Deck Box Dungeons is a fantasy themed dungeon crawler with a companion app that fits in a deck box.
Each player builds their adventurer by selecting a character card, equipment card, and special abilities card. Builds can range from a standard stealthy rogue with daggers, to a mage that wields a greatsword. Players must work together to slay monsters, complete encounters, and achieve the goal of their quest. Each quest has a different goal, from escorting a priest to complete a ritual to killing a giant troll that has been terrorizing a nearby town.
This companion app handles the quests and encounters allowing for quick setup times and streamlined gameplay. Random encounters and quest generation provides variety and replayability even when playing the same adventures.
This Board game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

The game app is broken! We were so looking forward to playing this game. A friend of ours gave this to us because we travel a lot And we like portable games. Unfortunately the app is very broken.After learning how to play the game online we decided to play a couple of solo games to get a hang of it before introducing it to our friends. Unfortunately the app stopped working after two or three dungeon cards are placed. The explorer buttons disappear or an error app will appear. We tried it three different times. Once on our iPhone and twice on our iPad. Both times it crashed. We see a lot of potential in this game but without the app youre going to need to download the scenarios from their website. Its not near as random or as fun we believe. Hopefully in the near future theyll fix the problem. Until then this will go back on our shelf and collect dust.
This really is a good app and does what it is intended. Issues for the dev. 1) On an IPad Pro 12.9 the buttons and recognition of the buttons are off. On the start screen, we have to press above New Game for a new game. Pressing New Game selects continue, Pressing Continue selects Lore, and Pressing Lore, selects Credits.
Its a great board game but the app needs landscape mode for iPad. Thanks in advance and we will update our rating.
We tried this on both iPhone and iPad, and it simply doesnt work. We can only see the left half of the screen, things are obviously not sized correctly. Big disappointment, please fix ASAP.
