Dead Age is a Adventure/Roleplaying game from Headup GmbH, first launched in 7th June 2017.
It’s rated 17+ and currently has 134+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Dead Age Stand Out

Survive the zombie apocalypse with turn-based combat and permanent death! Manage survivors, go on dangerous scavenging runs, build alliances, craft equipment, make difficult story-influencing decisions, defend your camp against undead hordes and experience non-linear rogue-lite elements. An innovative Indie Survival-RPG!

HOW LONG WILL YOU SURVIVE?
Just after the zombie outbreak you were fortunate enough to join a group of survivors and hole up in their camp.
But that doesn't set you out of danger! Food supplies are running low, injured survivors must be tended to and materials need to be scavenged to keep the camp intact.
The zombie threat increases steadily and gangs of hostile survivors keep you on the defensive.

"FINAL FANTASY"-STYLE TURN-BASED COMBAT WITH PERMANENT DEATH
Every survivor should be protected because you'll need all hands on deck to defend against the dangers of the apocalypse.
Scavenge supplies in zombie-infested areas, craft survival gear and buy and sell equipment to keep yourself and your camp members alive long enough to learn the skills necessary for long-term survival.
The combat system has its roots in classic role-playing games. You can fight strategically, learn to utilize various weapon types and use a range of bombs or traps.

ROGUE-LITE ELEMENTS
Should you fail to survive the apocalypse, you can purchase upgrades with medals earned in previous playthroughs to give your new character an edge to start with.
Unlocked pre-apocalypse professions of your character allow you to specialize in various jobs.
Each new playthrough offers different random missions and survivors to meet.

NON-LINEAR STORY WITH 6 DIFFERENT ENDINGS
A praised feature of Dead Age is its non-linear story with real in-game consequences. Decisions you make in conflict situations affect the story's future.
You can choose to be a hero and save more survivors, or let them die to stock up on supplies. You can build romance relationships with other survivors or start rivalries that may have disastrous chain reactions.
Daily events offer new dangers and situations in which you must make choices that affect the survival chances of your camp.
Live long enough, and you'll have a chance to unlock one of the game's six possible endings.

Supported ingame languages:
English, German, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Polish, Russian

This Adventure game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

We have to say Im a fan of some independent game studios. We purchased this for our PS4 and beat it once so far. This game can be short depending on the circumstances and even dying rewards you with points to unlock a few things. What is great about this Turn Base RPG game is the way they handled the Replay Value. They have randomized events to play slightly different each time you start a new game whether you win or loose. Achievements, give you bonus perks to build the protagonist with skills to add when you start again, or unlock character professions to use for your next game if enough points are collected. 6 total endings 3 successful and 3 failed endings, even one where you win in 20 days. Dead Age is built around making sure you survive a certain amount of days, 38 max if Im correct You may not get all the character in the 1st play through, or you may recruit the same ones at a different days and random event. We really hope they release the 2nd game for mobile and consoles. Give it a try if you like OG Final Fantasy, zombies, and just want to pass the time building your character with new jobs or skills.

We really enjoy all the rpg elements allows for a lot of really cool characters definitely a good game for the money.

One of the best RPGs Ive found on mobile. Only $1; great product. Looking forward to part 2 on PC. We hope that makes it to mobile also.

Ive only played a few hours but we love how deep this game is! No micro transactions or pay to win elements. Just good ole turn based zombie apocalypse shooting and crafting gameplay. Played on an iPhone 11.

Hello admin, we dont write much however this one,we have to say its awesome. Our friend told us about this game on stream and we were wonder if its on iPhone. When we check it on iPhone we fell in love with this game even more and Its worth the money, even so its 2yr old. We were wondering are you guys gonna update it or considering a follow up as in putting dead age 2 on the iPhone iOS. Let us know please. Thank you for reading our letter and keep it up the awesome job.

We bought this game on steam and was super excited to see it on iOS also! We were happy to pay again. This is a great rogue ish game with an awesome story.

Well put together game, you wont be disappointed.

Fun, challenging, touching and intuitive game. Its hard enough but the game design is great that you can always figure out how to beat it eventually. Love it.

First off. This game wont crash if u have decent WiFi. We say maximum 3 hours or when your phone gets hot. Shut it off. Our first time to this game, we died on day 4. Aw man this games hard. Now, 10 MILLION tries later… Its still hard. But we understand its a design choice. Like your there. Mr.Macho man McGee with max strength with a critical MIGHT kill a raider in 1 hit but thats very lucky. Not for the faint of heart. Amazing game but you have to want to TRY if you want to SUCCEED. Not a first time win. Maybe 5th at best.

