We absolutely love this game. The only thing we wish they would fix is when you finish a quest on an island and it immediately takes you out of the merge space. We end up losing any money, gems, or experiences that was left in there because we cant go back.
Not only is this game extremely cute but it is very fun, very intuitive and a fair game! We hope the developers arent done with it because Ive never seen a game that combines the story with the merge tasks in this way and Im addicted lol. Download critter coast today.
Its a fun and cute game but it didnt take long to run out of story/things to do. Hope it gets updated soon with more to do.
We were given one bed to begin with for our house but we placed at least ten while still in editing mode as well as other furniture and we cant delete them It glitches and allowed us to place more than the one piece of furniture we had by letting us copy it all over our house in editing mode, and now we cant delete any of the duplicate furniture we added if that makes sense we really love the game though.
RE; The Art it is nice and calming, however, the gameplay is too guided to the point of annoyance. It doesn't let you have free will and forces you to listen to text instead of the game.
As an adult, we really enjoy this children's game. We do high stress, high stakes work. It can be hard to slow down and stop doing. This game is just a bunch of repetitive, low stakes tasks. So when we feel like we have to do something and cant stop working but know that we really do need a break before we burnout, we accomplish the little tasks in this game.
Ive played a lot of merging games, but Ive always liked this one the most. Super cute, not pay to play, and entertaining.
This game is so cute and lovely and us and our friend absolutely adore it but theres some issues that we would love to see fixed!! First off; after youve restored some things, for example cleared the gloop, its still visually there even after youve fixed it. This also happened to us with the villagers on foggy island. Second off; in our friends game it wont allow her to craft what she needs to complete the tasks even though she has the required fish to do it. Super cute game fantastic job overall :3.
We love playing this game! The characters are adorable and the storyline is so fun. Its nothing like the other merge games Ive played, and trust us, Ive played a lot! It can get annoying when Im deep in the game and then suddenly OUT OF ENERGY appears on the screen though. We just love the game otherwise.
The first entertaining game ive played apart from shooters and rthym games in so long that doesnt give us an ad wvery five seconds. We play this everyday and get maybe three ads pew week and thats when im impatient to wait for our energy to refil :D.
Edit: we finally caved and uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if the issue will be resolved that way, but honestly having to start over after being so far in is hard. Really love this game but so devastated about this issue. So we love this game, and all we want is to keep playing it. Unfortunately with the newest update Ive got a bug – we keep showing up on a purple patch by Walton the walrus on the new Whispering Waves island and cant leave it. If we close the app and reopen it Im back on the main island at the dock, and when we try to go to the Whispering Waves island again, for some reason Im on the purple patch, and not at the dock. Trying to walk out of the edges of it is like trying to walk into an locked area, so Im just stuck on the patch. Im sad because we love this game – we spend a lot of time on it. Hopefully there is an update soon to fix this so we can get back to cleaning the island.
Find it sad that there arent many ways to get more energy but to wait or pay (igc or real money). Overall very cute game.
Ive had this game on our ipad for a really long time survived the reset and everything. It is fun and cute, but it feels pretty unfinished still. There are a lot of areas im unable to access and considering the reset its hard to believe ive caught up to all thats been developed so far, but we guess we have. Ive stocked up maps and magic to the point that all the game can do now is give us otter orders to fill and give us gems. There are no more islands and no spots to use our magic bottles to clear. It feels like its waiting for so much more and we hope it comes soon.

We downloaded this game over a year ago and eventually reached what you can consider end game. We saw that it had been delisted and seemingly no longer in development but never had the heart to delete the game. Today we saw an AD on IG for this game and immediately clicked through to update. So happy that this game is back along with new features added. Got our boyfriend to join in as well! Love the cute whimsical graphics.
We play this game to relax and unwind sometimes and gameplay is very casual, the only problem we have is the energy system where we have to wait to continue playing.
We used to have this game and played it for a year, so obvious we got super far in it. Then when we got a new phone we realized we couldn't save our progress and now everything we had was gone and we were to far into the game to start all over again.
How do we get the butterfly net? One of the critters told us how to catch the butterflies but not how to get the net.
We love this game and the art is really cute but with the new update for a lot of the tasks there are upgraded items that require a lot of these materials that have very low drop rates and it makes it frustrating and less enjoyable to play. It would be better if there was a separate resource for those specific items like the incense ones and the construction gear.
Really cute and fun little bugs here and there but it doesnt get in the way of it being a fun game.
