This is a very good game for lovers of curling this is our candy crush.
This is one of the best curling game Ive ever played. But the IOS version doesnt work as smoothly as the Android version does. The Androids version of this game works really fast and smooth; however, the IOS version often becomes stuck while was being played. Also, we cannot restore our purchase on this app, if we use another device. Meanwhile, there are some bugs in this game that it sometimes doesnt connect to the servers well.
The bones of this curling app are good. But the effort out into by game makers is sad. Create some tournaments. Add more depth than just waiting and waiting to find an opponent. And finding an opponent of similar skill set and ranking can be challenging and time consuming. Also, what is up with the occasional glitchy resetting of the stones sometimes after a throw? Happens infrequently but enough to drive you nuts. Youll have a great shot and suddenly opponents stones reset and your great shot is for not. Fix that!! Again, great bones but No effort by creators. Looks like game hasnt updated in years. Nice for practicing curling strategy.
Great fun, love playing the game. Problem we have is when you win, right before it congratulates you your opponent will disconnect and the game does not give you the win. You see the graffiti coming down but it wont give you the W. You get out of screen and back in and says you forfeited. Please fix.
The game is good, needs a better tutorial on how to ad the spin. It seems like the AI and other players know a bit more than we do. We wish it wouldnt time out so quickly we turn our back for a second and boom we lost by forfeit B.S. Other than that it makes us want to get back into real curling :).
The way the game is designed, allows players to play shuffleboard when they start with hammer. They do not curl in anyway, nor can they, to play the game. Game should start like mixed doubles curling. Finding it frustrating and boring because of this.
This could be a Goode game, but they desperately need to do a couple things. The worst glitch is that randomly when you throw a rock and everything settles a certain way on the board it just kind of glitches and resets everything to almost the way it was minus the stone you just threw. Imagine landing a perfect last shot then the game just glitches, resets a few stones that you just hit, and makes your disappear. We really dont get why this happens but its so frustrating Im going to stop even playing. They also slacked hard in the graphics. You select your spin and throw your stone, but the stone doesnt look like its spinning! It just sits perfectly still but slides like its curling. Why would t you spend and afternoon and program the visual of the rock spinning so it appears to spin on the way down the ice. Pure laziness we would say. If you fixed the glitchy board resets and added that visual it would be a great game and we would continue to play. Until then Ill look for another curling game.
When it works its cool and fun. Unfortunately, more often then not, it doesnt. Its got one mega bug where you get a message that the opponent has been disconnected. It kills the game right then. And that happens ALOT! If it wasnt as sketchy as it is, Id be willing to pay a little for it.
This game is ok. We wish it followed curling rules! Legal stones over the hog line, 5 rock rule. We also wished it would allow sweeping if the opponent stone goes past the T-line. The scoring seems to not score the right rocks as well, sometimes Ill be sitting on the button and a rock will just tap us but suddenly they are shot rock, when Im still on the button.
We love the thrill of curling in real life, Ive been a professional curler for 67 years and we won bronze in the 2014 Sochi olympics. But this game is not it. Do not get this. It is inaccurate, oversimplified and un-fun. It is the opposite of real curling, which is known for being exhilarating.
As others have said the bones are good but the glitching after throwing a stone and rearranging the board is messed up. We can look past the opponent matchup issue (lvl 748 vs 9 in the first bracket? But at least keep the board in place so we have a chance at beating them when we land some tough throws.
Game messes up and doesnt properly record moves and it makes it annoying.
This probably could be a decent game but you can tell it was rushed to the app store. No instructions and no practice time to figure out how to play. The curling stones do not seem to land randomly and appear to be pre determined where the will go.
Very limited. Once you play the AI of which we think is 6 players the only other option is to pvp. Queuing however is horrible. You could be sitting there for days. Our experience with pvp once matched with another player is a whole bunch of hacking going on. The board would reset if we hit a good shot into the opponents favor. It would have 4 or 5 stars if there was more AI.
We are new to curling and added this game to build on strategy. Unfortunately there are glitches causes rocks to go out and then magically come in to the center, Im talking about later in the end not knocking out the first two rocks. This is frustrating as a player and doesnt help with learning the game. If you are a creator or code writer of this game please fix the bugs its really not that hard.
Was playing a match and our stone was in the button. Other teams stone didnt even touch ours but ours just disappeared from the screen. Needless to say we lost that match. Then we tried to rate the game from inside the app and we gave it a 1 star. Then when we tried to write a review it kicked us out and went back to the game. Ill be deleting this app.
We have been playing this game for about five years now, and we have tried to upgrade our play. We still do not know how to upgrade. However, we get stuck playing with players that have upgraded to more powerful game controls, and can cheet by playing with different game controls and rules. If we were to break the traditional curling rules like these players can, we would get penalized and they would not. So if these players can somehow figure out how to purchase illegal playing rules and skills, why are they not paired with the same crocked people who break the traditional rules of curling. We get stuck with playing with these players who play with these unfair rules, and they can play by cheating. Why can't we get paired with players who play with the fair traditional rules of curing and not with with the players who can cheet.