As the title clearly says, this game is perfect for iPhone. No annoying controls, no rushing only to fat-finger it and die, etc. And the resource allocation elements are a welcome addition as well. Combat is pretty basic so far but still thoroughly enjoyable. We wish there were more combat options, though we think there will be as we get higher in level. The permadeath and inability to save aspects are also pretty cool, though we can still cheat by closing the game when Im close to death and restarting the day. Which is maybe a b**** move, but who are you to judge us? You dont know us, you dont know where Ive been. Our struggles, our dreams. You dont know our shameful secrets, like how we once killed a man on accident and then buried him in a wheat field in West Virginia. You dont…wait. We think Ive said too much. We mean, HA HA HA! This game is fantastic! Thanks! Ignore that other stuff, we were just rambling. Great game.

We are a couple hours into this game and from someones whos played almost every game on the App Store so far this has been a totally different experience then anything Ive played. Its a turn based zombie game with an old school retro vibe to it. Theres a lot of depth in the skill tree here and we cant wait to delve into the crafting system they got going on. So far its an awesome game. Highly recommended picking it up from the App Store. And its free. Cant beat it.

Im normally in bed by 11/12 and it is now 3:34 lol. Ive been playing this game non-stop! Its not like other games. You dont have to have energy to continue and you have no in app purchases so its all off of skill, strategy, and luck if you succeed or not. We love it. Two big thumbs up from us.

Well worth the money! We are very pleased to say this is State of Decay meets 60 seconds without the first 60 seconds of gathering.

Its a good game. Our only complaint is the games excessive use of sexual innuendos.

When you start playing this have some patience. It took us several play throughs to understand the details of the games but it is worth it. This is not a game you can pick up and play for 10 or 20 minutes then put down. A lot of decisions need to be made about how to allocate your group members and resources and it takes time. Despite how awesome this game is, we have a few recommendations. Allowing saves in mid day would be nice instead of only at the end of the day. Also, please allow saving to the cloud. We currently have a lot of progress on this game saved onto our iPad but we lost all of the data on our laptop just a week ago. If we sync it, we lose our data. Also a request…….please make another game like this, either a zombie themed sequel or a different version perhaps a Mad Max style apocalypse version. We have not finished this game yet but we know we will be sad when we do because Ill want to keep playing.

Play on the computer and greatly enjoyed. Bought it here so we can have it on the go. Great game all.

We like the game a lot. It would be cool to custom make your character, but so far so good.

Truly great and simple to play game but beware your choices. You'll have to pay the piper at some point. We find ourselves looking for the best tactics to handle even the simplest of tasks in this game. Ingeniously thought out.

It's not often that we'll give a game 5 stars but this game is awesome.

Great game made perfect by the last update. No more crashes. Runs fantastically on iPhone 6. Excellent story, skill progression. This game has it all. We'd love to see new features like being able to play as a female main character and some form of online arena or something but that's just be icing on an already excellent cake.

If you enjoy games like Wazhack and FTL, you'll probably like this. Update: Replayed multiple times to achieve different endings. Running out of things to do after many hours of enjoyment. Just wish there was more! Hope you make a sequel or other games using this engine.

Great zombie title, well done and easy to get into.

We're a big Zombie guy love state of decay DRTC dead rising etc and we love indie developers seen this and never seen s Zombie RPG before as far as turn based so we bought it. Love it kinda of hard learning curve as far as the interface but once u get that it's great multiple endings permanent death all great for a Zombie survival game only complaint should be able to create your own character besides just changing the name making him black a female whatever could immerse u in the story even more. But great game guys can't wait for future updates… Update we're on day 19 and whenever we go to woods night to take out the bandits camp it shuts off EVERYTIME we really love this game please fix in update had to take it down to 3 stars playing on iPhone 6 Plus with latest update.

Like how it can go many diff ways depending on ur choices.

First off we never write reviews however this one will be the exception. We were hesitant to buy the game at first but we ultimately decided to go for it. Im glad we did because its definitely a quality game. It exceeded Im expectations by miles and its quite apparent the developers put a great deal of effort into making it. We wouldve given 5 stars but that would imply there wasnt any room for improvements. So 4 stars is essentially the highest rating we would/could ever give a game. We highly recommend pick it up, its worth it.

Smart game. Still new but its challenging and well thought out.

We wouldve given 5 but Im not even sure how expanded the whole of it is you know? The more there is to exploring and the closer it is to unlimited gameplay the better. We just feel its limited a bit.

This is an amazing game, but we found that the story can get a tiny bit repetitive. We feel like there could be a tiny bit more work to make every play through truly different, with maybe different characters and different quests, etc.