We really enjoyed playing this game when it first came out, even though it was unfinished. When they did a complete reset of story progress, we were a little miffed, but decided to play through it again just to see if it had improved (which, btw, was about a month long endeavor if you arent paying for energy). It was somehow less complete than before, but with new art in some area (we do miss the tree bakery). NOW the game feels even more incomplete and broken than it ever did before. The map only has one island on it, the quest we were in the middle of clearing doesnt show in the quest book, the house decorating they added was reset again, and most frustratingly they have added secondary (maybe even more???) items that drop from tool and cleaning nodes, which are ALSO required for the new quests, but have a ridiculously low drop rate so you end up with an entire inventory full of sponges and just 2 incense (or whatever theyre calling it) when you need a max level one. Like we said, we really enjoyed this game originally, but every time we see an update and check in to see how its going, it feels worse and worse. We still like the art (though unhappy with some of the art updates that have been made), and we do like the added house decoration mode (even if its a bit bare bones), but those are the only redeeming qualities right now.
Critter coast actually met our expectations! It is a new game and obviously needs some bug solving, but, over all it is an amazing game. The art, the aesthetics, the characters are just really good. We would like to see more of if added into the game.
This game is so cute and we were super excited, but Im at the cave on the second island and we did all the tasks we could and theres nothing prompting us to go forward? Nothing else we can do, so Im stuck now. Its pretty frustrating and sad, hopefully it unglitches soon.
The graphics and storyline are both great, but the game progression is flawed. It gets frustrating to wait for energy and resources to constantly refill. Got old real fast.

Hey there can you guys please update this game its a really a good game and we want to see more of this game (you guys are the best).
TLDR: You will reach an end point with no more added content. While you can continue to play by fulfilling orders, it achieves nothing but coins, and becomes boring. Bugs only add to the disappointment. We absolutely love this game tbh. Its simple and doesnt require $$$ to play – we HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT SPENDING $$$ ON THIS GAME. The graphics are cute, the mechanisms are clear and smart. We completed all of the available content and continued fulfilling orders to pass our time, but unfortunately the bugs have started to appear. We made it all the way to level 23 before we ran into issues it is clear the developers have given up on this app and it saddens us greatly! ): Once you try to level up to 24, it breaks and takes you all the way back to level 3, showing you halfway to 4. No matter how many stars you match and redeem, you are permanently stuck here. While this doesnt affect MUCH, it does decrease the amount of chests you can earn over time, and that is frustrating. Chests guarantee you coins, gems, and stars – less chests, less opportunity for growth. We have reached out to support with no response. Judging from the last update being over 10 months ago, we are pretty certain this is a dead game. Should they continue to update and add new content, we will be in the front of the line to continue.
So we love this game, lets start with that. The art is adorable and everything is pretty enjoyable! We do wish we had more stamina but Im fine playing it as is. However, we got to an island titled Fort Endeavor. We made our way into a cave and then we suddenly couldnt do anymore. Im not sure if this is a bug or if the game doesnt go any further just yet but we hope this could be clarified.
We wasnt sure what to expect with this game. We had good reviews but the game play is a bit unfamiliar to us. We have really, really enjoyed it. The story is cute, the dialogue has made us laugh a number of times (you throw an unreasonable number of coins down the well ) and it is really enjoyable to develop the main island and surrounding ones. We enjoy the mini games in the caves and shrines. The rewards are very good, and the generators level up pretty easily. We really like that most of the generators are not on the board but in various places around the islands. This game is actually really enjoyable to play and we look forward to opening it and uncovering and developing more. Thank you.
Havent had to spend real money and Im hours in. Ive used in-game currency, but they paced it so Im earning what we need to keep playing pretty easily! We dont have to wait too many times before playing another long session. The art is gorgeous and, despite how little dialogue there is in the grand scheme of things, the characters feel alive. Make sure you also pace yourself though so the little things dont annoy you! Sometimes you have to know when to stop, too.
Ive played quite a few merge games and this one is absolutely our favorite so far. The artstyle is lovely, the story is surprisingly interesting, coming from someone who normally isnt interested in the genre, the characters are all charming but complex in their own right, there are many things we could compliment about this game but the biggest one we can give is that we are struggling to find things to complain about.
We really like this game, and finished all of whats available because of how much we love it! But, like others, Ive hit that wall where we cant get any further and we want to continue! We find the fact that you can walk around and get stuff from the environment really engaging and Id love to see more! Please.
Im at a point in the game where there doesnt appear to be any more travel content, nor do the clouds appear to be able to be moved. Id love to finish clearing our island but we fear this is the end.

We closed the app on the ghost dog island during one of the lantern merge games. We just tried to open it one day and it couldnt get past the loading screen. Its been like this for around a week now. If the devs are seeing this please help we wanna play this game again so bad.
Im at the point in the game where theres no more tasks on our task list and im on the fort endeavor island. We have we reached the end of the game? It says that there are still things to unlock, but we cant. The guy who says he can make that butterfly net for us does not give us the option to get it (?) im confused on what the next step is as it says that there is a Strange Key to get to unlock a part of the cave, but does not tell us where to get it an that we will find it on our adventure. We are super stuck help! If we have reached the end we wish the task list would at least put those tasks that we found on there or at least say more coming soon! Im really am stuck. We feel unsatisfied with a game that we loved playing.
