Dive into Concrete Jungle

A follow up to the puzzle hit ‘MegaCity’! Concrete Jungle is a new take on the city building genre that swaps micro-management for a more strategic and puzzle-orientated style of city planning.

You have a deck of selected cards which you can use to place buildings. Each building will affect it’s surroundings in different ways. The aim of the game is to clear city blocks by gathering the required number of points from your residents, giving more room to build. As the city grows, bigger and better new buildings can be added to your deck!

As you get opportunities to hone and refine your deck, residents will demand more from you. You’ll find yourself inadvertently creating zoning puzzles- playing against your own past planning decisions.

Alternatively engage in competitive city planning against challenging AI or local players. Take it in turns to place buildings in the same city and battle over the affection of your citizens!

  • Over 230 cards available and no micro-transactions!
  • 8 Playable characters each with their own skill trees, unique cards and play style.
  • Hilarious fully voice-acted story mode!
  • Competitive city planning featuring challenging AI in ‘Versus’ mode.
  • Local competitive/co-op multiplayer for up to 4 players or AI.
  • Gorgeous vibrant, detailed isometric graphics.
  • Rich and atmospheric soundtrack.
  • Achievements & leaderboards.

iPad or large screen iPhone recommended.
iOS 9 or newer required.

Find out what gamers are saying about Concrete Jungle:

Excellent puzzle city building strategy game. Great presentation. Worth the money.

Its Simcity meets deckbuilding and tetris. We are impressed by the layers of strategic depth this game has to offer. You have 8 unique (and hilarious) characters each with their own tech tree, plus more than 200 cards to choose from, so the combinations are endless. The AI is also really good and offers a great challenge. The 3 game modes (solo, versus, and classic) are all ton of fun and require you to think differently. You can tell the game designers put a lot of thought into this game – we havent had this much fun with a puzzler in a long time and this game deserves more attention!

There needs to be a section that better explains how each card works. MegaCity is much better in this respect. There also needs to be an option to turn off the chatter from the characters.

It is terrible and wont let us delete.

The optimization for iPhone XS is completely broken, annoying to play because of this.

Not sure whats happened. Game is unplayable on the iPhone XR now. Game no longer fills screen and menu options remain on screen after dialogue.

Really engaging game with brilliant AI. HOWEVER, that AI is way too slow. There’s one piece where you need to play in a four player versus game. Waiting for the others to "take their turns" is just as annoying as waiting for humans to play. It takes so long, our iPad tries to sleep while we wait, even with the speed set to turbo. Three times we’ve played before bed and fallen asleep waiting for that particular board to play out. Other than that, it’s truly a great, challenging game that’s worth the money.

We love this game, and hate math. Our job revolves around Socratic arguments and logic, but zero math most of the time. That being said, this is one of the most fun games involving numbers that we’ve played in a long time. Phenomenal voice acting, and an actually original game system. Been gaming since the early 90s, not since lemmings and desktop dungeons have we seen a puzzle game this deep that wasn’t a knock off of Tetris or a match 3 game. By the way, the thing that we love the most about it, is that not once, did we have to say "… For a mobile game.". It’s straight up good, go watch a video of gameplay before you buy though, might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

We’re a big time iOS gamer, and we think this is the deepest, most enjoyable puzzler we’ve seen on the platform in years. The many mechanics are rolled out slowly over time, and there are a variety of choices regarding how to build your deck – with new cards earned with experience. We also love the multiplayer feature. Wish TouchArcade and Pocket Gamer had given this one more love!

There is a lot to love about Concrete Jungle. The deck building and puzzle mechanics work very well, offering a lot of variety and replay value. The music, sound design, and voice acting really bring the city-building theme to life. The campaign is challenging and satisfying. We have 100+ hours logged in the PC version and can’t get enough. Our girlfriend and we play versus mode constantly. So happy to see this well-polished game brought to mobile so seamlessly. It’s a lot of fun on either platform. We would buy and rate this game again just to keep these developers making great stuff.

Love the game. Need more games like this.

As others have noted, this is not a typical city building game. It’s more a hybrid deck game with building elements. This turned out to be an excellent building/strategy/deck game with high production values. We’re more than happy to pay up front rather than deal with micro transactions. We feel good about this purchase and recommend.

Strategic fun puzzle solving game that has great replay value. Well worth the money and you don’t have to worry about annoying in app purchases. It also has great caricatures along the way with hysterical dialogue.

We’ve finished the campaign and really enjoyed it and would happily pay for more scripted matches. We’ve just started playing Custom games and hope to find good settings to allow for longterm replay-ability as we feel like there are many more strategies to explore. If you like card games and puzzlers, you should pick this up! Highly recommended.

We were enraptured by this card-based strategy game. The graphics suit the game’s design really well, & the campaign is addictively fun & challenging. This game deserves more attention!

Thank you for the fixes in this update. We enjoyed the slow introductory to all of the game mechanics. We’re fully invested and intrigued by Concret Jungle.

Trying to line up houses and such to clear a column… Boring!

We absolutely love this game! The graphics are great, and it’s play style makes it so addictive! 5 Stars.

Loved the game on steam very well made puzzle/ city/ card / RPGs game with great story and great port to iOS.

This is a pretty challenging game, at least for us, which is a nice change because it’s not quick to master. It stays pretty fresh throughout the campaign and the custom games are solid. A lot of good options! What drives us CRAZY is how slow the AI is even when we’ve set it to "Turbo." The AI takes about 3 times longer than we do every turn. It’s like playing against a friend who is only half paying attention. The other issue is that we can’t listen to music/podcasts while playing. Make those two changes and this would be 5/5.

While it is an interesting concept, those interested in building cities like in other city simulators should be aware that this is more of a card puzzle solving game.

The text and iconography in this game are so tiny, they’re nearly illegible on our iPhone 7. Though the concept looks neat, we can’t sort out how to play it when the instructions are in ~5pt font!
