Ever since its original PC release, we have enjoyed Crimsonland across a plethora of devices. Its top-down twin stick DOOM If you just want to blast the baddies with fun guns and power-ups this is your jam ;].
Fantastic game however anytime we want to play we have to disable display zoom (basically lower resolution mode e.g. Bigger app icons and text) in display settings… This game doesnt seem to support the different resolution, fix this and we will purchase at donation price.
This is one of our favorite games we are a fan of the doom games and this game is a lot like them we love the gore and the music to we hope you guys add more to this game soon we would like that a lot.
Miss games like this! We search and search for games just like this, and there are ones but they either crash or dont load at all, some work just right so we keep them and play em. It would be a 5 star but its not the whole game, you have to purchase the full game after alittle bit of playing (a perfect tease we would say) but you cant play over and over again its not time limited. And it has a free survival mode (but not all the weapons or perks) but you can challenge yourself to get higher and higher scores. Its great and Im going to tell many ppl about this game. Thank you developers for this! And keep up the great work! Ty ty ty.
First of all the game is amazing because we were played on PC now on IOS which is great. We played it then asking us for purchase if we want to all the game and we dont have problems with it. But we want to play online. Try to figure out how you make it. Thanks.
Love the game but … Co-op does not work and all around needs more to it like upgrades new lvls or a lvling system idk there is so much you can do with this game but it hasnt been touched in a year …. Note we play every chance we get.
Controls wonk out and it hurts your wrist to play for more than ten minutes. Weapon selection is ok. The good guns always get replaced during heated combat, and RNG for upgrades when you have a good gun are all death clock. You cant move fast enough. Zombie survival is cool and the graphics/sound are good. A few tweaks, and itd be great. Random Weapon should say which weapon youre choosing.
We played this game on Xbox and we were glad to find it on mobile too. So we can play it whenever Im out and about. We didnt purchase the whole game as it would be more money spent. Maybe make more free please? Including no new content has been added in forever. Also, wheres the co op option.
We hope the developers see this review we love the game we first played it on console we would go for hours playing it on multiplayer with friends we're a fan of 10ton's and have been for a long time however now the ugly truth the controllers need to be fixed and updated why would Anyone pay 9.99 or 10$ on a game that counts your accuracy when you can't do anything but shoot all directions it has a option in the settings but it needsdon't work do we need to pay for it to work ? People are not going to pay for the full version knowing it hasn't been updated or fixed in so long we mean 10$ for a mobile game is steep but worth it if done right and until you fix it ya won't be getting it from us but if you added a shoot botton on the screen and a move botton on the other it would sell more but sadly we're deleting it we want to get Jydge because we love that game but This turned us against that.
For us the menu is at the bottom left of our screen and everything else on the screen is black.
Game needs pulled from the store, co-op does not work in anyway. Good solo game but we did not buy it for that.
Delete this please save time and wont get others there hopes up on a great memory of game.
This is one solid game, very satisfying to play, addictive with beautiful graphics. This is a tremendous improvement of the original Crimson Land (we remember it being called Crimson World but we dont think it is still available). There is plenty of blood, dozens of guns, perks, and enemies. This highly polished version reminds us of another old twin stick top-down shooter called Blood n Guns. The plethora of weapons, enemies and blood, even the general look of the game is very similar, but darker. One thing we liked about the game that Id like to hopefully see in an update, was in survival modes, you could acquire armor, shield, health, perks, and they would build up on a meter. We think that would increase the playability of this game. Other things Id love to see in future updates- Id like to see another button for thrown items like grenades, flares, etc. The ability to zoom in 2x to see the character details better More levels in a future update, game modes, possible death match, online? Possible ways to permanently upgrade your character (story mode?) More complex missions involving rescue, moving to different locations, etc. This is definitely a 5 Star game, the free version is great but if you enjoy twin stick shooters with lots of blood, guns, and upgrades, then you really owe it to yourself to drop $4.99 and buy the full version of Crimson Land. You pay more than that for an extra value meal anyhow. -Great job devs, we look forward to future updates.
We remember playing this as a flash game when we were 11 or so. Im 25 and am so stoked this is on the App Store. As addicting as it was when we were a kid. The original wave shorter.
Think Smash T.V. For the SNES but with an arsenal of unique guns, powerups, perks, different game modes and more hordes of monsters than you can shake your wee lil blow torch at Survival modes are addictive, challenging, and fun slaying thousands of rabid packs of aliens, lizard men, and multiplying spideroids all the while trying to rake up the most points before being swarmed to death. Figuring out effective weapon+perk combinations is rewarding and satisfying. Trying to beat your high score in the survival modes will keep you playing well after unlocking the games weapons and perks.
We're sooooo happy this game got 64 bit support. We have this game on Steam and we immediately bought it when we got an IPhone. It's really an awesome game! Thank you devs for continuing to support this game! We're so very happy.
We tried this game on the computer, and it was great!then, we got it on our ps vita, then on our PS4, and they were both great. Then we got the full version on our phone, and it is the exact same game as on the PS4, which is very impressive.just one problem. We beat the game on grim difficulty, and the gun we go isn't very good. This is supposed to be a monument to us achievement, but all we got was a crappy weapon. Please make it better.
Not sure if its an OLED issue with this game or some kind of bug but the graphics look fuzzy and not sharp on the iphone X. We were previously playing it on the 7 and it looked nice on there.
We are unaware of how to use the co-op function as it doesn't show up. Do we need to beat the game on all difficulties to be able to play co-op? We just finished normal mode but have yet to see the option to play co-op. Otherwise a great game and a blast to play.
No frills and pretty plain looking but intense action and fun. Love it.
But like majority of the awesome games out here. There is no APPLE TV support. We purchased a Nimbus controller to get the real feel of a duel stick shooter! Once again Apple thanks for your magical experience.
DONT BUY THE FULL GAME!!! We paid $10 for the full game…buuuuuut where is it? We got a new iPhone, and had to re-download it on our new one, but where is our data.

