Ive been looking for Cryptograms. We finally found a good one.
Its a great app to exercise your brain. However, there is a very annoying bug or virus that pops up trying to trick you into opening TikTok which will cause you to get strikes/mistakes. Be careful not to accidentally give permission. Programmers, please fix this annoying problem for a well deserved 5.
Fun game but after the first few levels, you will get an ad at the end of every puzzle and before each new puzzle (so yes essentially back to back on either side of the points/reward screen). Plus the usual requirement to watch an ad just to restart the level if needed.
They advertise no annoying ads but after a day or two, the ads start up.
The ads are absolutely awful and last forever. There are so many other similar apps that are way less annoying. We deleted after 2 days it was so bad.
We have always loved to solve cryptograms . We love this game we give it an A plus.
When you have to pay for a game, he should not have to watch ads. The ads are very long and frequent.
Just started playing this game & so far it is challenging but fun.
The only downside is the long ads that play as soon as you finish a puzzle. Can you give us the option to purchase an Ad Free Version.
Really fun game but ads playing take way more time than actual game play.
Dont get us wrong, we love playing this game, however, the little arrows and xs on the ads dont work. And if you close out of the app b4 finishing the add, it resets your puzzle and you have to start over. We even paid the $9.99 for no ads. Please fix this and make the arrows and xs bigger to fit normal peoples fingers.
We thoroughly love reading and word games, and this is a simple, old school, combination where we get the best of both worlds.
We love this game! Challenging and informative. We only wish it hadnt crashed and froze. Now we have to start all over. Well we still love and enjoy it and hopefully it wont freeze again.
We love the game but it has frozen on us three times, from one game application that we dont want. We have bought coins and now lost them three times. If it does it again we will delete this game.
We can mostly tolerate the ads after each level, but, BEFORE each level also is too much! Not only are there 2 ads between levels, a lot of the ads are freezing the game, forcing us to close it and restart it. Goodbye! Deleted.
We downloaded this game because it said no ads thenafter playing The ads started.
We love to do Crytograms but during the game it jumps to our Virus Protection on the website and it starts scanning for a virus. Do know if it actually trying to install a virus or if its just a glitch in the App.
We love this game but it crashes every time we play it! Please fix this bug.
How good is this. Exactly good.
After using this app for a while, it automatically started bringing up web pages that was not initiated by us. We would close our browser before they loaded. Then while using, it started opening a web page that stated it was scanning this device. We closed our browser, restarted our device, then deleted the app. Thats really sad because we were enjoying this app every day. We have never experienced this situation before where the security of our device was at risk. We will never use again.
We like this game but it often quits on us. Hope you can improve the performance.

We have loved doing cryptograms for over 50 years , from the Philadelphia Inquirer, to The Philly Daily News, but none has been more rewarding then the The Simple Cryptogram . Working the game has really helped our memory a lot!! Great game.
We enjoy solving these puzzles, however, whenever ever we use one heart to revive, it erases all of our progress on the puzzle. And that is not what the icon shows when you press on it. Its frustrating. We thought this was a one time happening, but now it has happened more than once. If you cannot use a heart to revive without losing the puzzle, what is the purpose of having hearts? UPDATE: we still enjoy solving these puzzles, however, a one minute ad for a wrong guess on a letter is really excessive! We will not yet delete but if it continues, we will be deleting it. We really hope the developer reads these reviews and reacts to them.
