It looks like a great game, but it keeps crashing after meeting the first character.
Crashes shortly after first character encounter, making the game unplayable. No workaround avail. Please fix and we will change our rating. Am running ios 10 on 3rd gen ipad. 5/22/20: update did not address crash issue. Feel disappointed and misled now that they’ve lowered age rating.
Very good quality. Music and voice acting are . Several hours in & enjoying a fun, simple, relaxing adventure. Cons, the battle sequences feel irrelevant & its not clear whats happening in some of them. Theres quit a bit thats cringy where the women characters are concerned.
Hey pixel fade we have played Ace academy on android no playing Crystalline on the iPod and we are running to this problem that both games close off and every time we try to go back and continue the story it does it again so can you please fix the problem thanks.
We were skeptical of these visual novels until stumbled upon this hidden gem. The story was interesting, memorable characters, hilarious moments, and sweet romance moments. The art work is amazing and with the detail of the scenery makes the story more immersive. Although at times some of the decisions feel like it wouldnt have made a difference or just refuses to do one of your decisions but the funny comments and having fun with some of the ridiculous comments is worth while. We only wanted to give this a 4 star cause we really didnt want it to end and wanted a sequel. We really hope to see some more of this in the future and we implore others to check this visual novel out.
Crystalline starts off as a great Isekai,then proceeds to become an adventure you would kill to take. Filled with wonderful characters who go through so much, visuals that can set the scene perfectly, background music that can make you feel so many emotions, from the lovely and beautiful Longing to a serious, yet inspiring Steps Toward Valor, and yes, even a sad, tear inducing Hardships Within. You will fall in love with pretty much everything in this game, and will want to play again to discover each ending.
We dont usually write reviews but this masterpiece has compelled us to do so. After playing Ace Academy (and its sequel) we thought we would never find another Visual Novel that we would ever click with to that degree but our God we were wrong. We never thought a game would get us so immersed to the point that when it ended, we would be left in tears wishing it hadnt ended. We genuinely got so connect with each character it felt like we were really on the journey with them. We can say with all honesty that this game along with Ace Academy will have a special place in our heart. Thank you all for such a genuinely great experience and cant wait for your upcoming works!
Such a heart warming tale with very funny mature references. Not sure why the rating is MA-17. Please let there be a sequel to this or continue to make more visual novels similar. Great art work, nice voices and intriguing story line. An option for a photo gallery would have been a nice touch to reflect on some of the story parts and an ending replay counter to see how many endings you can keep track of. Awesome work and we look forward to more!
The story is AMAZING! And we love all the choices you make in it. We just wish after you completed the main story you could restart and try and fall in Love with the other Characters.
We feel like theirs still a story to continue after the true ending and even when you true to go back to earth, we want to see earth be in danger or something, we would like to our character,s family friends, etc. We think you get what Im saying to a degree. So Im hoping and praying that theirs a way for a second game to be made.
Own this through steam and bought again on our iPad just to give you an idea of how much we want to support these developers. Doesnt fit quite right on the iPad Pro but that doesnt diminish the games quality in the slightest. Thanks, PixelFade~ Keep up the good work!
This is an amazing game and totally worth it though the thing is that its crashing when we make certain decisions dont know why so we are not going to rate a 5 star when thats a problem we keep having.
A hilarious game that doesnt punish you for picking the ridiculous responses and we had to come give it the 5 stars when we got to the breaking bad content although we were already sold when you get to say do you even lift bro within the first few minutes of the game. There are negatives the white bar on recent versions of iPhone/iOS directly overlaps with the text and the menu which is annoying. Also you cant save during a choice, but you can save before you get to one which is annoying. And you cant go backwards, you can only look at a log. So its a little annoying if you want to try a different choice that you cant really do that if you didnt guess when to save. That being said, the dialogue is so funny that Im giving it 5 stars anyway!

We were very impressed with this game and felt the need to leave this review. It is a visual novel with some mini games, and the story is great. Surprisingly, it is fully voiced, even minor characters, and has several endings providing impetus to play multiple times.
Unfortunately it crashes now.. It didnt before. We have got to the part of the fire temple, we saved and closed the app. Went to play it where we left off and the novel keeps crashing at the title screen now. 5 stars for the experience, -2 for the glitch that will probably reset our entire progress.

Its such an amazing story, its lasts awhile, and its so immersive with the music and mini-games. We love it and will definitely have multiple playthroughs!!
