We randomly tried this game and have never played this type of game. We didnt really know what to expect, but we really enjoyed it. The puzzles were a mix of easy to challenging, so there was a variety. Also, the story was very good and was deeper than we thought it would be. Ive really enjoyed this game, and we definitely will try more games by this publisher.
We just redownload this game again and the gargoyle keeps disappearing when we need hints or want to skip.
Please fix cant move past the quasaimodos story having the same problems ,cant see the other objects. They finally fix the game thank you, for the people stuck at story of Quasimodos with no being able to see the candle we tried the menu button hit it got out and game back in and it worked. Good luck. The game itself was wonderful it has everything DominiGames have. The story kept us interested throughout the game. So we diffenitly would give it a try. Sunday August 20th tried playing again with the same problems with the hint button disappeared tried to reinstall and had the same problem. You guys have the worst quality control people every game has issues.
Do you developers test these games before releasing to the public? This is the third game that we installed and it has issues. The hint/skip button doesnt work at all and you have to tap continuously before the item responds. Dominigames use to be good, now theyre the pits! We installed and reinstalled Notre-Dame three times today, 8/15/23, and its still glitchy. You mentioned a new version. We installed this game from Apple Store and we found only one version- the glitchy one. Where is the new version? Are you guys paying so much attention to the Episode & FP2 games that youre making a mess of the non-Episode & non-FP2 games? Sure seems so. But, if not, then put all games out that actually work.
Was hoping Id have an updated version but looks like the bug wasnt fixed. The hint button disappears right away. We have uninstalled and reinstalled with the exact same issues. So very disappointed as they were one of our favorite developers. Hope this is resolved soon for all of us with the same issue.

Better than most. It has a coherent plot line and we love it when you dont have to find the exact tool to do a job. A coin can unscrew screws too! A nice change from dragons and other fantasy creatures which can get old.
The art is very good, but overall Im sorry we bought this.
Lots of puzzles, could be an interesting plot — but it's not. Tedious, visually unappealing and definitely not worth the price.
Bought and of course it glitched so we are starting over. Hopefully we can complete the game.
Pretty graphic, nice storyline- BUT… Within the first three scenes, the hint started showing up belated in the scene after pressing, then you only hear it but doesnt show up at all. It depletes but no hint- we tried everything under the moon- not worth 6.99$. We played a game from this series before it and there the screen field wasnt reactive- many double and triple taps needed. Will not buy from this producer again.
Update: Well they say its fixed but its not re downloaded the game hoping not to waste our time AGAIN. We are playing through and guess what GLITCH still and we still am unable to play any further. This is twice we have wasted our time on this developer and game! What a RIPOFF! Like everyone else Im having the same problem, but at a different spot! Im at the castle with the knight and cant move forward and now Im out 6.99, cause Apple wont refund us! Yall better get it together or we will never purchase another game! Clearly you had MANY issues with this game as you can see in the reviews.
This game was so much fun, just like all the other Dark Romance series. We enjoyed this one so much that we went ,back and played it on the difficult level and still had a wonderful relaxing time. The graphics were also very bright and clear. Thank you Domini for all the fun and lengthy games that we all so much enjoy playing. We look forward to seeing more of the Dark Romance series, hopefully you are able to bring back some of the older ones. Best Regards.

…when we got to the castle yard in chapter 3, we couldnt go any further. The hint and map were no help, and the strategy guide said to use the hook and chain to open the cabinet door. We had done that and saved the game, but when we came back, the door was locked and the hook and chain were no longer in our inventory. We hate to delete and re-install game, is there another solution.
Once again DoMini hit it out of the park…Entertaining. Stunning Graphics and match three if You dont want to play HO or get stuck. Buy…you wont be disappointed.
1st reviews are right, candle issue in one of the 1st puzzles, but their advice worked without skipping, take it. Plus the developers have updated immediately. Play the trial then decide on this. In our opinion Its good. Does have similar story lines & graphics as some of the recent games, but one of the better ones & it was long enough for us to say thanks to them cause we enjoyed.
Same problem. Cant see candle but know its the next move. SO looking forward to this game, please address quickly. Need one of your great games. The game kept our interest and plenty of hogs. Scenes had much to see and do. Im not sure it was us but we had to do a lot of double tapping, gets old. Still a fun game. Keep them coming.
The game on the statue does not work. When we try to place a tile, the tile will disappear. If we hit Skip, the game immediately crashed and we can proceed no further. We saw a comment that this has been fixed, but after loading the update, deleting and reinstalling the game we still have the same problem. Ive played just about every Domini game thats been produced and rarely have had an issue. This one is frustrating.
Im sorry $6.99 is just not a fair price. We wont be purchasing from this company anymore. So sad that we wont be playing our favorite genre games anymore.
Love playing their games on our phone but am tired of only getting so far then yu have to pay for them to keep playing but they are free to download on computer wont play on our phone anymore if it stays this way.
We were really enjoying the game till we got to the island. It crashed while we were there and after that the hint button did not work. Told us on all 3 sites that there was nothing to do in each. Only have a belt and two items that need addition objects. Did reinstall, then had the same problem.
UPDATE: notice from another reviewer that you lowered the game price. We were charged 6.99 and we have a subscription. What gives? Purchased this game but we are disappointed that we are unable to play. In the story puzzle about the sorcerer cursing Quasimodo, the candle that we need to use is not there. Please update this game so we havent lost our increased price of 6.99. We.
Update: 9/9/19 Yay! They fixed it within days (that included a weekend). We didnt even have to reinstall. It was fixed when we came back to it today. 9/7/19: In the demo, when you get the handle from the Captain and place objects in Quasimodos story, the candle is off screen and cant be seen or grabbed (but you know its there.) Cant move forward until its fixed. Wrote to tech support.
Really enjoyed this game. Great job again. We love this series its fantastic and so creative. We only hope that you start putting out new releases more often.P.S we also ran into the issue with the candle, we just got out of game and restarted it and then the candle was there.
Couldnt move past minigame where you place tiles and are supposed to receive cardinals ring. Game crashed during minigame and restarting didnt help. At this point hints stopped working too. Getting a refund.
Really was looking forward to this next installment. Hope you can get it fixed soon! Also please let us know how many games you plan to release a month if we take out a subscription at $4.99 per/month? KdBoots.
