Community Insight:
We play this pretty much everyday and we love it. But since the last update the colors glitch by showing the wrong ones, the wrong pictures show up if we dont close the app. Its pretty frustrating especially once we finish we immediately need to close the app.
Both this and AttiLand have sections of images that cant be selected unless you move, zoom, reframe or enlarge that area. For instance, with Coloring Luna, in each game image the uncolored pieces that are in the center (on a 10 iPad, about a two square inch section) of each image cant be colored until you shift that that section to another area of the screen. And even then, sometimes you still have to tap on the uncolored piece multiple times for it to take. Its maddening – and definitely not fun. And, before you suggest it, its NOT our screen. We play all kinds of image heavy touchscreen games and fine edit images with and without a fine point stylus with no problems AT ALL. We keep our touchscreen clean and free of oil & debris. There are no scratches on our screen. We dont use a screen protector. [In AttiLand, there are areas of squares/pixels (mainly on the bottom of the image, but it can happen anywhere, with any color) that can only be filled by tapping on each individual square. You cant touch and hold to color an area of multiple squares. Really annoying when youve got huge areas to color the same color but you can only color one at a time.] we love the Nonagram Luna Stories. But Coloring Luna and AttiLand are just too frustrating to continue playing. Theyre super cute – the images, music and stories are unique and fun. These games are supposed to be relaxing, passive, and low stress. Unfortunately, the mechanics are too broken and cause us too much stress – which simply defeats the purpose of playing games like these.
The epilogue for Episode 3 is the same as Episode 2s epilogue, and we cant replay epilogues.
We love this game a lot. Really nice and calming. We adore the art in itself and we like the story behind it. We got really far into the game (3rd episode on the last couple ones) but we lost all our data when we switched phones :/ Still love this game though.
Absolutely adore this highly underrated game. We just remembered it recently and scrolled through our app history just to find it and play it again. Its unlike any other game of its kind because it has the perfect balance of satisfying coloring that still offers a mild challenge. The finished artwork is beautiful and theres a beginning and end. All of it so absolutely wonderful, the store needs more games like this.
We loved this game sooooo much. Just finished it. Loved the story, the play mechanics, etc. Our only complaint is that theres not another one already! Perfect.
This is our first time ever writing a review for a game in our nearly 10 years with apple products, but we fell in love with this game and HAD to share. We completed the entire thing over the course of several weeks, then deleted the app and redownloaded it to complete it again. The pictures are beautiful, the story is beautiful, everything is amazing. Also we luv the moon keeper <3 anyways great game. 10/10.
Im not really good at writing reviews but- here we go!! Its really cool. The coloring itself is pretty relaxing and cute! Its not too simple but not too complicated to the point you want to quit (lol) The custom mode is also pretty good, apart of the fact that there should be at least and undo button for when you accidentally color the wrong things instead of trying to color match it all over again, but mostly thats just a pet peeve of ours. The ads are mostly alright and fair. There arent so many to the point where its just stressful, so thats a plus!! The story line so far is really good! And we just love the moon and the little character! Its all just too cute :) Anyways we tried to keep this short and sweet since we thought this game deserved a review! Its alright if you dont agree with us or Im missing something since we havent completed the game yet but at least you have our opinion :D Good bye have a good day/night/evening.
Game is great but it keeps crashing and we have to reinstall it and lose all our progress. The cloud save feature doesnt work.
Good art and it matches the story. But the epilogue for chapter 2 got put at the end of chapter 3. The chapter 3 epilogue was nonexistent.
If you play the game while you are NOT connected to the internet, it will become slow and unresponsive after about 5 minutes (and occasionally crash), forcing us to force close the app and load it back up again, sometimes losing our most recent additions to the drawing we were working on. This DOES NOT happen when you ARE connected to the internet. Very few levels available to start with, 3 or 4 per chapter (3 chapters) and they are smaller than the others. All of the other levels are playable ONLY after watching an ad to unlock it, which wouldn't be to bad if there weren't a lot of levels, but there is. You also have to watch an ad if you want to redo a level. We will change our rating to 4 's when this is fixed.
