PuzzleNation's Penny Dell Classic Word Search featuring TOUCHtoSOLVE™ technology is the brainchild of some of the world's leading publishers, creators, and editors of traditional puzzle magazines at Penny Press and Dell Magazines.
Getting started is easy – the words on the list are hidden in the diagram of letters. Search for them by reading forward, backward, up, down and diagonally, always in a straight line. Do not skip over any letters. Some of the letters in a diagram are used in more than one word and some are not used in any words.
When you locate a word in the diagram, draw a loop around it by dragging your finger from one end of the word to the other. Correct words will be looped in the diagram and crossed off on the word list.

Even though there is a modest charge for a collection of word puzzles, its nice to not deal with any ads. The puzzles dont require Wi-Fi once youve purchased them. Dell/Penny Press always have great quality magazine puzzles and these puzzles are the same high quality. Hope to see more variety of puzzles available.

We've tried several word search apps but this is a million times better than any of them!!! It's fascinating – they've got puzzles and clues that are so much more engaging than any other app we've seen! Plus, they include a paragraph of concise and interesting info about the topic of the puzzle. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT! As an added bonus, so far, there aren't any spelling errors – it's a miracle! This is the real deal – fun, enchanting, and addictive.
This is the best word search app ever! We've tried many others and this is the most challenging and the most fun! It has many words in each puzzle. Other apps only have 8 or 10 words per puzzle. You've tried the rest now try the BEST.

We love this App. Design is simple, clean. We appreciate that words found (and circled) are automatically "crossed off" or greyed out, making it simple to keep focus on only the words yet to be revealed to you. :).
The .Game is great on our IPad. Played one and like it Reading what others have said, not so sure we would give it the 5 Stars. We rarely pay for a game. If we should pay, we DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY ADS. We WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS HAS BEEN FIXED.

Very addicting. Reminds us of the word search puzzles we used to do many years ago. Interesting variety of puzzles.
We like this Word Search Puzzle. It is challenging and makes you want to do more than one. We only wish we could change the backgrounds to make it easier to see. That being said, it is a good app. We like that there are many words to find, unlike some of the other apps, that only give a limited number of words.
We will purchase all of the available puzzle packs. So far this is the closest we've seen to our much loved word search games that we solved in Dell Word Search books. The layout is good, there are more than the 10 words you get in other apps that we tried. Dell, keep them coming and, just for variety, how about some number searches and word twists.
The puzzles are fun but getting asked to do a review after every one,even after purchasing gets very annoying.
We like the puzzles a lot. We really like the fact that they aren't timed. We don't have to rush to beat the clock and we can even complete them later. They also give fun facts about the puzzles. We wish there were more free puzzles but we're satisfied with our purchases. It can be a bit annoying having to rate them on a regular basis. We do wish that circles that ring the answers were a little darker. But this is a great circle a word game.
App is fine and worth 5 stars, bought the additional puzzles after completing the samples and really like them. The reason for for this review and the four stars, sick to death of app begging for a review after every single puzzle completed.
Have only played three sample games so far. No problems pretty much just like playing the ones you buy in books.
It's a good game with interesting topics.
Nice app, but the word list locks up constantly. The app has to be restarted over and over to get it to scroll so you can see all the words. Half your time is wasted trying to get the scroll to work. VERY ANNOYING.
We don't mind paying for content since the publisher is the largest printer of puzzle books on paper. The content itself is very good but the app keeps quitting multiple times after each start. Eventually it settles down. PLEASE FIX THIS.
After 5 puzzles you have to buy! Don't waste your time.
Between EVERY game they ask for a review, even after PAYING to upgrade the app. We HATE apps that BEG for reviews. Let us play the game already without hounding us to rate the thing! Had we known we would be harassed after EVERY game, we would NEVER have downloaded the thing. Save yourself the irritation and stay FAR AWAY from this app. There HAVE to be better and less obnoxious games out there.

Love this app. As much as we love the books.
We're so happy Penny Press/Dell developed an app. We always buy their game books in the store so we were thrilled when we saw this in the App Store. We haven't seen all the puzzles yet, but we hope they have all the different kinds like they do in their books – "Missing Vowels", "Places, Please", etc. If not, please consider it for new versions! "Places, Please" is our favorite.

Amazingly, just as good as the magazine.
Forthright, straightforward word search puzzle. Wish the themes were a little more interesting and the words to search a little more educational. For example, one of the puzzles was about "swimwear", which was a bit ho-hum in itself, but made even more so by the mundane words hidden- words like FLORAL [print]. How about the history of swimsuits or the materials they are made from? Well, that's OK, b/c the puzzle serves it purpose, which is to help us fall asleep at night.
Great word games ,always liked the book version .So glad they have this we Pad version.