For a game that is rated 4.8 and us being into the whole zombie genre, we figured Id love this but its terrible . The combat is the same thing over and over and over again , no diversity whatsoever . By the second day , Ive already lost 2 out of the 4 main characters . Its also quite confusing with a high learning curve . We wish we could get our money back sadly . Theres so many better games out there then this.

An alright game but very much generic in story. Graphics look pretty cheap too.

Events are forced and too repetitive, UI is confusing and game is less than expected.

Ok, so first of all, we will start off by saying that this game is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. We guarantee that you will die on the second day of playing the game. It was a waste of our money, and we could have spent our $ on something actually worth our time.

We love everything about put we feel like we need more and maps two work with.

Entertained us for hours and hours. You will get your money's worth.

There is nothing in the App Store that compare with this game, very fun, great visuals, engaging enough story, sense of accomplishment when doing the missions. Not Generic and with NO THIEVING IN APP PURCHASES like this other games that you need to keep paying to go through the same repetitive lousy "missions" The 2 dollar price is nothing for what this game offers. Head up games: PLEASE KEEP DOING GAMES LIKE THIS, we wouldn't mind paying a lot more for this quality product.

It's final fantasy with zombies. If that sounds appealing then get this game.

Not sure what to say just yet cuz we just started playing so we'll see.

The characters are alright, but the real point of the game is micromanagement of survivors and resources, along with having pretty pictures to add to the old-school text RPG gameplay.

A nice classic style RPG where a large part of it is thinking, and planing, and taking the correct action at the correct time. This is not a run around kill, and collect elite fighters to breeze through the game. Like we said, classic true RPG play, assigning skills, and abilities over time, and thinking about what you do. Before doing it.

Great Game… Love The Concept… Would Also Love To Get Through A Trip Without The Game Crashing And Killing our Progress!!!! Please Fix And 5 Stars Is A Definite.

Not that far into the game yet, but so far so good.

4* because it's amazing but not spectacular. Why? Because, we're sure every IOS user knows what it's like to play a game and the game just shuts off. Well the developer has tried so hard to make this game a survival rogue like that they only allow the game to save itself 1 time at the beginning of each in game day. This is an issue when you spend an hour messing around with survivors managing resources changing equipment sending people on jobs then you go out to an area for a mission or resource collecting only to have the game crash and you lose all that progress. The developer should at the very least add another auto save when you first enter an area for exploration just to prevent the loss of all that time spent before entering. The battles are what you'd expect if you think turn based like final fantasy . Watered down story/decision based post apocalyptic survival in the family of tell tales the walking dead. We tell people this game is the baby of tell tale and square enix. We recommend the game but just be cautious of crashing . It actually doesn't start happening until around day 25ish for whatever reason.

We tend to like the, "Build, Fortify, and Recruit" against the enemy games. Be they zombies, orcs, or other humans. So far, this game has given us quite a variety of challenges/jobs to do and we like being able to select options other than simple to fight. We want to see how much and how well we can fortify our home base. We want to see how recruitment goes with other survivors. Being new to the game, our only complaint may be explained and reduced with experience. But sometimes the interface seems a little too complex. We are also a "knowledge seeker" and we'd like to see more descriptions on anything and everything we find…its uses, its possible uses(even if that means leaning a "camp" skill to get the extra information). So far we are enjoying ourselves. We'll see it goes.

Anyone who thinks there would be fake reviews for a paid game is not the sharpest tool in the shed. So the behind the battle mechanics are great. There is a lot of upgrading, side missions, crafting, and base building to keep us interested for the entirety. The battles are good enough turn based fighting to enjoy. We can see it getting a bit repetitive and sure how long it will peak our interest. Luckily all the other aspects we mentioned keeps us playing. Thanks for the game.

This is exactly the kind of game we like! However, it suffers from persistent crashing, which makes the game impossible to finish. The fact that this game is still getting 3 stars is a testament to how much we like the parts that are playable. Please fix.

Besides taking the whole notebook thing from "rebuild 3", and the very lame fighting from everybody else, there's a huge hole in the middle. Those two things are the whole game. Just feels like there's a lot missing that needs to be in there. It gets incredibly boring, incredibly fast.

A classic rpg with zombies, a good combination since we love turned based rpg and zombies, but the only problem is it keeps crashing at "day 19" we cant do our mission if it continues crashing… So ill give it a 3*.

So we just bought this game bc we looooove zombie games and you have to be a guy? Ugh it's 2017 girls can fight zombies to.

It seems sort of boring to us. The combat system doesn't really draw us in and the tutorial was somewhat annoying. The story and most the characters don't really give us a reason to care about them.

This game is really good but we wish the fights could be sped up and the app could be fixed so it would stop crashing every 20 minutes.
