We have been playing this game for over a week now when we have free time. We want to say that the graphics are great, the puzzles are very fun, everything is just amazing. But we are going to pay for the unlimited hints because we are stuck.
We enjoyed the storyline and the puzzles.
We didnt expect the game to end so quickly. It was so exciting that we will look forward to the next part. We really liked it, even if it was a little scary.
Finally! We liked the previous part and this not disappointed us – storyline is interesting. Thank you.
In the first house, all the puzzles are quite simple, but when you start to explore the house of the old lady, everything becomes much more challenging. We hope that we will be able to solve all of them. But for now we are stuck on a strange game in the box in the second house.
We cant solve the matching game in the old ladys house. We cant move on from here. But we like this game so much that we will try to do it over and over again.
When we started playing this game, we thought it was just a beautiful and relaxing story with simple puzzles. But as we moved forward, the puzzles got harder and the tension increased. And the ending was so scary that our heart is still beating at a frantic pace.
Uninstalled and reinstalled app, this worked to unfreeze the glitch at Mrs Harris house (ladder, bird house, etc.) Of course, at this point we were prompted to buy the whole game. :-)
Puzzles were pretty easy. Glad this wasnt a hunt-the-pixel nightmare. Was willing to pay to finish but didnt realize it was just part 1 and ends on a cliffhanger. Was a bit confused at first. Is the protagonist dragging around her own daughter throughout the story? Or were some of those supposed to be visions? Anyway the backstory was telegraphed in advance but we were playing for the resolution which isnt in the game. Sigh. As always we play these wondering what weird physics allows the arrangement of, say, fruit to pop up clues but hey we know, its the genre.
When is the next part going to be available?
We really enjoyed this game. The puzzles were a little on the easy side, but still satisfying. Our only issue is that it is really short. With a price tag of $4.99 Id expect more than a couple hours of game play. Im hoping that the to be continued is sincere and well get an update with more content.

We did not appreciate not being told that it was only a demo from the very beginning, we would have still played it , but getting halfway through the game and only then being notified its 4.99 just to finish it. No thanks , we dont like being bamboozled into paying to finish. We might have bought the entire game if we knew it was a demo from the beginning. That being said, we still very much enjoyed what we did get to play, beautiful artwork, and definitely made us think, we like that in a game. Keep up the great work and just be more transparent in the future.
We loved this game but getting half way through it and then having to pay 5 dollars is a rip off.
This wasnt the best designed game to begin with. There was no directions with the puzzles, and you could start them, even if you didnt have what you needed to start. The only problem with that is you dont know you dont have what you need to do the puzzles. We would not pay to finish the game. Big pass.
Ok so we played the game and it was good at first un till we tried to go to the old ladies house and we couldnt go in unless we paid . Which we played the game for maybe 40mins and to almost be done and have to pay to finish we thought was a bit not worth it so let this be a warning that at the end if u want to finish u must pay ty for ur time.
We’ve played games by this developer before, most recently the motel game, which was pretty good. This one just didnt grab us, especially with a $4.99 unlock price. As a rule, we prefer to pay for games, but we just couldnt bring myself to click the button this time. If it were a couple dollars less, maybe. And now that we read reviews saying the game isnt even complete. Well, thats a big nope. There are lots better games of this type for iPad. Maybe Ill reconsider when the rest of it comes out, if the developer offers a deal. Maybe.
There are scenes and clues that do not work in the app. The neighbors home scene will NOT allow us to climb the ladder as an example! Its frustrating when you KNOW youre on the right track and the app wont work!!
This game is great but we should not have to pay $5! To progress to the rest of the game this is ridiculous and we will be deleting the game because of it.
We had the same problem as a previous viewer in September. We only got as far as the neighbors house and each time we clicked on the ladder, door, or bird house a window offering hints for $4.99 popped up. We tried leaving, coming back, and closing the app and we couldnt get around it. How frustrating!
They hook you into the game and then want you to pay to continue.
We finished all the haiku games available and was in need of another escape mystery game and found this. Lemme tell you, the puzzles are easy, the game is terribly short, and overall is not worth $4.99. We blame our curiosity for making us pay money for it just to see what would happen only for it to end with a cliff hanger.
Cant click on anything on the old ladys house. Door, ladder, bird house all do nothing. We’ve watched a walkthrough and have clicked just about every pixel on the screen.
Wheres the rest of the game?! We paid for the full version that lasted a whole hour. Thats it. Then we got to be continued. We guess they want you to pay again to finish the game. What a ripoff!
Glitch on the 2nd house with the ladder.
We paid for the game only to find out its only HALF of a game! We guess we have to wait till they finish it and then pay full price for the other half. Very disappointing, and no satisfaction of an ending. Boo-hiss!
Loved the story line, but couldnt go any farther than the neighbors house. So disappointing! This is our 2nd game by these creators and we wasnt expecting to only be able to go half way through the game. The first game didnt do this. Very crappy!!! Listen to your comments and change this problem!!!!!!!! Just read the developers feedbackI didnt realize it was a demo!!! If we had known that from the beginning it would have made a huge difference. Maybe that should be stated before the gamer gets into the game. Transparency is better than fooling people.
Before, his game supported Chinese. We had a good time. However, there is no Chinese in the recent models. We are very disappointed. We hope that the next update game can support Chinese – whether trial version or official version.
Intriguing and interesting game to play when you need to kill some time. Mystical plot and unexpectable twists of events.
The graphics are great, sometimes we even feel a little scary, because it reminds us of some horror movie. No bugs or glitches. Lots of scenes and thats good.
This is a wonderful game with a wonderful interface!!! Everything is super clear and easy to control! The app has puzzles that are rather relaxing than entangled which has a big plus for us. We like that this is a bit scary to play it.
We were so happy that this game was a return to the great work we have come to expect from this Dev. We were really disappointed in the Hollywood Motel, after loving all of their past releases. We have played them all! We got stumped once in this game but took a break and came back with a fresh perspective. The scenes are pretty and the story is a fun little mystery. We cannot say that the game or a movie can scare us but this game has something that makes our heart beating faster. The decorations, design elements, and the haunted house experience are great and create the system of a horrible world of dangerous creatures that come out at night. App deserves all 5 stars.
This is very interesting and exciting plot easily plunged us into the world of intricate puzzles and mysterious secrets. Time with this game just flies by. Playing this game we feel myself like a real detective.
Slowly going thriller with lots of detective skills required! It certainly touches our imagination and makes us feel involved. A little bit scary though, not a huge fan of that, but graphics and the plot worth it.
We like games with mystic and intriguing plot lines. This game has it and it is filled with a lot of puzzles and secret places. We like that interface looks very realistic and well detailed. The design is nice and pleasant for the eyes. There are a lot of mysteries to puzzle and things to do here.
Just so remarkably better than the Hollywood Motel game that came out before this one. This game is pretty easy but must be completely played to work (sometimes you solve a puzzle but if you havent found the clue to it first, the solution wont work) which was really confusing at one point but the text is helpful and hints were not necessary. Game aims to include a compelling story, which sort of works, and has really beautifully designed scenes. This is a great game and we look forward to the sequel!

This game is too attractive and we guess we spend too much time playing it! This is so interesting to solve riddles, mysteries and puzzles it gives! It have its own style, we think it makes this game unique and different from tons of other puzzle game. To our opinion, gameplay is really good, and quests, which given, sometimes very challenging, thats why, we guess, it will never be boring to spend couple of hours playing this game!
