We started on one of this devs later games and am hooked. Time to play them all.

So we love escape games and this is incredible.
Like most games we download theres too much horror or not enough this game balance is it this is why we love it. We had to download all of them. And the mysteries unlike lots of games this game mysteries are not boring.
As you can see the title, mind blown. This was a perfect game to take our mind off of things. We love how you have to fish for the items, by the way we love these kinds of games like puzzles or riddles and escaping and so this was just perfect . We tried downloading all of the cube escape games and we hope we have them all because we downloaded a lot. (except for any that costs money.) we think that over all the other games Ive played, rusty lake is the best.
Ok great game but we just got the mold and we can't unlock the box that says "remember the seasons" it doesn't make any sense plz help.
We found this randomly downloaded on our phone we dont know how it was downloaded but we decided to play it instead of deleting it and it was the best idea ever Im really interested in this game its short we wish there was more.
So we are obsessed with this game!!! Its great for people that love puzzles like us!!! And we love the jump scares that alway lead you in more its so fun and we love it so much.

Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When we start one, we cant put it down until we finish. Im glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though we try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. We prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logicd. Thank you, we cant wait for another one. We wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, we really enjoyed going back for more.

This is very impressive game we have need played again! Crazy, we thought we would figure it out without hints and then beat this game. Like short time.
We have been amazed with the design and thought that went into each Rusty Lake game. It seems silly to call it a game as it has you thinking and feeling and always wanting the next one to come out when youve completed one.
This game was not only short, but eerie and interesting. Puzzles using creepy, eerie themes made the game more fun. The one thing is the rating is correct. 12+ because the game uses very… Gory themes. Blood, body parts, and overall things we wouldnt recommend for you 7 year old. Other than that, this is an amazing short, eerie, interesting game.
Im currently playing through the whole series of these. This is the shortest Ive come across so far (out of seasons, theater, cave, samsara room). We found it to be fun and challenging. We probably would have rated this five star, were we not comparing to the others, which have all been lengthy and amazing! Still a great game.

Ive played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. Theyre worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. We cant wait for more chapters to be released.
We liked it it had somethings we wasnt expecting in the game but it was good.
We dont normally do reviews, but after deciding to play through every one of the cube escape and we might as well speak our mind. As the first in the series it lacks depth, but it still contains the mystery and horror elements these games are giving us. Great game great start great series.
We dont really rate games often, but we have to in this circumstance. Every single one of these Rusty Lake games we have purchased has been incredible. These games are complex, beautifully done, and so much fun. They really get you thinking, but arent too hard to solve. There is no timer, no consequences for wrong guesses- just beautiful stories with great imagery. No ads or anything. We adore supporting this company for the fact that their games are just incredible. We highly HIGHLY recommend any game made by Rusty Lake.

Cool because we like Rusty Lake. A little short, though. 10 minute completion was a let down but still worth it bc it's Rusty Lake. On to the next one.
The Escape Cube series are underrated gems buried under cookie cutter games flooding the app store everyday. The story keeps you hooked with a Twin Peaks vibe as well as interesting puzzles that make you bend your brain a bit till you to get familiar with the Escape Cube/Rusty Lake mechanics. One of our favorite series now would recommend the premium series such as Rusty Lake Hotel as well as Rusty Lake roots. We havent tried the newer releases yet but plan on marathoning since Ive found out today their planning a newer release hopefully soon. Hope they get more support and keep up with the amazing gameplay and plot.
Very interesting game. We love the abstract, concepts and connections. Pretty creepy content but its cartoon so that tones things down. Im getting pretty hooked on these Rusty Lake games. We should be asleep but we cant stop playing. Theyre really good.
What an interesting, albeit, short little game. We like that it builds on the previous one, and we assume the others will do the same. The continuity creates a bit of intrigue, so you look forward to the next chapter. Our only problem was the second puzzle box- we were on the right track but couldnt make the connection, but after a glance at the walkthrough, we understood what it meant. Actually pretty clever, if not slightly abstract. Hopefully by the third game Ill have a better feel for how this dev thinks and maybe have a better edge on solving their puzzles. Looking forward to playing the next one- we have a feeling Ill be playing them all.
Huge fan, but The Lake is too short.
We like the whole series of adventures in cube escape, especially paradox and birthday. But to be frank, the lake is just too simple to be qualified as the others. Its fun but just not as good as others. We would still recommend cube escape fans to try it but just to say that 5 stars might be an overestimate.
We enjoyed Seasons so was excited to play Lake. That is, until a frustrating curveball near the end. The game asks you to EXIT the game (in itself distracting) to find a code from its sister game. For which, in Seasons, there are not only 4 versions to flip through and many possible codes, but unless you RESET the Seasons game the clue is impossible to discern. We threw our hands up at that point. This trick felt unnecessary we love puzzles (why else play?) but this one felt like a promotional gimmick and out of the games character.
We started playing a Rusty Lake games well over a year ago & loved them so much that in a short period we had bought every one they made. After completing them deleting them, we explored other point &click adventure developers. After a year we decided to re download many of the games and have been shockingly disappointed that most of the Cube Escape games now have cheesy and annoying ads that come up when you click on the setting icon (the cog or gear sprocket). Shame on you guys. If you need more $$ for you apps, start charging more, but dont allow advertisers to put their garbage on a game that was already paid for a lonnngggg time ago.
We downloaded this game. Played it, and thought to ourselves. Im not gonna play this again just because we already did.. We go to try and delete the game but for some reason it doesnt delete nor does it allow us to try and play it now when we tap on the app. Long story short we need to call someone tomorrow to figure out how to uninstall this app.
He worst game. Its nothing but ads. We launched the app, pressed the configure icon, and ads pop up. Without even playing the game yet!!! What a joke and waste of time downloading this garbage.
No bugs noted when we played unlike some reviews. This may be our favorite one out of six games of Rusty Lake we have played thus far. Just found out about this today and we have binge played six of their games. Some series and certainly more difficult than the others. Seasons is intricately done, The Lake, the Mill, and Birthday are amazing. Overall an intriguing game.
Ok. So Im playing cube escape the lake. The game is fun and Im giving it 5 stars. However can someone help us? Im at the part where you place the symbols on the tree that grew out of the table. We have 5 symbols. We have an apple, a shrimp shell, something that looks like a wheel and two diamonds. One blue and one green. However when we place the symbols on the tree it doesnt work. We have the diagram to see what order to place them but it seems like we have a wrong symbol. Is that possible? When we watched the walkthrough it did not have two diamonds. It showed one diamond and something else. Am we missing a symbol that we cant find? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks. FC.

The game so far is super cool, we love the art style. However, we cant figure out the mirror box puzzle. Any advice.
We preferred this to Seasons. A little simpler, but some scary surprises and one particularly clever puzzle. Well done. Only took a star off because it was short.
It was good. The gameplay was simple and intriguing but it was very short. We finished it in less than five minutes while Seasons took us a lot longer. We like that it gives slight hints about Seasons but it couldve been a bit longer. Good game though.
Lots of fun, not nearly as long or as difficult as the first episode but still probably awesome.