Cannot open new levels. Says no ads available to watch. Has been this way for at least 2 or 3 months now. Very, very occasionally if we click on a level multiple times something will load but just as often it still does not give access to the new page to color.
Im only partway through the first episode but something Ive noticed in some of the pictures depicting demons and the evil wizard, theres imagery of the six-pointed star, or the Star of David, which is a common symbol of Judaism. We only have seen this in those pictures, and none in the pictures of the protagonists the player is encouraged to root for. Intentional or not, it holds up the very antisemitic stereotype that Jewish people are evil. It would be best if this could be fixed, but at the very least it should be recognized by the game makers and for them to not do anything like this in the future.
We loved this app but now it wont work cause it says there arent ads available to play, but you cant play the game unless you watch one. No way to color.
After purchasing ad removal, the app will no longer open at all. Just stays on the initial loading screen. Cant even get to main menu. Very disappointing, feels like we threw away money. Ive tried closing and opening the app, restarting our phone, nothing works.
We really enjoyed the Picross Luna games, so you can imagine our excitement when we saw an ad for Coloring Luna- we figured it would be a chiller version of Picross, the same story with less puzzling, maybe even a more in-depth story or a continuation. However, we were sorely mistaken, as Coloring Luna is considerably more boring with a complete lack of story, the ads dont stop at any point (like Picrosss ads disappear once you reach 90% completion of the game gimmick, that Ill be honest- Im not sure was real, but at least it made us feel better about the ads we did see) and are considerably more annoying (watch ads to unlock levels). Not to mention, even as a stand-alone coloring game, its not that great- the ending replay animation doesnt follow the player at all, making up its own order to color the image in, and the lack of numbers for color sorting removes any strategy one might bring to a coloring game like this. On a positive note, however, the music is fantastic, considerably less repetitive than other games, and the art designs and color choices are pretty and calming- so if thats all you really want in a coloring game, then youre definitely set.
That being said, every time our device goes to sleep we have to go through reloading the game a fresh. Is there a way to make it so that when our iPad goes to sleep or the app is suspended it does not go through the full splash screen from the beginning again, but rather pick up where you left off? Thank So! Update: just finished both chapters and would really love the third! Love your app thank you very much.
We love this app. It is very easy and we use it to relax and clear our mind. We have redone all the coloring sheets several times because we like the colors and the story that goes with them. Eagerly awaiting the next part, hopefully it comes soon.
We had a great time and we cant wait for part 3! 11/29/20.
We love this game! But we are having a problem with no adds being available to do new levels and when we do get an add to watch for a new level once the add is done the game just quits.
Noice and calming. 11/10 will play more.
Since playing the original PicrossLUNA Ive wanted to color the beautiful storybook pictures and now we can! Im so happy :).
Really cute artwork And youre rewarded with little story segments when you complete pictures.
This app is a great way to chill out and relax. By far our favorite coloring app.
The music the pallet the story. Everything is gorgeous and timeless. Plus a really deep custom coloring mode.
We had a lot of fun filling in these coloring pages and reading the Nobilunia story again as Ive already completed PicrossLUNA. We hope the developer comes out with a coloring app for the second story.
We tend to love the fill in the picture games no matter how they are played, and this game (series?) is by far our favorite. Only thing Id want changed is an option to remove the pattern x completed since it does get a bit annoying after a while.
A nice, relaxing coloring game.
We love the picross luna games, and figured we would try this game since we really like the story. This is a fun and enjoyable, but really quite short, game. We give it 4 stars because of the very frequent advertisements, but youre able to skip them pretty quickly after they start. We would recommend this since it is a very cute story, and the picross games can be more challenging for people to complete, so this is a more accessible way to experience the luna story.
We would give this 5 stars if the ads would at least wait until we finish coloring the stage. Its pretty annoying.
Nice soothing music, pretty pictures and colors, simple and relaxing.
Been absolutely loving it so far but we just tried opening the app and all our progress is gone :( Tried restoring save and it said there was nothing there.
We have enjoyed PicrossLUNA for quite some time & was pleased to stumble across this app where we can color the beautiful illustrations used in the game. It is detailed & relaxing & the pictures are so pretty when they are completed. This is our new favorite app.
Just good, not like spectacular just something good to pass time.
