This game is so wonderful and we love the story !!!!!!
We thought it was great! 6.99 may have been a little pricey but we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Good, not great, but one of the better games out there. The HOGs were sometimes a little too dark, making it hard to find objects. But what kept us from giving it a full five stars is that sometimes the next action was a little too obscure. (Could just be us.) Finally, a good story but the ending felt a little rushed. But on the whole, one of the better games out there and worth the price.
We cannot view the scenes explaining the case with the figures in it. There is no voice sound.
When ever there is a cut scene the screen goes black you can hear it but cant see anything. Not sure we want to pay for full version since it keeps doing that.
We played this free selection before, but was disappointed. We still am. It hasn’t been upgraded. It has a useless map that just has a dot showing where you are, and nothing more. Trying to figure out where to go next is virtually impossible without the hint button. There’s way too much back and forth, too. The sound came on a few times while switching locations, too. Is it worth $6.99? We don’t think it was that price even before it was old. It’s definitely not worth it now.
Not good. Hard to move the pieces . Maybe it’s just not good for iPad .
We could not make it through the free play portion. Very dark made it impossible to see hidden objects. Lot of bugs don’t waste your time.
We couldnt tell the game was junk until after we bought it. The money is still pending. If you have the same problems, make sure your money isnt taken out of your account. If it has been taken out, demand it back.
Plugged in the right code for a part of the game not once but three times and it did nothing. Will not be buying any more big fish games.
The cut scenes are not playing between acts. The only option is to skip.
Hokey! Lips dont move when talking. Also, we had no way to say no tutorials. Very inferior. Probably very old. Dont waste your time and money.
Todays deal 65% off? 2.99 just bought a game recently for 55% off and it was 2.99…..,…. False advertising.
We give this app an 1 star because its not the same as when we were little, like we have to unlock it for $6.99 and thats just stupid!! NOW we CANT PLAY ALL OF IT!! UGH! We HATE U!! YOU JUST WANT MONEY!!!!!
We see someone complained about this 2 years ago and we are having the same issue now. The cut scenes are a totally black screen. Fix It!
The game was GREAT we enjoyed it but the mask were a little scary we hope they make a second one.

This is the most fun, sophisticated Hidden Object game we’ve played to date. Gorgeous artwork (love the steampunk flair), a legitimate storyline with good dialogue and better-than-decent voice acting, cut-scenes that come alive–I’d categorise this game as more Adventure than Hidden Object! A tale with heart, real mystery, magic, creepiness, and even a bit of character development–the latter not being a common trait in Hidden Object. Nice and long, too! Oh yes, the game didn’t crash once, here. Many thanks to the developers and distributors!

This game is a rare find. It is eerie without being so dark that we cannot. Tell what we’re looking at without turning the brightness up on our IPad all the way. It is seamless in the storytelling without any crashing or glitches, in spite of our frantic tapping when we are searching for the next, best move. And speaking of storytelling, this game had it all! It was the perfect mix of HO, storyline (with beautiful graphics) puzzles, a hint button that really helps, but not so much that it feels like a cheating walk-through! It was also very LONG! We played over a 4 day weekend, while sick and it kept us quite occupied and engaged. The time flew by. It was well worth the money we spent.
The graphics are exquisite, and the game is very engaging (without being impossible); well done! I’d have wished a slightly cheaper price tag for the full version ($6.99), but… Still pretty good!

We love the Nancy Drew series so when we found this game we fell in love. The graphics and story line are fantastic! Not to mention we have the hottest girlfriend/fiance ever! We never get tired of playing it over and over again. We never buy apps but when we played this for free we just had to finish the game. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a good game that challenges you in every way!

Just finished Sins of the Father and we just have to say wow. One of the longest of these genre games we have played. This certainly raises the bar on expectations. Pros: beautiful graphics. Challenging HOS’s, exceptional storyline. Very cool twist at the end. This game took several days to complete versus a single evening which is awesome. Good quick navigation, scenes load quickly and the plot really keeps you interested. So many different places without too much needless running back and forth. Really well designed. The number of locations and the beauty of each one was really excellent. We are not sure if it was because this was a ported game from the PC version or what but it was much more complex than the last few we have played. For $4.99 this was an amazing value. This was certainly worth more than many of the $7 games we have played. Cons: these are very few and minor. After some of the cut scenes the display would invert and wouldn’t respond to reorientation movements. Never run into this before, we just flipped the device and got back into the game. The map doesn’t allow you to jump to locations that we could find and really only showed where you were currently not like the newer ones that allow you to click on and navigate or tell you that there are things to be done. Hint takes at least a minute to recharge which is significantly more than others on casual, but that adds to the challenge! There was a scene where a ladder needed to be placed between two roofs. It was very difficult to place the ladder. There was only a small area where it would succeed which if we hadn’t peeked at the walk through would have left us confused. Really excellent game, one of the top ones we have played by BF. Thanks for the great work!
Very entertaining, pulls us into the IPad. We personally find this one a bit difficult, we guess because we’re really hyper and all over the place. We never thought I’d get SO addicted to a game, also it’s really long so you get your money’s worth:-)
One of the longest BF games we’ve played, and won’t bore you to tears.
This game was a welcome surprise. Been through a lot of stinkers lately and this one had a good story, great puzzles and great graphics. Kept us interested for the duration which is a lot more than we can say for others. You shouldn’t be disappointed by buying this one.
We just finished playing this game and it was simply amazing. We could not put it down. The storyline is really intriguing and we were completely immersed. Gameplay was very smooth with no bugs or problems. The graphics were gorgeous and the game is nice and long. It took us 5 hours for main game and 2 for bonus chapter. We play so many games like this that at times we find myself getting bored. This one kept us interested and immersed until the end. There are tons of bonus features in this game; including a helpful strategy guide, lots of art, movie clips, music, and more. This time you play a male character which is really refreshing in this type of game. The main character (Ethan) is one of the most handsome guys we have seen in these types of games! (blush). He was so fun to look at! We think the ladies will be really pleased :-) The other characters are very good looking as well. We highly recommend purchasing this game because it is a high quality game and so worth the price!

We really liked this one and would buy again. Haven’t played the bonus chapter yet but this one was a pretty good length with an actual story line. Liked the graphics a lot since it combined action scenes and a good number of puzzles and HOAs.

The game was challenging and had a very good plot. We only wish we were able to play it again.
We haven’t written a review since they "improved" the App Store (sarcastic, we think it’s terrible) but this game is really good. We have played about a dozen or so BF games. Took a break for a while after a buggy game where BF wouldn’t issue refund. On principal, we wanted to continue our personal boycott but we missed the games and couldn’t find anything comparable. This game is really good. A lot of interactive play, good graphics, and good flow. Real effort was put into making this game. We wish there was some way to tell who the real developers are when buying from BF. We are pretty sure there was another Alawar game that was really good. Plus, it would be nice to know to avoid the lousy games. There was one really bad one recently, we think Phantom of the Opera or something that was so lousy we ended. Anyway, this game is really good so we thought I’d take a minute to share.
Finally!!! Just what we were looking for in a Big Fish puzzle game. Not too easy, not too difficult. Puzzles are solved logically and require some brain power. Just the right mix of puzzles: HOs, mini-puzzles and gathering useful items. Nice graphics. Thank you, BF! Finally, after a too-long dry spell, a game worth the money.
