We finished this game when months back when it came out, and we adore it! We already wrote a review on how much we love it. However, it recently started crashing whenever we try to open our completed save files, so we cant max out all our songs. We did try deleting the game and downloading it again, but it started crashing again. Please fix this bug because we really want to keep playing!

We love the game with all of our heart heck the original is our childhood game and we adore deemo but after playing the song magnolia for the basement our game constantly crashes we kept replaying the song hoping it wouldn’t crash and everytime we opened the auto file (which was saved after playing magnolia) the game would crash again. We thought the problem was storage and tried to remove as much as possible for the game but it kept crashing. We’re giving the game 5 stars because it’s a really good game and would highly recommend but if the crashing could be fixed we would greatly appreciate it.

Deemo Reborn has fun puzzles, all be it pretty difficult at times. The core piano gameplay is a unexpectedly needed upgrade. Its more fluid and easier to read, and much more pretty. But thats where the compliments stop. Our god they butchered the cutscenes, if a Microsoft Power point animation was enough to make people cry, then they have no excuse for having to cut, be sloppy, and overall have really mediocre CGI. The only time the CGI is good is when the producers name is on screen. They ended the game with bad CGI, but the END CREDITS look better than the climax of the story!!! Talk about placing effort in the wrong places. The reason we’ve gave the game 4 stars and not 3 is our expectations were rock-bottom and this game exceeded them. Sorta.

This is the Reborn that you probably played on PC or console but on the phone. The game is still on a six note field unlike the first game. So in a sense this makes Reborn easier than the first now that you can touch screen. At least they added the snowflake note sets back into the Snowflake song. It was missing from the Steam port. But at least we can hear Alice on the go. And cry all over again for the third time on the same story.

Better then the first game but still having problem calibrate this game which we still cant hit those correctly on [Normal] mode (maybe its the refresh rate on our iPhone SE not good enough).

The resolution is only around 1080p, while other games(eg Genshin) with prettier graphics can run stably at native resolution at 60hz. And the most confusing thing is that the whole game is running at 1080p, which including all the UI, texts, cutscenes , and also when playing songs. They could make this a lot better just by not to change the resolution of the entire game but the rendering resolution, but they didnt. If you plan to play this mainly on a iPad , we would not recommend you to buy it. Buy the original DEEMO, or buy this game on pc, dont buy this junk.

The game is pretty good and fun but there is one major problem that we cant overlook due to the reason that it impedes further progress for us. When we reach the basement and have to play the Magnolia song after finishing the song the game crashes every time and since the game auto saves once you finish the song when you load it up it just keeps crashing. Because of this we can no longer move forward in the game which is why we’ve decided to give this game two stars, it seems like a really good game but this one bug kind of ruins it for us. We hope the developer is able to fix this in the future so we can enjoy this game to its fullest potential.

The remake to DEEMO could have been full perfect. If it wasnt thats glitch where we cant load our save file after we play one song on the 2nd piano after the tree reaches 20.00m. We have beat the original DEEMO, but we cannot beat the remake because of the glitch. Rayark, if you are reading this, could you please fix this bug that was in the game so we can continue the remake please?

The game keeps crashing on us. We love it but now we cant even play it cos it wont let us open the game.

Open game for the first time – crash. Pickup music score – crash. Enter cut scene – crash. Play Magnolia – your save is ruined and will crash on load.

The game keeps crashing on us, preventing us on progressing through story. Will not install again until this is fixed.

Just got it and it sits loading on a black screen.

We were really excited when we saw this game and we forgot to read which devices were compatible. Im not entirely sure, but we dont think our iPad is compatible because we cannot even get to the main screen without it crashing. Cant wait to play once support is out for it though! 4 seems to be the average rating for this game so we will rate it that so it doesnt affect ratings too much when we cant play. This just launched so we hope it will be compatible soon, but even if it takes a while we trust itll be worth the wait.

Hello, the game so far has been going well for us on our iPhone 11 Pro Max. We havent gotten far in the game but we been having problems so far. The issues we have been having is how some of the scenes tend to glitch. That is not all, when we try to watch the clips from the projector in the game. It suddenly closes 5 seconds into the small clip. Another problem we been having movement speed of the character since it clearly is slow when we move around. Its good but wish it was easy to move since it takes a while when doing a 180 degree turn. And finally the loading of the background tends to take a while, and is all blurry. Our wifi is fast and our phone is clear up to date. The issue is the game not clearly being made well. Thank you for you time and hope to have these issues revolved.