A classic shooter, it is as good on iPad as we remember from playing it on our PC. Very entertaining game that will test your gaming skills :).

Crimson land is a top down shooter developed by 10Tons as a PC game before being ported to mobile devices for fans of the game to relieve old the era of old school shooters. The controls are top notch, the enemy and weapon diversity is great to a point were no enemy nor weapon seems Overpowered as the game solely relies on the player's skill to survive the onslaught. Best Part about Crimson land is that you unlock the full game at any price which is unheard of in the App Store so yeah the Developers at 10Ton know how to make a quality product.

This is an excellent remake for the iPhone. We were in 7th grade when this game first came out for the PC (11+ years ago) and .. Just WOW!! Big ups to the guys at 10tons for this.
We played this game sooo much when we were little but now that it's on here our life is complete!! The fact that we can play one of our favorite games anytime we want and it's still the same is just perfect. If more developers did this then the AppStore would make a bunch more money. We do have one complaint though. The co-op needs have wifi capabilities and not just local gamepad connection. Other than this we love it.

If you don't know what Crimsonland is, look it up. It's an incredible twin stick pc game from like 8 years ago. You can buy the full game in app for 4.99 this is really just a demo. It's effing incredible. We highly recommend.
One of the best top down shooters we've played on iOS. If the game had online multiplayer then without a doubt it would be the best.
This is a super fun game! Our only complaint so far is that you can't pick a different weapon to start with or switch weapons without running over a weapon bubble.

We play in this game, but we don't understands how to play with friend?Really.we thought, we could play with our friend online or on one devise, but we don't find the way to play online.Maybe, we don't understood anything?Please, add a multiplayer or help us.
We played this game all the time back on the old school PC days. Love it on the iPad. However, level 2.10 on hard has us stopped. We don't understand why you don't earn the power ups from XP from killing the splitting spiders like you do with everything else. Without those that level is basically impossible. At least for us anyways.

Good game, but what's the idea behind having to buy Mfi controllers for playing co-op?! Stupid if you ask us. Make it over the wifi. Even stupid golf games can be played against each other over wifi)) and this jewel should definitely have this feature.

We had this game on our PS3 but we found out that its a app so we quickly downloaded it. It won't let us play it and we're stuck. Any one who's reading this- it might be a problem with our itouch. (Or not.).
We love this game, we play it on our own plenty. But we downloaded it for co-op play with friends. The game says you must purchase the full version to play co-op. We gladly did. After the option didn't show up, we discover that you need an MFI gaming controller to play with friends. We buy 1 controller to test the waters and it works pretty good (pairing can be a pain). We buy three more and get excited for some carnage… Only one controller goes active. The rest remain paired but useless. Why is this so hard, 10tons.
The ultra survival game where you unlock perks and weapons and more game modes through the quests. Each level has 10 stages that you need to survive and kill all the enemies to win. But… The last stage of the last level is impossible. Boss monsters spawn like normal monsters and rip your face off like a stick of butter through a hot blender. You will not survive but keep coming back over and over to try again. Get. This. Game.
This game needs to get big. Awesome game to play but warning, ur gonna need time to play this. Like maybe before bed or 1hr of free time bc it's addicting.
Superb game just like it was on the PC! Like others, we remembered about the game and low and behold it is in the App Store! Purchased it to support them. Very glad they kept everything almost the same! Definite recommendation.
Crimson land is an old, but awesome computer game that translates very well to the mobile platform. The design is much the same (which is a good thing!) but with added progression mechanics via the use of quest mode to unlock perks and weapons for survival and the other modes. Very happy to have found it on iOS.
