Puzzles are challenging but are possible to solve without having to buy something. We havent been playing very long we hope this game continues to be relaxing and lots of fun. We were so tired of match three games that had children for their major audiences. There is a relaxing mode. You dont have the pressure of only a few chances to win or have to start over or make purchases. We paid the very small reasonable cost and havent been bothered with ads for other games or needing boosters or extra energy or any of the other reasons to buy something or lose.
So if youre tired of playing match 3 games that make it so hard for you to win levels without purchasing microtrqnsactions, then try this game or other similar -[cradle of rome] you pay once then play. We hate timed play, so this game has a relaxed version. You get rewards. You actually can win levels. Give it a try.
Its well worth the money you pay for this game. Yes the tile are small, our fingers are not small but the tiles in our case are very easily moved and place. We have not had any trouble at all with this game. We love how you get to build as you play along. Its relaxing and fun to play. The puzzles are also great. A shout out to the ones who developed this game. One could not ask for more for the price. To those reading this we HIGHLY recommend this game. Download it now… You will not be disappointed. Fun game in relaxed mode. The art work is marvelous as is the art work in Cradle of empires. What we like most is that you pay once and don't have to keep paying over and over to get on with the game.

We played this on the relaxed mode. It was relatively easy, but somewhat repetitive. Graphics were good. We recommend it.
Good match 3 game, and no further purchases! Games are a little long to work up enough supplies to build, but not bad. Like the variety of mini games to build. This is a pretty game. No problems with crashing as others have mentioned on our iPad. Playing relaxed mode, maybe timed next.
We have been a big fan of Cradle of Rome, so was hoping Egypt would be the same reward. The graphics are good, and the mini games are maybe even better but it crashes a lot. The music and general play experience are better in Cradle of Rome, but this game is fine.

Love the game . The only thing we have yet to finish. Having trouble finishing scenes that has the fill life meter.
We purchased the 3 game pack approximately 2-3 weeks ago and all of them reset after so many levels unless you use a different name. The graphics are nice but the starting from the beginning again is very frustrating. We think we will stick to Cradle of Empires. Its free and way more levels.
This is the worst of the series. The timer is much too fast in this game. In other games in this series the timer is normal. This is one is geared to make you lose every level or buy resources to add a little bit of time, which depletes all your resources. They are a ridiculous amount as well. We gave up on level 85. There was just no way to beat the level without depleting all your resources and using up all your lives. Horrible game. We cant believe we paid for this. Cradle of Rome 1 and 2 were FAR superior. No wonder they have never made another of these games. No one wants this anymore because they made it ridiculously too hard.
We purchased this game years ago and enjoyed playing it. Now, we have 2 black apps titled Cradle of Egypt. Receiving help with this issue appears fruitless and we can not understand why. Yes, we have Purchased the game…twice. How do we get someone to contact us.
We've played all the "cradle" games, on more than one platform, but this one is horrible. You will spend the final levels making your two or three moves, then waiting for the random reshuffle, to see whether it did you any good this time. There is no possibility of improving your situation with skillful play. If total frustration appeals to you, this is your game. Otherwise, give it a pass.
Wonderful game…except games are supposed to be FUN. At the higher levels, it becomes impossible to win. It's totally luck, and you just get stuck on areas of the board that are not productive. We've played all your games, and enjoyed them, but this one misses the mark by being stupidly difficult. A year later…. Again level 82 simply ruins this game. Ive played all your games, and have really loved them. This one is bad karma… For AWEM games.
Graphics are great, etc, BUT this app does not have a feature that one can turn "hint" off. If there are about two "tiles" left to eliminate by match 3, a circular motion in a dif. Color encircles them. We can plainly see where they are and the movement is very distracting and drives us crazy because we have ADHD. Waste of money for us, the distracting motion eliminates our enjoyment. We would give this app 5 stars otherwise. We forgot about this annoying feature because have earlier Rome versions that we deleted. In addition, we dont like hints when the solution is glaringly obvious (even if we didnt mind this feature Carol C.

FINALLY a game we can play without having to constantly buy lives, etc. We play the relaxed mode. Lots of play and mini games.

This game is a fun combination of match three and city building. We love the relaxed mode where you can just keep playing until you finish. We recently deleted another game because we couldn't win any levels without spending significant money on boosters.
We played this one on the Amazon Tablet (bad choice) and loved it. Glad it's here.

For all those seeking world domination (at least the animated kind) this game will be the perfect thing. The puzzles to complete the plans get more challenging over time, but aren't so crazy difficult as to decrease the enjoyment of the game. We particularly enjoy the little memes the citizens perform once that particular structure has been built. Good relaxing fun.

We have yet to be disappointed in all our purchases of, "The Cradle" series. This one is no exception! Hats off to the developers who continue to produce new and exciting games in this series, while staying true to its predecessor's. Thank you for making improvements to graphics without changing the gameplay. Keep them coming, please! We're sure we're not alone in being a fan for life.
There's several versions of this game. They're always lovely, easy interface, fun. Addendum: 15th time we've been asked to rate this game (we've kept count) after we already rated it, isn't that a bit excessive? We understand about the rating system but come on now.
Lovely graphics. Challenging but not impossible to move forward.
We like match 3 games, but they get old pretty fast. NOT THIS ONE. There are constant twists which keep it fresh and new. The graphics are amazing. The levels are challenging with the timed option which makes t more exciting. And then there is the building side to it and the puzzles, which you can skip with no penalty. It's just a game that is spectacular. We want to play it all the time.
We like the variety of the game. The only thing that is difficult we'd the size of the pieces in the swap portion, very hard to see.

Very enjoyable match-three game. The Egyptian theme makes it more fun. There are some interesting patterns to learn to "make the best move." This is our favorite game when we have a few minutes.
Combined both our iPad and our laptop we've played Cradle of Egypt well over 100 times. The graphics are wonderful. We find so many games make us up tight but not this on. We find it very relaxing. This is one of the few 'Match 3' games we play, and we do play Cradle of Egypt every day. We think as we age, we need to stimulate our brain and at just under age 80 we need all the help we can get. That is the reason we play most genres. We hope you enjoy Cradle of Egypt as much as we do.
