Please stop playing ads that you can close or videos go too long. The ads are suppose to be able to close, we only see some ads that you can do that. We really playing this crossword a lot but if these ads that you cant close keep pop we might not want to play anymore. Listen to the people that play these crossword and fix it.
We like this app and play it daily, but we have several bonus puzzles saved up from when we earned points, that wont play. We can open the puzzle, but we can only type in one letter. Whats up with that. Been going on since your format change. Update regarding developer response on July 10: still does not work. Last version we have is 3.2.5.
We had a problem with the app not working for us and the developer resolved the problem for us. Thanks for keeping us informed. We highly recommend this app. We play it every day. Give it a try.
We have never written a review for an app and am not sure how this works as we wanted to just let someone know that the puzzle on June 18 had a misspelling on the answer of asada for pollo asada in one of the down clues. The answer should be asada with an a but the puzzle had asado with an o which would not ever be correct and was confusing for the other answers. This was our third puzzle and hope others arent inaccurate as we were enjoying these already.
It would be more fun if you gave more money instead of having to sit through so many ads to get so little. Most crossword games we play reward the player much more. You guys are stingy.
Its frustrating having to watch videos for only 10 points! We end up leaving the game and going to other games.
We love this crossword puzzle game. The interface is easy to use and the games are just the right difficulty for us (which means not too hard). A lot of ads, but Im patient. We would love it if we could use landscape on our iPad for this app.
What happened to our account ? We let all past completed puzzles.
We like your game. The puzzles are not too hard to solve. However how am we supposed to do 30 daily puzzles in February when theres only 28 days in the month. Tough to get the bonus points that way.
Love this game but there is a problem. The last 2 days, it will not let us finish a puzzle. Some random ad pops up and it will not let us close the ad no matter what we do. We have tried closing the app and reopening it but the always comes back. Very frustrating. We may have to delete the app if this cannot be fixed. Please fix this do not make us delete the app.
We paid for no ads about a month ago and now we have ads.
We have enjoy Daily Pop for 2 years now. However, the incentives to play more are false rewards. We have been at the same status of solves for months now. 92 out of 100 Pop Plus Puzzles solved.
We really prefer the larger keyboard rather than the shrunken image that is now in use.
Enjoyed the puzzles but watching extra long as for 10 coins is too much to ask. Shame they werent shorter.
Ive always enjoyed doing our daily themed puzzle as we lay in bed at night by turning our iPad on its side. We could easily operate the keyboard while reclining in bed. But after the latest software update the app display stays in vertical position only. There doesnt seem to be a setting to allow us to change the orientation. Why did you mess with our favorite crossword? Ill probably try to find another one thats easier to control in bed.
The new version clues are much smaller font than previously used. We wear glasses and cannot see well and it is getting harder for us to do the crossword puzzle, which is something we really enjoy.
Please bring it back!! It was very convenient to see both the vertical and horizontal clues at the same time. With portrait mode, we can only see the current clue. Call us old school, but we like having the choice of either portrait or landscape. Ill choose landscape almost every time.
Ive been doing this puzzle for years. Id give it a five but just recently they revised it and now the clue words are tiny and difficult to read for seniors. We dont mind the new format but we would just like to see the original size of the word clues.
Why are the fonts so small now? We have old eyes.
Love this app, however the ad version is broken. The Solitaire ad that is played has no ability to eventually exit and play the crossword. In other words, the Solitaire ad is just a hyper-loop to nowhere. Very frustrating. We have been solving these crosswords for years and this being broken is new. Please fix.
We previously played everyday for the past several years. The new look and especially the font size is very difficult to read even with our lasers. No longer fun. If the font size of the clues can be adjective we will go back to a 5 star rating. We realize this new look may be appealing to others but the previous look was just fine. Our sister in law is also having the same issue.
Ive enjoyed this app for years but with this newest update the font size for the clues is so small we have to use our reading glasses. This is pretty inconvenient while Im laying in bed. Please change it back.
Yesterdays update made the general print much smaller and more difficult to read. Are you trying to save space on the page? Its not like you added more stuff and needed the room. Liked it much better when we didnt have to use reading glasses.
Too many ads! Every other time you touch something, here comes an ad! And it is too expensive monthly to stop them.
We dont mind ads before or after puzzles, but now there are ads in the middle of puzzles. Not fun anymore.
Of the 40 apps we have on our phone, this App has the most ads of any of them. Ads before you start a puzzle. Multiple ads WHILE you solve a puzzle. Ads before you see if youve completed the puzzle correctly. Ads to get coins to get clues. Ads for everything. If you want to watch ads for a while with bits of a crossword puzzle thrown in here and there, this app is for you.
We love this game but lately Im having trouble getting in and once we get in after the ad our screen stays blank. Please fix as we dont want to lose our day streak count. Thanks.