Ive been really enjoying this game but Im currently stuck on the whispering waves island. Its telling us to make a fishing rod, saying it has given us the recipe, yet the game is not showing any materials we need to make it. Anybody know how to make one.
Ive even bought a few things in the app but some missions take way too much energy and it makes us just want to quit playing. The sunshine boxes and trapped goo items are too much and Ive only been playing for a week.
Ive played almost every merge game. We delete most after a day of trying it out because it becomes boring and too difficult. For awhile we absolutely adored this game (wouldve given give stars). The tasks were manageable and we loved having a house that we could decorate. However, we are on level 15 right now and it takes us a couples of days to complete a singular task. We dont mind watching ads to get energy however it stops offering ads after u watch them about six times. We would watch way more ads to get energy. Also, the recharge time on some materials is wayyyyy too long. This results in us not being as motivated to play the game because we only will be on in it for like two minutes merging due to the fact that materials need recharging so quickly. Im debating deleting it now simply for these reasons.
We got this game awhile back and it was really fun its like the one merge game Ive enjoyed, but after going to a few different islands, it just makes us stay on the main island and compete orders over and over. Its not fun anymore :( we just wish there was more.
Ive had this game for about 3 months now and we must say it is quite a lot of fun, and the story is pretty good (and sarcastic lol love it) although it seems a little underdeveloped. The movement is nice, the graphics look great and the characters/island design is super cute. We do wish it was more direct on where you can and cant walk because sometimes it lets you walk through trees and bushes and some you cant. We like the idea of traveling to other islands and helping out the townspeople there but we wish there was a way to go back and see what islands you have been to even if you cant travel back to them, just seeing what you have accomplished makes it feel more fulfilling. Merging inside the backpack is super unique and our favorite part about the game although it can get crowded pretty easily and when we have items that are max level and want to sell them, we feel like Im not getting enough coins for the amount of time and energy it takes to merge it to the max level. We like how you can upgrade the producers to get a better chance of higher leveled items and it helps speed up the merging process if we have multiple high level items we need to progress in the story. We think something that could make the game a little more enjoyable and last longer (we can only play up to 10 minutes at a time before we run out of energy) is if your energy level increased the more you level up. Also have never seen an event in this game until today so am unsure if it was here before but it also gives us more incentive to play although the last rewards besides the 50 gems dont seem worth it since we can do a few taps on our producers and get them. Thank you for making a cute merge game, since they are our favorite kind of game and we do wish you will think about some of the improvements Ive listed.
Dont spend money or rush play for this game. Even when you watch the ads for more energy and other bonuses, you end up finishing the current amount of gameplay in a couple months. We decided to farm additional 100k gold and 1k gems before we stop playing the game. We went up to lvl 24 before encountering a bug that basically reset and freezes our lvl ups. So at best we played for 4 months. Of course the orders end up asking for the same set of resources – ore, stone, silk, tree, grass, clay, seeds. Occasionally asks for honey and nut to make cereal we didnt spend money but did spend a lot of time condensed in the couple months. If we knew how short the game was, we could have just played much more casually and still finish the game in 4 months. Now we wont bother to open the app until the app decides to update with more content and fix our lvl issue.
The game badly needs an update for bug fixes and more content, Im confused why they are no longer supporting it.
We really like this game but we feel like we cant rate it very high considering it allowed us to enter an area we cant leave and now we cant get get to any resources :(.
This game is fun and calming, but out of nowhere our level dropped to 3 and has not changed for a month or more. We reached out for assistance no response after 1.5 weeks.
Been playing for a few weeks and its fun, but definitely pretty broken. Invisible items, broken quests, things appearing when they shouldnt be, it makes the game quite difficult to play. Was hoping that these were just things that would be fixed in a quick update, but seeing that the last update was three months ago makes us think that isnt realistic.
But the game is so cute and the update is definitely worth the lost data :).
Nothing necessarily wrong with the game it functions correctly and doesnt glitch or lag. There is a suggestion or two we have to make the game even better. It would be really cool if we could talk to the npc more, we also think it would be fun and more interactive if we could customize the character we play like buy them outfits or just small things like hats if not customizable character. Then we think a house would be fun we have one but cant enter it or anything. But those are suggestions for making the game more interactive even without those things its a wonderful game its cute and relaxing we do wish we got more of a storyline but maybe Im not far enough for that.
The app is really cute and fun to play. We like how when you leave the game is till going. The only problem we have is waiting for stamina but you dont have to wait that long. The art is adorable and we like the storyline. We do wish there was more storyline but its very fun still.
This has to be the most cutest game we've played so far, the little critteres are so adorable.