So we played a lot of other curling games but this is the best of them.
Rise, our brothers, and download this app. A true triumph of blood and the toil of the collective workforce.
Fun time killer. We'd recommend it to any people who like Curling. Mulitplayer works fine with us. Always have a match up.
The positives are that this game is pretty straightforward and easy to play. The negative is that you have to pay money to upgrade to the better stones, not just advance in the game.
Addictive and fun. Noticed opponents getting disconnects but that could be just them dropping out of the game from awe of our curling skills. We like the classic game play, but how about adding another game mode with power ups like a grenade stone or other items to move x it up a bit.
Love this game and yes, multiplayer matchups could work better, but we still hope the Dev will update this so it will work on iOS 11.
We enjoy the game but we wish It had the option for practicing by yourself.
We get kicked out of the game SEVERAL times to a sales pitch.. Frustrating to the point we've given up on the game several times.
Gameplay is basically ok, aside from the bug of not seeing the actual action of your opponent's hard throws. Big issues is the interface is terrible for finding opponents. Instead of a board with open seats and game values, you need to click an icon and hope someone joins. It is dumb. You can sit forever and not find someone, or be joined by a player who is way above/below your abilities.
Awesome concept and great when it works, but sometimes you will knock a rock out of play, then it just magically reappears out of nowhere. And, not enough people are playing this game for consistent 1 on 1 play.
Just when you start to get into the game the bugs cause huge frustration! – House changes after shot – Hogged rocks aren't removed – First stones in house replaced like free guards – Dead handle rocks shoot straight.
Had potential but gameplay is quite bad. The makers did not put enough effort into researching the game. The rock doesn't need to fully cross the hog line fore example. And the physics are way, way off. If you hit a rock on the nose your shooter keeps moving forward after contact. It doesn't make sense.
Gameplay can be fun but the 1 on 1 glitches have us movin on. Stones move mysteriously, points change and gameplay will end mid-match (resulting in a loss of coins, forcing $ for continued play). Annoying and frustrating. Poor thorough development.
The 1v1 system is a cool idea but almost every game is won or lost by a disconnection. Seems to be a server issue or the game is too buggy. When playing the computer there isn't any diversity in their strategy they all seem to just throw for the middle. This game is on the cusp of being a good game and just needs a little work.
Not a bad game but too many bugs…especially in one on one mode. You never see your opponents real result, you just see the stone go down the lane and "magically" the stones reset at the other end.
We shouldn't have to hunt around menus that make no sense just to start playing. Terrible game.
Game has a serious glitch right now. Apple Store page slides in automatically immediately and you can't play a game at all. Worked fine for a week then this started… Has been going on for two weeks. PLEASE FIX.
You can't even play the game without it sending you to the App Store to download mobile strike.the game is fun when it lets you play it.
Ads continually popped up before we could even choose play. After a dozen times and never playing the game, we uninstalled it. Waste of time.
You can't play the game without spending money. Deleted 5 minutes after downloading.
Keeps kicking away from the game to try to sell you on other Game Center apps. Waste of time and very annoying when you just want to play.
We can't even play one game. It keeps jumping to the App Store trying to get us to download other apps that is advertising. Do not get this game.
We have gotten through exactly 1 online 1v1 and half a rematch. It took us 10 minutes to accomplish this, and in 3 days and multiple tries we have yet to even get to search for a game due to constant iTunes ads that send us directly to the iTunes Store. We highly suggest waiting until this is fixed until downloading.
It transfers you to iTunes NON STOP!!! When you do finally get to a game it's awesome and we would pay for it to get rid of the adds.
Never had a chance to even play the game. It continued to transfer us to iTunes to download games. Never even had the chance to actually play a game. But if you want to download it to download other games… We guess this is for you. The developer is trying way to hard to make a ton of money from other games. Let people play your game and you will make money by having more players. We develop games as well. This is not the way to make people like your games… It will make them delete them if that is your goal.
Was decent game until recent change that repeatedly loads ads in App Store and prevent game play.
It let us play for 10 minutes without interruption and we loved it. The next three times we attempted to play we were interrupted by a commercial 10 times in a row before being able to play a single game. We deleted it immediately and will not be trying to download again.
There is a constant bug that keeps popping up ads. No way around it. Impossible to play.
Somewhat njoyable if you can get past the game running its ads. We deleted the game because the ads ran so much we couldn't ever get a match going. Every time we would open the app it would start its auto ad sequence, continually opening the App Store. No sooner then we would close it the cycle would start over preventing us from ever playing.
Install game, it keeps wanting to open the App Store. No way to get around it.
It used to be a fun game with some glitches and bugs, but now its impossible to even start the game.
