Great game! We play these games all of the time. We guess we are a bit sensitive but a young man had just been shot dead and, here, the game is wanting us to worry about wings on an angel on a jewelry box. The young man was holding the jewelry box and we are rummaging through his stuff looking for wings while his body is decaying in the room. We know it is just a game and we didnt take it THAT seriously. We still thought that the poor little guy needed a little more dignity. Even the bad guy was saved in the end. But not this innocent young one. So sad LOL.
Rarely do we write reviews, but we found this game to be very satisfying in all aspects! Beautiful graphics, subtle background music with none of the harsh sounds if the wrong object is clicked, transporting map with indications of pending tasks, clever, witty and charming HOP's, innovative out of the ordinary puzzles, good plot easy to follow, ability to go back after completion of bonus game and collect souvenirs or collectibles that were missed…One of the best we've played.
We have played over 40 hog before and never once wrote a review hands down this game is amazing.
This is an older offering from this series, but it is still good. There is teleporting, you go to the map under the menu tab and from there you can teleport between locations. Someone said it was short, we did not find it to be so, there are 41 scenes, pretty standard for Eipix. You can go back after finishing the game and get any collectibles and morphing objects you may have missed. The story is the usual catch the villain, but it wasnt boring. The mini games were interesting and unique, but not difficult. An enjoyable game.
The game is interesting if slow paced. T he slow pace is due, in part, to having to open the menu to access the map. We also prefer games with customizable speed settings, which this does not. It would be nice to see some new games rather than reissues of old games. This one is three years old, from 2016.
Since BF hasnt come out with any new games and Ive been playing these games for years (so Ive played just about all of them) we came across this one and realized we never played this one. Ive been replaying all the ones Ive already played over the years so it was refreshing to play one Ive never played and thoroughly enjoyed it. We especially liked the description hints in the hops instead of the usual silhouettes or names of the objects. Gonna look for more of this series games and hopefully we never played them.
The game was well done, but very very very short. It took us only about 2 hours. That was fine for $2.99, but we can't imagine paying full price. There was a comment about the lack of a teleporting feature, but there WAS teleporting. Perhaps it was added in a later version.
This is very short, puzzles are not great, and the story is just ok. We assume this was an early effort.
No map, on HOP some items are difficult to see and the area to click on them is small. So you have to touch an item multiple times. Difficulty in picking up items from inventory. A lot of going back and forth to multiple rooms. Now our inventory items are gone. Yes, frustrating! Such a shame, it has potential.
Had some problems, but good game.
We liked the game but got frustrated with not being able to pickup the inventory items sometimes. Also, we were unable to finish the bonus game because the broom was no longer in our inventory and we needed it in order to save the guy from falling. Very disappointed about that.
No map? No teleport? A new game without the bells and whistles? Hmmm? Not for us. You keep getting dialogue. You have to go back and forth. Seems somewhat linear, and if so, you might not need a map or teleport. But, the free trial was short, so we're not sure. The pinch screen kept closing when we used it in a HO scene. That was annoying. Update: Decided to try it again in 2016. It's already crashed 3 times. THAT's annoying. They haven't updated anything, either. Still no map, etc. But, the game seems like it COULD be fun if it were fixed. Too bad.
After fixes still problem with freezing screens and disappearing or missing inventory. We were on chapter 5 (last chapter before bonus game). All of our inventory disappeared. The game ran a loop and we were stuck in the backyard and could not advance. IPAD PRO 2019 IOS is updated along with the last east version of the game. No problem playing free trail. Trouble happen when we paid for the unlock now version..BUYER BEWARE OF DISCOUNTS.
Just started the game and the inventory has disappeared, no way to get it back. Glad we didnt buy it, very disappointed.
We were playing just fine when our inventory disappeared. Hint send us to point A which sends us to point B which sends us back to to point A but we can do nothing without inventory. Sorry we paid for this game even on sale.
Firstly right off the bat after cop handed us the gloves they disappeared so we couldnt check out the body which means we could not move forward. Thinking okay our iPad is acting up we shut it down, log back on no gloves where are they? So we shut down our iPad again same issue stuck no gloves. So we delete, (which by the way we had already purchased) from our iPad game already in our purchase history so we hit install. Finally after taking the gloves they head to pink items area. Now what made us flip our lid we hit unlock to make sure Fish didnt pull a fast one and charge us again, guess what they did, showed cost if you want to unlock we aint havin it we have proof of purchase not only at Apple also the receipt sent to our email which we archive cuz Fish had tried to pull a fast one on us in the past. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS. Fish, you will unlock the game or else! 10/14/2019 P.S Fish had to reinstall game due to the glitches so dont come back sayin if you delete game you lose purchase rights,WRONG we payed for full game unlock it.
We started playing this series this year. We were blown away at the intricacies of the puzzles and artwork and ingenuity. Apparently Eipix was either given a huge influx of cash or they hired new staff members because anything pre-2017, like this one, is boring, cookie-cutter, rehashed crap. Mixed review. So bad on this one, great on anything that came out in 2017. Thanks for for upping your game, pardon the ridiculous pun, Eipix, this year.
The original game was released 2/10/16. We don't know why BigFish keeps doing this..re-releasing games as if they're new. When they release them, they are listed as having a current release date and no reviews. Thats misleading and confusing. We thought the game was enjoyable. It's made by Eipix. But please note… The reviews on original release have many complaints of bugs and glitches.
