We love playing the game one infuriating thing is the ads the ads cause the game too freeze or we cant even exit out of it, we have to close the app restart it and loose our progress in recipe, this also happens when ads pop up after things causing us to restart.
When you play just the minigames, you dont really get much ads, and they only show once you exit out of them. Its when you finish cooking a dish that you almost always get an ad. Its really only a mild inconvenience on its own except for when the ad causes the app to freeze and become unresponsive. Then Im forced to restart the game and lose any progress that we previously made.
Can yall make it more simple without all that extra stuff because it was too much going on for no reason.
This game would be very fun and relaxing, but its always freezing! Please fix this issue.
This game is literally one of the best games. If you are into cooking and stuff like that, this is the game for you! It has a store, a restaurant, fields, orchards, fishing, and a TON of fun mini games! This might not be a long review, but this is the one to read! Thank you for reading this.
Am we the only one who had this as a game on our ds.
The game sometimes bugs and its not the same with the android version.
Sometimes when we watch an ad we come back to the game and its frozen. Its easy to fix though you just have to exit and rejoin the game.
Guys we had the game for 10 years and people are like we love this game but we deleted it because is am a bit too old but the thing is you can play whenever you want nobody is gonna judge you if you play this game so people who think that just dont tell or something who cares this is really fun game too so bye.
We are a big fan of cooking mama on the original DS, but its pretty convenient to have a version on our phone! Even tho the graphics are HORRENDOUS, in this game, even worse than DS and GameCube graphics, we dont really mind. And making all the food is quite simple, so its not stressing. We havent tried everything in this other than the cooking and stuff, not all of it Really interests us, but we think growing food is gonna be cool! Im grateful to have this game, because Even tho Im only 12 years old, we have absolutely no games on our phone, so its nice to have on for once.
This game helps us to cook and not have to clean after we can fish and do gardening and we highly recommend this game.

This game changed us it made us change the way we look at life we wanted to Kms we were depressed because all our family died and our dog got molested to death and we were planning to do it but then we stumble across this game and it changed us we stared feeling happy again and wanted to do thing for the better and got us out of commenting suicide we recommend 10/10 game of the year.
The game is fun and addictive, mark our words.
We do enjoy this game a-lot we used to play it on the wii when we were younger so we were so excited to play it on our phone. It brings back good memories. Our only complaint is we wish it did have more recipes. We think the most exciting thing about this game is putting together new combinations. But overall 9/10 would recommend.
Cooking Mama is very fun, and there are tons of things you can do other than cook! Run a ranch, watch cooking videos, do challenges. Cooking Mama also doesnt require internet, so you can play on, say, the airplane. So, we have watched 5/6 cooking videos. (Im watching the sweets ones.) When we watch the banana video, it then unlocks the strawberry shortcake video, saying we can watch it tomorrow. But, when we go on the next day, it says we havent watched the banana one and we need to rewatch it. Ive tried many times but it still does that. Is there a way to fix this? Overall, Cooking Mama is a fun game and we recommend it.
This is a great game if you have time to kill and dont mind watching a good amount of ads and that you dont mind that the game puts ads LITERALLY EVERYWHERE one of those people is us, kind of. But the issue is that we just did our first mamas dojo and we watched an ad, and then that game froze. Might wanna work on that and maybe turn the ad level down a peg or two. Otherwise good game but we miss old cooking mama partly because there were no ads and also because we had MY WHOLE THING DONE AND MAXED OUT then our Ds stopped working but good game just a few too many ads and it does not feel like true cooking mama to us, but idc cause its still an overall decent game to us, we just wish that our progress on the original could be linked to this one so we dont have to start from scratch.
Why am we paying for Apple Arcade to play this game where we have to PAY for new recipes and we also have to watch ads to continue to play the game.
The game screen is so crowded it makes it more difficult to play, things are constantly popping up and there are some fun extra functions but way too many for it to be enjoyable.
We were on the first level trying to speedrun it and we're on the shrimp part to spin the batter. And it does not tell you ANYTHING, like anything. Not even on your first level. We're not trying to be rude but just trying to say like maybe tell people how to? Sorry.
Not every time, but at least every 4 ads it will freeze after exiting out and then we have to do everything from the last 5 minutes all over again.