Deemo was our first ever rhythm game, and Im happy to say that Im impressed with the remake. The character models and animations, environment and dialogue translate surprisingly well to mobile, and the introduction of puzzle mechanics and interactive environment fit well with the aesthetic and feel of Deemos world while even further immersing the player into the fantasy and mystery of the castle. To top it all off, the gameplay is rich, punchy and familiar and a welcome expansion to what the game has known in the past! Rayarks early design choices with Deemo and Cytus were sufficient, but lacked identity and while we were hoping to see some upgrades with the release of Deemo II, Im more than happy to have a grip on this early taste of what that game may be like. We were heartbroken when we saw the early Deemo: Reborn trailers, we were desperate to give it a try but lacked the hardware so we cannot explain our excitement when we saw it coming to iOS! We were prepared for the game to have its shortcomings a transition from PlayStation/VR to mobile is a drastic one, but we were thoroughly impressed with the upkeep of visuals and resources. We only wish that we could say the same about the UI. The glaring white of the games UI is jarring to say the least, and the progress wheel in the corner of the screen as opposed to the bar at the top takes up unnecessary space and drags you by the leg out of your suspension of disbelief. We have genuinely no idea why they changed it, the percentage progress is completely unnecessary and the overload of information makes the ending screen practically useless not to mention the choppy, painfully rendered castles that appear after an FC or AC. The text and fast speed of the render genuinely scared us the first time it showed up, and it only makes us upset that THAT is what they decided to replace the original coin designs with. :( Similarly, the individual wheels during the ending screen feels clunky as well. Why not simply show the numbers? We understand the effort, a minimalist, white and clean UI is often praised for the ability to suspend your disbelief but with Deemo: Reborn, it feels like it has the opposite effect. Too much unnecessary information clogs the screen, but during the exploration segments theres too little information. Exploration is… A slog. We expected that, to be fair, and it doesnt take away from the central gameplay but it makes us unexcited to solve puzzles, and even approaching the piano can be difficult sometimes. A more streamlined control system and faster camera speed could fix this issue. Adjusting the camera speed only makes the end speed faster, for some reason which could very well be a glitch, but its an unfortunate one. :( Too little of the environment can actually be looked at, and trying to move the camera will throw it into a completely undesired location. To sum it up, this game makes us excited. Excited to experience Deemo through a new lens, but also for the game to improve. As of now, we are happy to explore the game as it is but we hope that overtime, its shortcomings will be able to become features of the game that we and future players will be able to appreciate. :)

As the title suggests, the game is pretty phenomenal right out of the gate. The music is as fantastic as we remember from the original Deemo, and the puzzles within the game are fairly intuitive to solve using touch controls. The one major issue we’ve encountered so far is during multiple cutscenes is the animation will freeze up despite the audio continuing without any issue (although we cant rule out it just be a problem with our phone rather than something in the game itself). Closing and relaunching the game seems to fix the problem so far, but it is slightly irritating to have to do so with about every other cutscene. Other than that, we are absolutely loving this experience so far.

DEEMO -reborn- is a game where you play as a little girl with a very black slenderman thing that plays the piano. Now this may sound not very fun but it very much is. If youve played NOSTALGIA in arcades, this is exactly the same, but what sets this apart is the absolutely incredible story and artwork. Only reason Im giving it 4 stars is it crashes way too much on an iPhone 8. In any other case, amazing game.

It loaded fully but the screen is black… Unable to play.

We met bugs when we through guidelines.

This game is conceptually a great idea for moblie, easy to play tapping rhythm game, a beautiful, yet simple 3D reimagining of the first game on mobile. But you guys botched it, you really botched it. This is a list of grievances we have with a couple hours into the game. 1. Right from the get go, this game is slow paced, like the movement is slow. It is incredibly clunky in its movement and camera control, which has an unfavorably narrow range of movement. 2. The ui is a far cry from what it was in the og, its hard to navigate, hard to manipulate, and out of nowhere, it will pull a fast one on you and change your settings. The settings department is lacking, it would be cool if we could jave a better range of graphics, but we only have the dim default and the understandable low quality settings. The volume changing in the settings is clunky, you can tell from the beginning of your play through that they were lazy with changing the ui to mobile. How, you may ask? Because they literally just made everything button input a tap. This would be okay if the ui was just updated a little to be suitable for mobile. It is clunky, icons are too small, changing settings is a process, and finding songs is a clunky process. The least they couldve done is added controller support to the game, but they didnt. 3. The gameplay aspect of the game was what let us down the most. For one, it was clunky, your taps never felt like they were there, the note part of the screen is incredibly small, making it a a hassle to play, being that the line doesnt feel like its in the right spot. They couldve made it bigger, they couldve added controller support, they couldve made the gameplay easier on the eyes. It was clunky and felt like you were playing on a foldable chair, great in concept, turning something big into something portable, but then you use it and youre just uncomfortable. Though one thing we really liked was the structure of the rooms, the puzzles, character design, and obviously, the story. Only thing im in it for other than the soundtrack. Oh and for reference, im playing on an iphone 12, it shouldnt have the problems it has, this did recently launch, but still, this was lazy, the fact that you didnt add controller support for a game that is made for controller is annoying, now our fat fingers get in the way of this would be beautiful game. Its not great from launch and we hope the updates fix these problems. Then again im just a jerk soooo.

EDIT: Bumping the review down to 2 stars from 4. WHY are you not showing us which iPhones are compatible? We had to google for this info and the minimum is a iPhone XS. Having iOS 13.0 on older phones doesnt make a difference and is not playable at all. The gameplay is the same as the original Deemo, but Im enjoying the added puzzles and secrets in each room. The music is great as always (though with some changes to some pieces). BUT theres a lot of small things that was annoying: -Give more graphics options other than Default and Low -Navigation for selecting songs is slow and clunky. We can swipe left and right for Selections, but we have to tap the arrows to change songs. It gets tedious when Im trying to flip through songs in the main collection -When you tap on a collection on either side of the one in the center, it selects the one in the center instead of selecting the one next to it -We can zoom in and out of puzzles, but we cant adjust zoom when walking around -The game is landscape locked to one side.
