Im really enjoying the challenge of each game. Not sure what to do if we cant finish a game tho.
Love the puzzles and how they are challenging. But too many points to find out what letters are not correct.
We like the puzzles but there should be an option to show mistakes without points.
Easy to navigate the puzzles. Just too many ads every time you update a screen.
Too many adds but other than that we love it!
Most of the ads are much too long. We know a free app is going to have ads, buts we have not encountered ads as long as most of this apps on ant other free apps we play. It is annoying! We deleted this app.
The clues can be fun to think about, but the puzzles mainly reuse the same words to fill out the games and it’s really a let down since the fresh words are more satisfying than with other crossword games. Words that are in the puzzle just about every day: Ore Era Eel ETA Try Ice Eat She/her Eye/eyed/eyes Are Any Wee Arc Awe End/s On a recent puzzle the answer included "eye" being perpendicular with "eyes."
Its a fun way to kill some time. But there are errors in the game (typos, wrong answers, etc). And dont waste your money trying the no ads offer. It blocks all ads, but that means you literally cant play the game!
What happened to the really small puzzles? When we tap on this now all we get is large puzzles.
Pretty funny how the game glitches out when its on a puzzle that you can earn coin in. The easy puzzles that you dont earn coin in work fine. We’ve had three puzzles open and finished that says something is wrong and they wont complete and spent the hard to get coin to even check them and they just add random letters where you have to go and replace them with the letters that you had previously and still doesnt complete. They are just hoping youll just keep using the hints that cost coin until you have to buy coin. Theres better crosswords out there. We dont believe half of these reviews. Probably from the team that created the app.
They hijack the play and ruin the game. We expected to have ads with a free app, but not with how many ads are on this. We hate it! Im spending a one time $5 for the Dell/Penny crossword app.
The hints are poor at best, the ads are out of control, and the interface is lackluster.
Best crossword app. Entertaining and challenging. Offers great ways to earn points as a free app too.

Too difficult to play on an iPhone too many redundant ads!
When we get free letters this game throws out, most of the time the letters are wrong and wont let us delete!! We know a container top is a LID we spelled it.. Not hard.. This game threw out new letters and made the ones we spelled RIGHT be WRONG This happens all the time! And it wont let us delete the wrong letters that THIS game threw out!
Way way way way to many ads. Not fun since you spend all your time watching ads.
Loved it till the banner came up to cover part of the keyboard. And would not go away.
The majority of the words used to solve the puzzles make NO SENSE, and most are in fact the wrong word for the hint. Unless youre wanting an aneurism while playing a word game, stay away from this one.

Today is the first time we played and loving it. It gets you thinking sometimes.
We would like to choose more free letters for help. Also, when we’ve entered the last letter that solves whole puzzle, it immediately goes away & we cant see the answers that answered some of the questions. We hope that makes sense.
This is a pretty good game. Ads arent too long or annoying. We would give this 5 stars but our biggest complaint is that sometimes the answer is 2 words and the clue doesnt tell you that, so you end up spending coins on one word that would have been obvious had you been told you were looking for 2 words. Some might find it annoying that they use the same 3 letter words in many of their puzzles, but we look at those like free hints.
Keeps freezing randomly ( new iPad), sometimes wrong letter locks in place and app wont let you replace or backspace to correct it. You need a reset button or someway to reset and start the puzzle over again.
Fix your hint buttons. We dont even tap them and they are spending our money for hints. PLEASE FIX !!!!!!!!
Constant ads. Not worth the frustration. We hate this app.
This was a good app until their last update. Lots of issues after that. Plus we had to try about 100 nicknames (required) to leave a review.
The puzzles themselves are fine. But the ads are horrible.
Geez.. Talk about click bait. Watch a video to earn a puzzle Except, after you watch the video, click the x or reward granted x . The puzzle closes out. When you restart the puzzle, the entire charade starts again and guess what? No new puzzle for you. SUCKER. Waist of time.
This is our second download of this game. We ran out of games the first time so we reloaded it. The only thing we miss are the tournaments. Also, we do have to admit that some of the clues are very obscure.
To many ads better if you could play at least 3 times before an ad.
We really like the puzzles. Keep hoping for harder midi levels. (I can do without the minis). Functionally easy to use, but wish it were more streamlined like the NYTimes crosswords. Try the NYT crosswords, even the minis, and youll see what we mean.
We have had this downloaded since March. Since 2 weeks ago we cant play the journey games anymore. We try to click on the 1 to start it and it does nothing. Was our favorite part of the app.
These puzzles are most certainly written by a ESL. Too many typos in the puzzles. Probably just a cash grab on the companies part.
Dont get us wrong we enjoy this game a lot. Our problem is now we have to sit through ads that are blatantly in your face biased politically? Political ads have no place in gaming in every gamers eyes no matter what you affiliate yourself with. And before you say its cuz its calling us MAGA people extremists of course thats the reason! Even if it was calling the other side extremists Id be saying the same thing here cuz its political ad. We as a gamer do not want to see that crap in our games. We dont care for being called extremist on our games as well seeing that word comes from unintelligent people who listen too much to news programs which come from unintelligent people who dont know their jobs. Honestly if something bad is being said on any side of the aisle we have an issue with it since it divides people. Division between fellow people in the country we live in is unwelcome. We will see how many we can sit thru before we uninstall or hopefully see those kinds of ads taken down. We enjoy this game so we really hope to see those gone.
Every time we try to complete a journey the game freezes up and we cant complete it. Then the same journey shows up the next Saturday. Also, Im not getting free daily games anymore. The only way we can play at all is to use coins to get a pack. We have updated the app and it doesnt fix the problem.
We love the crosswords but way to many interruptions! Just tell us the price of the game and let us pay it ! Ii always delete if there are all this hidden crap!

Overall, a fun game. As with any puzzle, some of the clues & answers are different.
The clues are fine if a little too cryptic, and the word choices are okay. Our biggest qualm is that it doesnt tell you if there are multiple words or a hyphen most of the time. To us, this is a given when writing a puzzle, and its infuriating to be without it.
Once youve done about 20 youve done them all.
Having to watch an add after every puzzle is a bit much. The clues to the words are also not always very clear.
Great crossword puzzle app. However we’ve noticed a typo in every puzzle we’ve done.
It worked great for a couple days, then full screen ads took over. Couldnt find the close buttons. Tried reinstalling it. Worked the first time again the full screen ad with no close button. Dont believe all the good reviews.
If you like watching numerous ads, rather playing puzzles, this is the app for you. Many times, the ads will not close upon completion. Therefore, you have to reset your phone in order to get rid them.
