We LOVE THIS GAME. Its challenging but straightforward and uncomplicated. Free but you hardly notice the ads. You arent constantly bombarded with a million challenges/prizes/boosts or any other nonsense. We wish all free games were exactly like this one. 10/10. We never review but this is so good we had to say something. If youre looking for a fun puzzle app that wont drive you insane, its this one. Please never change.
Good game to test your knowledge and your brain adds suck but in all a good game.
Pop up spam during game that wont go away. Closing and reopening app doesnt fix it.
We love playing when we need to relax just to many ads and its sad that you have to pay for the ads to disappear.
Its a fun game passing the time when you are waiting.
This is game is both fun and educational.
Game is fun, kind of repetitive at times. But keeps you intrigued with different words. Adds are relentless. Piece of advice anytime it says keep going or great job exit out of the app and then re open it. Takes less time than the add.

We love this game. But there are too many ads. We dont mind the ads in between puzzles, but we dont like ads during our puzzle.
The interface, gameplay, graphics, the ability to save our progress to Apple ID, EVERYTHING the whole core mechanics of this game is incredible. It is so addicting going through levels and watching our milestones in our profile rack up! Its very fun and addicting!! Please keep this going forever with infinite levels and updates! The best game on the Apple Store that we have played in a long time.

Definitely one of our favorite word games. Ads are not excessive & easy to click out of. Also easy to winbut thats the fun of it.
Great game but we agree that AI cheats. We never get vowels to complete the words that we built. Also the scoring is incorrect. We dont get the bonus five points for using all our tiles, and when we watch the video to get double score for our first two turns, it does t always give us double the score. Please check those features. Aside from those items, we really like the game.
We love this game but way TOO. MANY ADS!!!! Very frustratingIm watching mote ads than we are actually playing..so we uninstalled it.
While we love the game Im not willing to pay for it. Instead, Im going to delete it due to the terribly depressing ads for that game with the sad mother and little girl between every round.
This has been our favorite game for a while. We have played well over 100 games but the more we play the longer and more annoying the ads become. Its to the point now that they wont even close. We hate to give up this game, but we cant fight with the ads.
Good crossword game although disabling WiFi or turning on airplane mode is a MUST to avoid ads. Removing 1 star because the AI opponent should be an optional mode, as it requires other strategies to win, like anticipating its moves and withholding letters to ensure you complete the word. We believe most players simply want to solve the puzzle. The AI opponent does, however, inadvertently provide you with hints as it works to solve the puzzle alongside you, which can be helpful, but can quickly become more annoying than anything as it is programmed to stay within a certain range of your points. It doesnt matter if you play well or not. The opponent will always have the necessary letters to earn the points it needs to stay at a competitive level based on your play. In short, the AI always has access to any letter you currently dont have and can play any of them, as needed, to stay at a certain difficulty level. You will at times feel cheated.
We really like the game but way to many ads.
Fun but way too many ads. We get you can pay for the free version but even for an ad version theres too many. Makes it not even playable.
We were really enjoying the game until we reached passes level 20, and level 20 ads kept popping up ever 2 to 3 seconds making it impossible to play the game. When we would go back to the Home Screen, ads would pop up on the home screen too. We ended up deleting the game because of the overwhelming ads.
This is a fun game but the ads make gameplay extremely frustrating.
Too many ads. Even in the middle of a game.
We dont know why our hard-earned swap pieces disappear. This is the second time and Im not doing anything to warrant it. We just had 35, and now logging on it was black, so we touched the icon, as if to use them and they reappeared. When the new game board loaded they were gone. We still have no contact other than the automatic one that says theyll contact us soon. Not sure Ill continue playing as it seems to be set up this way and Im on level 1240.
Score really high and then app goes black and stays that way for days. Have to delete and start all over again. Pain app.
We have been playing this game for several months and we really like it. We never write a review but im getting mad at the ads. While Im playing an ad will pop up. We close it it pops right back up. We close out and go in, start playing same thing happens!! Can we please fix this? We really dont want to delete it but if it keeps up we will.
Its not 100% free AND OR WITH no annoying ads. You have to pay to have no annoying ads.
We love this game and would give a solid 5 star if it werent for the ads. We dont mind an add before or after each game. But we have them pop up in the middle of the game, before and after as well as consistently while trying to move a letter. The more we play the more ads pop up. Very frustrating.
Love the game but by level 5 your getting apps interrupting mid game play. Thats bs. At least wait till we finish the level to ply an ad. Not mid game play ! You can do better crossword go ! That is the number reason to lose gamers.
The game is fun, but the more you play the more ads you get interrupting you. It gets to the point you see an ad every couple of moves, absolutely ridiculous. The use of Ai image generation also impacts our enjoyment of the game. Use some stock photos or commission an artist.

Ads are in the middle of the game. After some levels 2 ads per game. Made impossible to concentrate! Sorry, uninstalling.
Why isnt this review being posted? We have clicked submit twice and it is not showing up on the app. The game itself is fun. Challenging, but not impossible. But the ads!!!! We have to close the app and re-open to get them to stop popping up. And watching them doesnt work. It just replays the same 5 second clip over and over. We won 5 min ad free for our daily reward and spent the five minutes watching an ad. Developers really need to figure out this glitch and fix it. Definitely making the game more frustrating than fun.
The clues are to small to make out for this senior.
We really like this game, its been fun to play. We do wish there was a different version or option where we could complete the crossword by ourselves without playing against the computer. We find ourselves knowing the answer and getting frustrated we dont have the letters to complete the word and then the computer does it and gets the points.
Ads are to long. At least put a timer so one can see how much longer they have to wait.

We love this game and wish we could connect it to our apple Game Center so we can play it on any of our devices without having to restart on each device.

There are a lot of ads, which isnt a huge problem, but in the middle of a puzzle the game will glitch and close or it will open another one of our apps, like our indeed app. Which is very odd to us.
We like the game but it does cheat and we hate how you can see the title/subject of the game until their is a winner. Ugh.
Seems every letter we submit is followed by an ad. Hate that.
The game doesnt even give you letters that relate to the one youre building, nor does it give you the the letters to the juntas that are easier to solve, so you have to hold onto the letters you know the AI has or the game just wont give you till the end (if the AI doesnt get them) just to win, let alone for three stars.
This game came up while we were playing a different game. One thing that got us to try it was it said no ads, so we downloaded it. The game itself is fun and somewhat challenging and there were no ads at first. NOW the ads are fast and furious- they come in the middle of your play! Nope.
We enjoy the game but sometimes the clues make no sense and sometimes the answers make no sense. Since when do clams make pearls? A polo is not a type of tshirt.
