Ok so since this takes place during the same time period as case 23, right? But in C23 Chapter 2 intro, it time skips by many months also it is weirdly synced with the original game. Anyways where does Laura go after weirdly teleporting away in the ending? Also do the cubes the same in this as in the cave, we can only be sure. Plus, why is aldous mouth stitched up in the picture in the house, why did he do that? If you say its so he doesnt expose his true form because in C23 we cut it off and now boom Mr crow well no because we already know he can control his form to an extent (something else Im confused about) but if so why didnt he cut it off so he could talk?!?! Anyways 5 stars really good.
During the end of the game we wasnt able to put the cubes into the mill for some reason but besides that we love this game.
This game is amazing we did have a little trouble at the start. We 100 percent recommend rusty lake games if youll like a little challenge.

Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When we start one, we cant put it down until we finish. Im glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though we try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. We prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logicd. Thank you, we cant wait for another one. We wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, we really enjoyed going back for more.
This game was so unique, and fun to play.
Ive played almost all of the rusty lake cube escape games now, and the endings just get weirder and weirder! The puzzles are very well thought out. We love that the codes and clues build on each other from game to game. Play these in order for the best, most immersive experience.
It is seen that much work has been put into this amazing piece which is why we are giving five stars. Rusty Lake is a VERY interesting game series. We got intrigued the first time we played, and we are sure you will be too! Keep in mind these games are a bit scary with blood, death, and dark spirit-like things. So if you like a good spook this is good for you! If you get scared with the following please for your well being stay away… So yes, this is an amazing game… For some, it really depends. The Mill is a great game. Its challenging, sometimes frustrating, and compelling. We love the artwork, the creepiness, and the story. Really, we just love this whole series. Please keep making games!! Im here for it.

Why is the walk through video not working.
Ive played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. Theyre worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. We cant wait for more chapters to be released.
New characters, new information, new location, its all coming together. Not our favorite so far but definitely similar to the fifth installment in its final horror elements. It felt a bit smaller, but the 3 floors makes up for that. Cant wait to see what else the bird gentlemen are up to.
Ive just about played all the cube escapes (minus the paid ones), but we can hands down say that these games are our favorite. We pretty much binge played them all! We love the kind of horror thats put into them. We love that they are all connected to each other. Just hands down the best games. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Wow this game is so good we really recommend if youre into escape games or if youre into any mysterious series this is a really good series we recommend you to play all of the games.
We didnt want to stop until we were done. The story line was great. Having three floors to discover kept us riveted.
This was such a great game. Im finally seeing some of the pieces from the first five really come together in this one. It seemed somehow a little easier to us than the other ones, but it is perhaps the most interesting of them so far. So much is going on in the story with three floors to explore, some nicely intuitive puzzles to solve, and a few previous characters finally converging. We still dont quite understand it all, but Im starting to feel like Im in the middle of something unpredictably sinister, which, in this case, is a good thing. Also, there are a couple of icky things youre required to do, not to mention some rather gruesome sights that had us somewhere between giggling and gasping. These games are so well made that no matter what horribly bizarre thing is taking place, it just seems kind of natural after about the fifth game or so (is that demented?). Anyway, the thought of downloading the next one almost makes our pulse quicken a little, as Im sure theres more Oh our gosh! On the way.
This entire game series and story are amazing. Each game has its stand alone style and this one we think is our favorite. Not only does it have great puzzles but really cool ways to find out more into the story.

The Mill really expanded the RL world for us…and yet, the mind reels. Chock-full of dee-lightful and unusual puzzles (many get us chuckling, which then get us looks from passing strangers), and those graphics that are second to none – disturbing and discomforting in their sketchbook restraint.
This game was sooo fun and barely any adds like 2 but the only thing we didnt like was it was so short like we finished the game in like half an hour, its super fun to try to think like, what do we do now? It was super fun but short thanks for the game tho.
We have been stuck on the part with milking the cow for so long that we had to look up a code.it showed the code and STILL DIDNT DO A THING!we want to play this game because we think its cool fun and gory but please fix this.
What's up with all the positive reviews? Either fake or people have mental problems. Another rubbish game. Weird and extremely boring. Not every review is positive…hmmm.

Just found out about this today and we have binge played six of their games. Some series and certainly more difficult than the others. Seasons is intricately done, The Lake, the Mill, and Birthday are amazing. Harveys box was ok but still fascinating. Overall an intriguing game.
We love all of the cube escape games. Theyre so creative, yet challenging. Im still confused why every animal gets its head chopped off… Other than that, awesome game and we HIGHLY recommend it.

Although this one does not top Case 23, it was still incredibly enjoyable. The gameplay was amazing with all the interactions, however, it was a little difficult in some areas. We did thoroughly enjoyed it though and will look forward to the rest of the games.
Ive played endless puzzle games and scoured the App Store for something satisfying. Ive come across good games, maybe even great, but Ive never played a game like the ones in this series. Ive started from beginning and am working our way through the entire stories. The graphics are beautiful, story line intriguing, puzzles challenging but not so frustrating we quit and we always feel satisfied. Some games are better than others but WOW! We dont even pay for games or apps but we bought both games that require money because of how intriguing this series is! Please dont stop making games.
The series of games is amazingly creative. We wish that the developer offered their latest releases in a bundle to save a few dollars. Other than that these games and the storylines that accompany them are enthralling! Keep it up.

Totally nonsense in every way. "Puzzles" are terrible and the story and ending are garbage. It's like someone had heard about point and click adventures but never played one and decided to make the worst one possible. Cannot fathom how it has 5 stars.

If we could rate more than 5 stars we would. We recommend this game to our friends, coworkers, even the students we teach(they're all high schoolers.) we have played every game by RustyLake both the free and paid games and they are all great. The suspense, the slight jump scares, the gore but not enough to make it generic, its not too easy yet where you finish in 15min but its also not hard to the point that you no longer want to play it has that feel that keeps you glued to your phone/tablet. We love these types of games and have never been as addicted before. Would love to see this get bigger in the future. Great job! Hopefully more games to come.

We love all the cube escape games! They're interesting, challenging, and fun. We really like the look and sounds in them. Reminds us of Twin Peaks. We'd really like to see more.
This app is so much fun… We can't even express it. The plot is crazy and weird but at the same time intriguing. We are so addicted we downloaded all nine apps (including roots and hotel). Would recommend!!!! Warning… It can be a bit creepy. But that's what makes it great!!! 10/10.

We are in love with the mysterious and surreal atmosphere in these games, and it is really fun also, challenging but not totally frustrating.
Yet another perfect installment to the Rusty Lake series.
The creepy storyline is just the beginning of this darker than dark telling of a family bloodline and it's ghastly secrets along the way. The graphics are well chosen, and they set the mood for the horror to unfold along the way. We felt the puzzles were exactly the right mix of challenge and intuition, and like a good novel, you feel satisfied yet somehow wanting more, when it finally ends. If there are sequels, you can bet we'll be downloading them. Well worth the $2.99 cost, and we rarely find games worth paying for. This is the exception. We hope to see more from the Rusty Lake team! Excellent, excellent job.

We didn't like these cube escapes when we started playing escape games but we appreciate them now. Weird, eerie understories. Nicely done; not for everyone.