We cant get into the game. We just keep getting the loading squares.
Great puzzles with a good challenge but not too hard. The editors have gone to a 30 day, $4.99 price for no ads which makes this a $60.00 per year cost. Hence the one star rating. While the puzzles are good, they arent worth this amount for us. If they offered an annual rate, or a one-time cost, it might be worth it. They also went from a few ads per puzzle to way over the top. This dilutes the fun of the puzzle. Im now deleting this app. We will take another look in 6 months to see if they have adjusted their rates. There are plenty of other crossword apps that every bit as good with a lot less pain.
We love this app. However, for the past week, it wont load. We just get to the spinning block page and it never opens. We dont want to reinstall the app because Im afraid Ill lose all our progress. Ive been waiting for an update to see if that fixes it. There hasnt been an update for 2 months.
We quit. You win. Too many ads just to open the puzzle. Then all the pop ups and then they crash. Its just not fun anymore.
We were purchasing the paper crossword books. Saw the notice about the app so downloaded it. We dont mind the ads so we can earn coins to play for free. However our issue is when the ad is finished it takes us to the App Store to get the game for whatever ad played. There are at least two chances to download the game DURING the ad. We dont need to be directed to the App Store. If we wanted to download the game we could have. Too many clicks. We might just as well delete the app and go back to the paper crossword book.
In early December, 2021, when the AWS servers went down, the game went offline. When it came back on, we had lost all progress on the Daily Pop Plus puzzles we completed for the year. We had completed every one up until that day, even spending money to open many puzzles that we had skipped through the year. When we asked for help, we were told that the problem must be on our end. We were instructed to delete and reinstall the app. That didnt work, and when we asked for help again, we were told to do the same thing. It still didnt work. There has to be a way to restore our progress on their end, but it hasnt happened due to incompetence or indifference. Ill play until the coins we bought run out and then delete the app. Its too bad. It was a nice 15 minute diversion to our day.
We have been using this app for weeks, doing both daily puzzles every day. Until today. Your clue about Colin Kappernick and his protests by kneeling is a disgrace. You all should be ashamed of yourself for supporting this disgusting excuse for a human being. We are now deleting your app, and will rate it a big fat ZERO stars.
The dates are wrong, you show the calendar as September but its actually August. Your new button that says click to continue does not work. Can only get into one puzzle, not both.
We have been trying to load this puzzle for two days. All it does is tell us that we are not connected to the internet. We work about 6 puzzles a day. This is the only one that we are having trouble with. We are connected.
Some of the ads never have an x in the upper right corner (or its too small to press) so you cant get to the game.
Ive played this crossword puzzles for over a year. Ive played every puzzle in their archives. The big prizes they say you win comes to 50 coins . Thats a joke. In order to win these contests you could spend 700 coins to be competitive with the other players. Keep in mind that if you want to win you will need to buy coins. Now, when you buy the coins, Apple sometimes double and triples your order. When you report the problem they respond with, items are not refundable. So in short, you have no recourse. You do what you want but we play only one days puzzle from now on and watch your bill.
This used to be a great free crossword puzzle, lately the ads have been ridiculous. They stay in a loop that you cant get out of without closing the app out and reopening. We wont waste our time on this puzzle anymore.
Ads wont close easily and most of the time we have to hard close app and try it several times.

We loved this game till you did an update. Hate the ads in the middle of the puzzle. All x in the calendar. We liked it the way it was! Not happy for 2 years Ive been doing this app, today it will not load,,,,,our husband tried to reload And it just spins . Cant you fix it . We are having the same problem, we deleted it , we installed it again. Same thing. Love this game but if this keeps up, . Our problem is for a month now it keeps telling us we have no internet on our Ipad yet we can play all our other games. If this doesnt stop we will go to another crossword app.
We have been playing daily pop for years. We have been paying for coins that entire time. When they updated the app to include mid-game ads we started paying five dollars a month to suppress the ads.Recently, even though we are paying to suppress ads we get ads for their other games. If youre going to charge to be add free then it should be ad free.
We love this game, but lately it hasnt been loading, those 4 little squares have been just flickering, and the game we play everyday, please kindly fix this problem so we can continue playing this wonderful game. Thank you, Sincerely, Carol Landes.
We have been having a problem with your ads which we know u have to have but when it says reward has been granted and the x appears to exit it is in the top right in with charging battery sign n will not let it exit now if u could just lower the exit x would be great because we love daily pop so challenging more so than any other crossword puzzle Im giving u a five star rating but please get it fixed so we wont have to delete it.
We love the puzzles! We just wish we had an icon or button to press and it would take us to past puzzles. We can play puzzles as far back as 2917, but it takes us so long to tap all the way back puzzle-by-puzzle. One at a time is so time consuming.