Its a good game but it has to many adds and extra features.
We like cooking mama games, we played them since we were little on the Wii and the gameplay is always cute and fun. We cant stand this app though, theres too many pop-ups, too many elements moving, it gets frustrating just to try to sit and play the game for awhile. We keep getting the same pop-ups about the same new game modes, it feels like the game is forcing us to do go do more but it ends up just making the UX messy and distracting for people who arent 7 years old and need constant movement to be entertained. Its almost as bad as a 30 second ad popping up and instead of making food like we want, we leave the app after making one or two things because it gets aggravating when the menu moves 4 pages down to a new recipe we dont want to make yet or tells us to go try a new mode we unlocked ages ago. Everything else is great though as we said from actual gameplay to graphics, Im ultimately glad we get to keep playing a childhood game. Just wish we could spend more than 10 minutes on it before the annoyance takes over.
We were revisiting this game from our childhood, we remember how simpler the game is without the dumb tycoon elements. Playing this now is really obnoxious looking honestly. The menus are kinda hard to understand (maybe im just dumb idk), the game keeps freezing every time we played an ad. Overall a buggy and a corporate mess.
When we got this game right when it stopped loading we turned it on and it started loading but the stopped we deleted it then got the cuisine one, way better.
We really enjoy playing this game! We get to cook new fun meals, decorate a restaurant, and dress up mama! Its really cute and nostalgic of when we used to play cooking mama on the wii and DS! We totally recommend.

So if you don't like this game idm but lemme tell you this, This game is good, it has a lot of stuff and people, we really don't like the restaurant of mines it's kinds boring, but really when we tried our skill of pounding the mochi it gives us a NEW RECORD! We're so happy!! Also we can change mama's character! You can change her clothes, hair, and acc! And we just use our money and we wouldn't mind the advertisement, well at least is on our phone, but we got a copy of cooking mama where she eats people- it's not a darkside but the original one, this game is good.
Its a realy fun game but it keeps freezing.
When you have to store in the fridge, swiping up makes you exit the game because of the silly navigation bar. A workaround would be nice.

We love cooking mama, its an addicting game to play whenever your bored. But im definitely missing out on some things in this game because the absurd amount of pop ups telling you to watch ads for coins. We cant understand anything on our screen because as soon as a try to touch something something pops up. Otherwise, its a cute game.
We just got this game to cook, but there are all these pop ups and activities that make the game very overwhelming. Our little cousin tried playing the game and she kept asking us to get to the cooking part for her because everything is just so cluttered and disorganized!! Please, all we need is a simple, cooking game.
We really want to give this app 5 stars but since downloading it last night, its been freezing every time we had to watch an ad. Then it wouldnt be one unfrozen so Id have to exit the app at least 20 times in order to play again. It seems that Im only able to prevent the game from freezing if we watch an ad in its entirety. But not even then. It gets annoying especially when Im starting to like playing the game.
You have to watch an ad to do hardly anything important in the game and after watching a lot it often freezes and when you swipe out of the tab you have to start over because it doesnt save progress.

Almost every time im cooking after an ad once it goes back to the game it freezes and we have to restart the game, which makes the food we were in the process of making dissapear, even when we were at the end of making the dish.
Ill get an ad and itll make the whole game freeze and then we lose our progress. We love the game though because it reminds us of the ds version but the micro-transactions and ads ruin it in our opinion.

Ive loved this game for quite a while. Its fun and addicting!! We for sure recommend this game for those who enjoy cooking. The recipes are near accurate but we wouldnt follow them for an important event with food. The only thing we do not like is the in app purchases and ads. Otherwise, this game is wonderful.
We remember playing this at the age of 6 or 8 and we're 12 years old now. We're so happy we found this game again because this erased from our memory. We learned how to cook eggs and hotdogs thanks to this game! We love you guys so much – from yours truly, Lexi.

Ive always loved cooking games, since we were a kid being able to mix ingredients and cut vegetables and fruits has always been fun. This takes us back to that time and is a great stress reliever!! Theres very few games like this and its sad really but thankful this one keeps it as close to cooking s as possible!! We own all recipes and we think that is our only complaint, we need more recipes! Im ok buying them because they are really cheap and its worth the ongoing uniqueness of the game! With so many new foods, cuisines out there leaves you an opportunity to add so many more recipes! We dont care for the side games but we do play them just to get the ingredients! Would love to see just good recipes we can cook and continue to gain ranks as a chef!! We hope theres an update soon for new recipes.
Ok, so like, we love this game, if you go into the settings you can actually turn off ads so its a better experience. We love the recipes and the fact that you gather your own ingredients by playing various mini games to get happy foods, people are saying that this game has too many ads, and theyre probably blind. This game is awesome, we love the new recipes, we have every version of the game, and this is definitely a good choice ! Edited: The game is still awesome, but also some suggestions, 1, maybe you could add a feature where you can play Mama Dojo with someone else, or even just AI, it doesnt really matter what because it is just fun with the pressure of someone else racing to get the same recipe done as you are. Another feature you could add is in-game videos. Every time we try to watch the cooking mama videos it takes us to YouTube and pop ups take over our IPad and it is annoying, it would make such a difference if you could change that. Another thing, we would love to be able to be able to see Cooking Mama at our restaurant sometime, it could be like a special chance! Or a reward if you have been doing well in your cooking, and it could be like you personally serve her the food. Thats all, just some suggestions we think would make this game so much better. Other than that, we will keep playing this game.
