We are trying to play these in order. Case 23 was the best episode yet! Each chapter has different puzzles. Lots of fun! So creative and exciting to play. Always full of surprises!

We’ve played this Rusty Lake series game following the timeline! This is the best one so far!

We like the game so much, expecially the philosophy thinking included. HOPE the next series will coming soonerLove ya~

Such a great episode. This one was a bitty more puzzling than the others. We love the timed challenge at the last chapter, it got us on the edge of our seats. Rustly lake never failed to amaze us!

Im having a bit of a problem, so when we saw the walkthrough, theres supposed to be a bug on the ceiling and you have to iron it to get a key but Im playing the game rn and we dont see any bug AT ALL.

We love all of the rusty lake games. This one is one of the easier ones we think and so much fun and entertaining.

We are a jumpy person, we’ll admit. We loved playing Birthday and Arles, though in Birthday we had to pull myself together after some parts, but we just cannot do scary things. We got to chapter 4, right after the deer gets decapitated and then the deer-person appears, and we refused to continue. We were playing this at 8 in the morning, there’s nothing to worry about at 8 in the morning, and yet we deleted the game and refuse to play it again. We LOVE these games, but we’ll have to come back to this one.

This is one of our favorite releases of the cube escape series, but every time we get to chapter three, the app starts lagging. Most of the time it will crash, and won’t work until we reset our progress. Otherwise, great game, would recommend it.

This was a great game for the first 3 chapters. Im guessing the devs dont want us to spend too much time on chapter 4 since its timed and just kept kicking us out. We dont buy a game to be rushed through it. Four stars for three great chapters. We guess Ill never know how it ends.

So we finished the game after months (thank you walkthrough lol) and at the end Im just like Jesus, that was scary.

We love it! The Cube Escape series is soooo good! Its full of mystery, intrigue, murder (but not to dark), and logic. We really like this and we’ve solved all of the other games, but, It took us sooooo long to solve the sliding painting puzzle on level three. We think your games are great but if you could make that a little bit easier it would be even better!! Thanks! Have a great day!

So weird! These games are amazingly well put together. SPOILER The last room being was a bit frazzling, but we were able to complete it on our third try. Not too bad considering we didnt realize it was times until we were dead on the first try. The weird penis drawings on the walls was unnerving. All in all, great game! We push on with the next game Im the series.

Definitely one of our favorite mobile games ever, but the slide puzzle was terrible lol. The best part at least for us was chapter 4, we loved that you brought it back to the lake. The game also just gives a feeling of dread and that you know something bad will or has already happened, like in seasons. We recommend this to anyone and everyone.

The first time trial run with that last level. Creepy and intense . Well done.

These cube escapes just keep getting better. Case 23, with its 4 chapters, combines several elements from the previous four games. Each scenario is so unique, we feel like we’ve actually played four games in one. We dont always understand the exact logic of the storyline, but the characters and actions are so horrifically captivating that we find myself smiling as we wonder what bizarrely gross thing will be jumping out at us next. And the puzzles are simply fun to solve; not every items implementation always makes complete sense, but there always seems to be a strangely intuitive logic about their use. We were a little put off at first by the fourth chapters timer, but a few passes paying specific attention to individual parts and we managed to get it with a surprising level of satisfaction. These cube escape games are absolutely some of the uniquely best ones we’ve played, an even bigger feat considering how little space they take up. We cant wait to see what weird twist comes in the next installment.

We put black cube click the wall till it cracks then we press the torches with oil left right left left right right but nothing happens smh we are so angry what am we supposed to do.

To anyone reading this, just flipping install this if youre looking for a good puzzle game. Its Heckin good.

The ending scared the hell out of us!!!

Case 23 definitely brings a whole lot more story into the mix of these games. We have been playing there games in order (plus paradox) and so far (other than paradox) this one is our favorite. On top of the storyline we also was very pleased by the mechanics and altogether design of this game even if it might have seemed a bit easier than others. But our favorite part of this is (((spoiler))) the thrill of the last chapter. Even though we are one who really enjoys horror this honestly made us panic because we honestly was always just to slow. Which is sadly something a lot of games dont bring. But we could totally understand if this is not ones cup of tea.

We’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. Theyre worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. We cant wait for more chapters to be released!

One of the better escape series on the App Store. P.S. In chapter 3 the shell is spelled shelf; we didnt know if that was an intentional way to shorten the word shellfish or not.

Wow, just wow. We’ve never written a review before but this series deserves one. We started off playing Samsara Room during quarantine and after we beat it, we looked up more of Rusty Lakes games. We found the cube escape series and have been playing them in order. The detail in these games amaze us and its so fun to see everything connected in someway. As someone who enjoys scary games and such, we can say this is an enjoyable series. Case 23 actually made be jump the most! (But in a good way.) Props to the creators and we shall enjoy playing the rest of the series.

Have to say we’ve played a lot of these games from rusty lake and its so nice that theyre so many free ones. Gets you hooked and now we’ve been buying the others to support their work. Thanks to the crew at rusty lake for the entertainment.

We loved this. We have never played a game by them, ever. Extremely thought provoking and makes you consider other worldly ideas. We are hooked.

