Community Insight:
The words are super obscure and hard to guess. Some of them arent even in the dictionary and mean nothing to us. Even sometimes with only one letter left its very difficult to guess what the word is. The game is visually pleasing but not fun to play.
We are a bit annoyed at some of the words cuz we dont think most ppl would even get things like Becker as the word in the psychology section . We were thinking of suggesting a further betterment of being able to pick the category youll like to play in? But we have never crashed nor had any problem with the app. Its very straight forward, simple, and addictive.
Visually very pleasing, the game brings us back again, but we agree with another reviewer. Some of the E words here are NOT in our dictionary. Hints are also useless. Keep perfecting it please.
If you like hangman…you'll love this version. The categories start you thinking before you even pick a letter.
Am we our 70's and always trying to keep our mind sharp. This game is perfect! We learn new words and am surprised at words we remember.
We like this app very much, as it lets us hone our vocabulary.
Subject of puzzles are a bit misleading.
Very entertaining when you have nothing to do.
It's a very enjoyable game except that choosing letters can be difficult. It too often registers the letter next to the one we're trying to choose. And getting the we to register is very difficult.
We are an SLP and we use this app with aphasia patients. We like that you can set the level of difficulty so that it is appropriate for the patient's abilities. It is hard to find apps for people with "intermediate" abilities. There are apps for people with very severe aphasia, and then nothing between this level of involvement and normal language abilities. So this is a pretty useful app.
This is no frills hangman. Enjoyable.

We really like this game and would like to play it, but it constantly crashes especially when we hit the continue button. This could be a really good game if this problem is resolved…please fix this.

First, don't pay any attention to the other ratings because you are forced to rate upon the first play. Second, you play one game and push continue and it crashes.

Every single game, "rate us" or go through an extra step; all that's missing is the tire-thumper held behind the back. Since you want to push an push for a rating instead of us doing it because we like your game or don't on our own you get a s#*++ rating! A big fat 0 stars for pushing your customer into a " rate us ".
We play it all the time it has great words and is so much fun!! What a keeper.
Compared to the 6 other hangman games that we have evaluated, this one is a keeper. We liked: The Large, Chalkboard Themed Font, Realistic and Clear Sound FX, Score Rollover, Challenging Words used and Cheering and Applause at the end if each Win.

This game is a lot of fun and we also like that we gives a lot of chances.
Only bug we're having is the right side of the keyboard is tough we have to tap the letters about 4 X's.

We love hangman just as much as the next guy but we've always found the pencil and paper combo and drawing him rather tedious do this app is perfect for us. We get all the brain simulation and fun without all the frustration of keeping track of letters and drawing. Definitely worth the download, 5 stars.

Quite a nice concept and design. We like those old school style writing in black board with chalk. We suggest need to add some tutorial in this app.
The game is quite fun. But the words are pretty hard to guess for children so be aware. Basically adults and subadults can play this game and have fun. But very good. We recommend it.
