Love this game! Very addicting and easy to play! Only small change we would like is to have the "number" buttons either bigger, or farther apart. We regularly hit the wrong number on accident when trying to select the correct number, affecting our scores.
We like the format of the game. We want to just play alone & not be sent to a required page to record our name & score & be rated with others. We thought that upgrading would give us a choice- nope. Deleting.
Yes Sir a super great game. Have had fun with it and it is challenging to play. Would recommend a little more space between the number list at the bottom and to darken or fade the numbers that have been matched out.

Our daughter downloaded this app for us when we got our first iPad about 4 years ago. We think it is visually appealing and easy to use… Especially for a beginner.
We love the app except sometimes we get a fault because the numbers under the grid are too small and close together. We also wish it had a timer on the grid screen and a reset button for when we have a fat finger issue.

This is a great version of sudoku. We are very happy with all aspects of this game. If you like just plain sudoku without bells and whistles or side games this is the one for you. It is exactly like the paper and pencil puzzle.
We like the ability to enter our own games from the newspaper. Although the camera scan feature rarely works well, you can scan a white field and get an empty grid and then enter the values. The one bad feature is that the pencil notes are not saved with the game.
We are enjoying the app. We just wish the note button did not have to be selected each time you use it. A steady on or off would be nice.

We really tried to like this app, but the note function was a real deal breaker. We couldn't simply toggle this on and off. To enter notes in multiple cells required tapping the pencil icon for each cell. Then, when we selected a previously "noted" cell to input the correct number, we had to de-select the note function for that cell before making our desired entry. Downloaded and tried twice on our iPhone 6+ in case there was some glitch, but no joy.
We play it all the time and have no complaints.

We really like photo entry. Numeric entry is clumsy but game works and is fun.
Not the worst, better than most. What we like the most is that we can enter the puzzle from the paper and do on our phone.
Capture of puzzle using the camera worked perfectly, unlike our experience with another highly-rated app. The instructions do not describe the Settings. It was nice to know that we made the wrong choice in square, but it was not clear why. We're not sure if there is an Undo, or better yet, a sequence of undo's, so we can go back to a previous state. But it definitely helped us solve a puzzle we had been having a hard time solving on paper.
We use this because we can enter our own puzzles easily, but the entry functionality is not up to par with other sudoku apps. Three areas for improvement: need an "undo" button, need separate buttons for the notes and number functions (the toggle is really awkward), and need better highlighting of the active number. Look forward to the next version.
We have had this game for years and played fairly often. We will no longer. 25 second videos advertising other games started coming up this week when we finished a game. We don't see a place to skip these ads. Also, we're at the expert level, and most of the time we have to guess a few times in order to finish the game.
Why does the highlighting go away when you go to do your pencil marks? Why can't you enter a number in another location without selecting again?? Very sad, poor effort.

This app is easy to play on several skill levels and fun. The medium level is something you can easily play while watching TV or in other distracting areas and still enjoy it. The hard level is great when you have an environment where you can concentrate well. The way it works is easy to manage. We think it is a great game.

Sudoku was one of those things we do daily about 2 years ago until we stopped. But this app made us remember how much fun and exciting sudoku is.

We have always enjoyed playing sudoku in our spare time and this app just makes it even better. Yes we like sudoku, but we favor this one over the others. Its the small features that really attract us to this app. Like High scores or statistics. We really enjoy statistics because it helps know where we're at and tells how fast we have to be to beat our score. But our favorite feature has to be the resume option. Even when you close down the app or shut the device down, you can resume your game. So when your battery goes down and it shuts down, you can just resume after, it doesn't erase your progress.
We used to play sudoku but quit for a bit. Now we're getting back into it from this app and we can safely say that it's been great! We've never been too good at it and using the easy mode this game provides, it helps us a lot. This mode is perfect for beginners since it shows why a number may be incorrect by highlighting the same number to show that it's already present in the line.
If you're going to play Sudoku this is the game to play. If you have never played Sudoku this is the one that will give you a great explaination and if you play Sudoku and you want try playing it on an app this is the app that gives you the most options to go from playing on paper to playing on screen. It's fantastic.
