiles; it is sometimes hard to tell them apart. Nonetheless, we find ourselves playing this game a lot just for relaxation.
Playing sudoku with colors has been an awesome change to the regular version. We havent gone back to playing with numbers since we downloaded this app. No ads . Just problem solving . We like to beat our own score and that keeps us motivated . App has never hung on us unlike so many others . We agree with some other reviewers that some new color palettes should be introduced but thats not a necessity.. Just a nice feature to have . Go ahead , download it , you wont regret it.

It is the most wonderful thing to be able to play Sudoku with colors instead of numbers. We find it much more relaxing. We play it everyday.
Love it. Color is a different vibe that we find relaxing, we chose the first color palette in the preview. Expert level is easier than numbers at the same level.
Hi, we love this Sudoku game. We wish there were more color palettes to choose from. Color invigorates and changes ones mood. Thats why we love it. Some of the palettes are pretty when in the menu, but do not work at all when playing the game. Monochromatic palettes in particular are very hard to use because the colors are too like each other. We encourage exploration into more palettes with colors from nature that are very different from each other. Torin Judd.
We bought this app back when we had an iPod Touch in high school. 10 years later, this is the only game we currently have installed on our iPhone. It has been with us that whole time. Other apps came and went, but this one endured.
Have had this app as long as Ive had a cell phone… And still use it regularly. Glad they havent changed it… Because you cant improve upon perfect.
We love this game. The Easy level is a heck o a challenge until you get used to colors instead of numbers.

We find it grounding and great for focus. It isn't loud or littered with current ad garbage. A simple, true, easy to follow gameplay. :) Please update it so it works with the new OS.
Great game! We love Sudoku so this is a great option. Same concept, but using colors. Challenges your brain in a different way. We're a very visual person so using colors is a very satisfying to us. So glad we found this game.

5 Stars for the iPhone version- the iPad version has a yellow grid and it is hard to discern where the boxes are grouped. IPhone version is perfect in every way.

We agree with reviewer Amy Bloch that it was a mistake to make the purple so much like the light blue. The thing that's even worse about this update, though, is the off-by-one error that shoves the squares for the notes out of their boxes to the right. Won't you PLEASE fix this? Please? Beyond this, we love this app. It's a peaceful way to spend minutes, and the range from easy to expert means it can entertain both our 5-year-old friend (especially after she found the All Notes button) and her math genius papa.
Playing with different color palates instead of numbers really keeps the game fresh.
After many years of standard 1-9 Sudoku we tried this color version-blew us away! Love it.
This app offers different levels for solving. The color recognition is fun and works the same as the numbers in the traditional Sudoku games.

Excellent program. One thing we would like is to have the screen that says you won show what level you just beat. We cycle through the difficulties, and then forget what level we just finished. Certainly not a big problem, but it would be nice.

This is a nice variation on traditional Sudoku. Lots of fun. Easy to quite challenging levels. Love it.
We love this game; it's very handy for whenever we need a quick break in our day. And it's somewhat simpler than regular numeric Sudoku; it's more pleasing to the eye. We very much enjoy playing it. :).
Our morning brain exercise – easy to expert lets you pick the challenge level.
On our iPad Sudoko plays only on the portrait mode. Our iPad is in a leather case that plays in the landscape mode so we play the Color Sudoko sideways! Can't do that with the "normal" Sudoko. We wish both types of games could be played on the iPad in the landscape mode.
Overall a very good game. Lots of variety. The only reason we don't give it five stars is that, for a game that's all about color, it has a few shortcomings. The background color on one of the color themes is so close in shade to one of the game colors as to be indistinguishable. And some of the color themes are shades that are so difficult to tell apart. We would love to see some more imaginative color themes. Or- here's asking for the moon- be able to select our own set of colors.

The switch to colors instead of numbers is a neat new brain challenge. Some of the color palette options have awfully similar colors which is a bit annoying, but otherwise very fun.
Thanks for changing the colors to be harder to read… The purple was perfect just the way it was. Other then that love the concept… But you should get a better color system.
Love the game played all levels on all the difficulties twice. With the last update you added 50 levels. We started at 201 got to 248 but apparently need to play the first 200 to get the last 2 "maps". We have played at least 20 times without making it to 249. Please fix and we will change our rating.
This is the best implementation of color-coded sudoku that we've found. We much prefer it to the numeric version. Somehow the color version is less distracting, more purely logical.
We prefer the colors Suduko to the numbers. Really challenges you to remember the colors! Very enjoyable.
