This is, far and away, the best hacking game availabele on AppStore. We really wish there was a p.C. Version As well. There need us to be s sequel!! We dont understand, the devs caught lightening in a bottle with this game and just moved on. We guess they got tired of hacking games. Anyway do yourself a favor and get this Game.
Like UpLink, it’s different than most but addictive and fun to play.
We were afraid we wouldn’t be able to figure out how to play it, but the interactive tutorial was really helpful. Lot of fun!
The interactive tutorial is good. Although it would be helpful to give tips on how to manage Interpol status. That part is a bit unclear. We like that social engineering is part of this game. It would be fun if some of the basic coding commands were part of the game instead of just watching the text appear on the screen, the player should be required to learn a few of those commands.
It’s not uplink, but it’s not trying to be. Having no knowledge about the real hacking in the world this feels pretty realistic. Bottom line though we’re having fun.
Love this game! Is it too late to ask for a sandbox mode without Interpol?
This game is one of the BEST games we’ve ever played! Hours of fun! So many things that you can do in the game! There’s also some strategy involved if you like strategy games!
Based on reality, this app takes you through port scanners, FTP, Brute Force attacks and such. We’re no hacker, but this is fun and not cheesy at all.
Has so many cleanups it could be a really in depth game if it keeps updating. Would pay for this.
It seems the game rounds up your skill level; when we were skill level 246.6MB, level 4 listings opened up for us, however, we were unable to make level 4 viruses which required 250MB. None of our Trojans were getting caught because the targets all have security level 4. Thus, we are literally a sitting duck until Interpol catches us unless our Bitcoin stealers can outpace the moving costs…
It’s a great game and it’s clear a lot of effort was put in it but when on hard mode if you try to dos someone you can’t.
If you liked uplink, this is worth a play. It seems a bit more realistic than uplink. Game play is fun and challenging. A bit more tutorial or some sort of help would be appreciated for those not entirely familiar with tech.
Taking away a star due to a cannot proceed bug. Dear dev did you abandon? Interactive (beginner) tutorial, buggy. We delete files from log folder and empty out trash bin as per instructions. Game wont proceed. Zero is still stuck at delete files from trash iPad Pro 10.5 iOS 11.4 ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you like simulations, and want to simulate a hacker. Here you go! Its an amazing game that keeps you going for hours but theres one problem. When we put in all the formats for the DOB none of them worked. Please tell us how to fix or get past it.
Good game but confusing at times it also takes a while to complete something but it’s an amazing app.
We give it a 3 because it is not fun, although they put a lot of work into it. We do not suggest buying it.
This game is pretty boring, its not even close to being like uplink (no awesome soundtrack, no 2000s internet age vibes, and there are only 3 mission types). Also, as soon as you hit the money limit, game-over. Cant play that save anymore, no freeplay. Considering the last update was 3 years ago, this is never going to be fixed. Would refund this if we had the choice- not worth 3$.
Heavily recommend if you like games like uplink, putting you right into the shoes (computer) of a hacker or script kiddie. Dev, please fix the notepad from completely emptying copied information. That’s the only negative thing so far, otherwise a great game.
Without an iPad, we thought that we would never get that level of hacking goodness… Until this game. Worth every penny.