Best one ever, super challenging without driving you to frustration.

Minor spoilers we started the Cube Escape series last week by randomly by searching for a puzzle game and found The Cave. We loved it so much that we downloaded all the free ones and have been playing them in order. This is the first review of these games for us. Case 23 came very easy to us to solve the puzzles (maybe because Im getting the hang of it?) and the slider games were cake for us. Personally, its our favorite because we liked the build up with the suspense with the limited-time portion. We can see why some people are not a fan of that, especially those with disabilities. Still, overall, we think theres ample time to complete for most people. Ill play these games during the day, but we really enjoy playing at night, in the dark for optimum creep factor, and boy am we glad we were doing just that with this one! Ill be moving on to The Mill tomorrow. We like that they developed the hint system in The Cave (maybe sooner, but remember, we’ve only played through Case 23 AND The Cave). Now Im considering buying the Premium ones once we finish the free ones.

And thoroughly enjoyable, but our first time knocking a star on two points. The first is a highly personal preference, but this gal loathes slider games. When we saw one coming, tummy did a flip. And second, while the timed element didnt prove TOO exhausting, it did seem out of place and a little jarring in the Cube Escape world. We still highly recommend, but if the greatest are limited to 5 stars , then we must as we must.

We hate Chapter 4 because Im never quick enough. We hate time limits. Other chapters are just perfect as other rusty lake games.

We love these games. Theyre a little macabre, well maybe a lot macabre. The puzzles are challenging and force you to look hard at each room. So addicting, the reason we didnt give them a 5 star if we would like to see a little hint feature built in. To stop and watch a walkthrough gives a little to much away. Keep on writing these wonderful games.

Overall, its a good game. Im stuck on the recovering memories part. We’ve watched the walkthrough video. We cant get the water to drain. It keeps us from moving forward. We dont know how to reset the puzzle to start over. Im just stuck. We’ve tipped the glass with water in it, and pressed the button to drain it. The drain opens and closes quickly. Nothing. What to do?

One of the coolest Rusty Lake escapes. But the last level built on speed ruins it. This is just not from this universe. The Rusty Lake games always been built on thinking, not on the monkey typing.

More animal violence and stage 4 is beyond obnoxious. The timed level made us hate the whole series. Too frustrating. And enough with the destruction of animals ffs. That’s not entertainment for any decent human being. PS The slide puzzles need to go as well. Another reason to despise this game.

The challenge is real, but completely doable! Unlike a lot of other escape games, this series doesnt emphasize on ambiguous clues and objects. Everything is pretty much clear cut, still a healthy dose of luck is needed if you wanna complete fast. Thanks a lot for developing such a great game!

Our dad always finishes the games but we still enjoy playing it.

We really like these games. Every now and then we just cant figure out what is next, but the clues are there if you can figure it out.

Last week our friend introduced us to these games, and we’ve finished all of them! We love the story, the puzzles, the quirky characters, and the art style (the art style is goals). The last chapter is on a time limit, and while thats not really our favorite thing in games, you implemented it in a way that still made it fun and engaging. 11/10. We’ve played all of the games (including the premiums) several times over. Keep up the good work!

Case 23 is the best Cube Escape so far. It has different levels like Seasons did but its more interactive and has new additions such as the limited time. It was difficult in some areas but not too difficult to get through. The storyline was amazing as usual but the fact that there was a little backstory on the player was a very nice touch. Fantastic job.

We found out about Rusty Lake by chance and have been endlessly intrigued ever since. The illustrations and animations are very Edward Goreyesque, beautifully morbid, cohesive and a lot of fun to play. The puzzles are challenging and Im so glad there are so many different games to play! Keep up the great work!

We LOVE these games! Shout outs to the developers, fo sho!

The rusty lake games are some of the finest, weirdest puzzle/adventure games we’ve played in the 21st century. Get these all — particularly the premium ones, which for 3 bucks or something, have unbelievable depth of play — and devour them.

We loved the first three rooms of this game. They were clever and extremely well-designed and creepy. Rusty Lake has become one of our favorite game series because of their intriguing atmospheric puzzles! This one was no different, but the fourth room was a bit disappointing. Granted, its only 1/4th of the game, but we felt too rushed by the timer to take in the atmosphere that Rusty Lake is so good at creating. Im not too great at doing things fast either, so we had to watch the walkthrough to make it in time, which felt like a defeat. It wouldve been nice to go into the room and figure out all the puzzles first, then flip a switch to start the timer and finish the puzzles in that time in order to proceed to the cutscene. We very much hope that they continue making the games awesome and fun without the use of timers. Anyone who likes logic puzzles would love this game!

It stuck at chapter 4. It says it was too late that we have another chance but when click the play again, it says the same thing! Ill update our review after the update.

We really liked the game. Its interesting, challenging, and really makes you think. The only problem is that on the last chapter, after we failed twice to complete the puzzle on time, it did not let us continue the game. Please fix that.

No more for us. If we wanted a timed arcade game, that is what we would get. Just glad this one was free. Definitely not going to pay for any if this is the approach they are now going to take.
