Love this game! When will there be new episodes?
Ill start by saying we’ve been playing this game for a while and we do enjoy it. The gameplay is fun and challenging and we like the ongoing story. That being said you do get to a point where you absolutely have to spend some kind of money if you want to continue. We have bought a few of the package deals they offer. Not a ton of money but more than we normally spend on these types of game. Our most recent purchase however was a complete joke. We paid for two packages and received NOTHING of what we paid forI tried repeatedly to contact their support and got nothing but a generic reply saying they would contact us soon its been 3 days now and we have been sending endless messages. We’ve still gotten no replies. Thankfully Apple service refunded us our money. But we advise against spending any money on this game. We will not be making any further purchases and if that means we stop playing the game it is what it is.
Been playing the Emilys series since it was just a computer game & this app is SO awesome! So may different stories and we havent finished the game yet! Just challenging enough and is really the perfect time-management game.
We love all the games from Gamehouse, but this game we cannot play it. We spent a whole day to try to begin this game, but nothing happened. We are very sure that WiFi is good because we can play other games smoothly. We need your help to solve this issue. Thanks a lot.
Played game few years, recent updates changed how much coins you get from playing bonus levels, and they changed the upgrade costs to higher. Game is pay to win now, shame great soundtrack and gameplay but horrible management from devs good luck.
This game is fun with one huge caveat. They run a particular ad for a game called Crazy Hospital: ASMR doctor. Look, we come here to play a chill little cooking game that keeps us engaged without being overwhelming. Under no circumstances do we want to see ads for centipedes being pulled from holes you cut into someones ear! Freaking gross! Turned one of our fav little games into something unplayable.
We are upgrading part of our original review. After posting it, the support team did get back and thanked us for noticing an error that the upgrades were indeed mis-priced, and they did lower the amounts. They did not, however, change the amount of coins that can be earned from playing bonus levelsthey have become even lower than in previous episodes. The number of coins from replaying Level 52 (the highest level of this episode, which requires several boosters to win), is 938 coins. If it were not so greed-induced, it would be funny. Original review: In the new episode that finally came out (besides being rambling, boring, and nearly incoherent), the amount of coins one can earn from replaying a level has diminished EVEN MORE. Now, you can only earn a few hundred coins, not even a thousand or two. The upgrades in the first episode of a new chapter used to be less expensive given the player was starting with 0 of the new currency, but that is no longer the case. Additionally, the new episodes are so difficult that they are virtually impossible to beat without using boosters of some sort. We had been hoping that the surveys you have been sending would lead you to less greedy practices. Instead, the opposite is true. Shame on you.
We only give it 3 stars because despite having the new update the apps sound will not work properly. This is a fun game and for sure a fave of ours. If you like time management style games then this is one is worth trying for sure!
We purchased diamonds, it said our purchase was successful, so where is it then!
We love this game finally found an awesome game that caught our attention. BUT DUDE THIS PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS!!! Had to delete the game. How you expect us to upgrade things when the prices are to high. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Beyond your greedy, money-grabbing ways, you now have players who are awaiting the new episode playing for coins they will be unable to use in the new episode (if it is ever created), since currency does not carry over between chapters. Instead of being able to play for diamonds (and the paltry amount for the daily challenge is an insult), one must play basically for no reason. Why have you let this Emily game (which we know is a fan favorite) twist in the wind while you develop other boring games, which cannot possibly garner much interest. We are truly disappointed in your lack of response to your fans.
The coins do not transfer from season to season. We really dont like that bc we played/worked for them.
Decent game, could use better prizes but the new episodes take much too long, over two months and still nothing. If you want a great game that consistently updates and has new episodes constantly try Cooking Diary.
After season 9 released in September we notice that people love the SBM version than the ACTUAL game so we looked into and holy! 1 you give less coins now? What the actual yuck?!? And now we can put myself in somewhere and get the Christmas skin of Emily Witch we LOVE please fix the coin system or this game is gonna die.

This game is very fun. Like diner dash but more exciting. Was having a problem and the developers helped us very quickly. Updating our rate to a 5 now.
We play a lot of cooking games (which is ironic since we cant cook in real life lol) but this is the best. The graphics are great and smooth and the challenges are sometimes tough but so worth it to get through because the story-line is amazing! If this were a show on Netflix Id binge watch it! Great characters, Emily, Patrick, Frank (my favorite; hes hilarious!), Sarah, Emilys mom a world of different characters all linked together in one big story. Im waiting for season 10 to start already because we’ve been through all the levels so far in this game. We only take 1 star off because sometimes you can double your coins that you earn in a level by watching an ad and sometimes there are days when you can only double your coins two times or so instead of a bit more like 6. Then we just decide not to move forward until we can get more coins. Theyre needed for upgrades and another reason we take 1 star off is that when a new season starts, you dont get to keep the money that you won from all the other levels. You start at the bottom with $0 and have a hard time upgrading anything without $. But we still have to say Im so addicted to the game that its one of the very few we will pay money to get boosts and upgrade kitchen stuff and food items. We wish we could get all our friends to play this game! Totally worth it!!! :)
We were ready going to rate it higher because we love the game so much but we got ripped off our delicious world coins… We were going to purchase an upgrade for our kitchen and it stored abruptly.. When we opened it again all our coins had gone.
We’ve been playing this game for a long time, and we’ve spent money on it many times. It used to be that you could go back and earn coins to do upgrades, and you can no longer do that, which forces you to spend money if you want to advance. And the amount of money is unreasonable, which has caused us to not play the game anymore. For example, this last episode we spent at least $30 and still cant proceed because we would have to spend more, which we refuse to do. So Game House greed has lost a player. Bummer, because we enjoyed the game for many years.
We love the game bt it requires to many diamonds to finish a level & only pays 1 diamond per win.
We love this game! Its very entertaining and helps to pass the time. However, the ads are pretty awkward when Im out with family/ friends since they are sexually suggestive. We really hope they put different ads!!

We’ve been playing this game for a bit but now will delete it. We got to season 6 and as others have said its too hard to get enough coins for a upgrade therefore it just gets to either spending money, which we have but wont anymore or just give up. Since we see these problems have been here for a bit in reading the other reviews we wont continue. If anyone is reading this dont bother starting this, unless you enjoy frustration!!
When a new member new one starts it does not give any instructions on what to do.
This use to be our favorite game. But now the levels in the later chapters are impossible to beat without boosters. They have made it so if you want to progress then you need to spend money. We also have monthly subscription so paying even more money is a total joke. When you start a new chapter you are only getting $330 coins for the level but the upgrades continue to cost more as you go through each chapter. We need to upgrade a blender which is $16k but how can we do that when Im only getting small amounts of coins. We saved up $50k In coins thinking we could upgrade several thing in the next chapter only to have to use $35k just to get am extra spot on our tray at the start of the new chapter! Talk about cost inflation for upgrades. Do yourself a favor and play a different Emily game that you actually have a chance to progress in.

Ok this game we absolutely loved with the story telling and the different episodes. However it eventually got impossible to pass levels without buying expensive boosts and upgrades. Of course we gave in and purchased bundles and coins and diamonds but it just got ridiculous. Every level needed boosts and upgrades. SMH we really liked this game. Too bad we cant afford to pay for play.
We’ve played this game for over a year, and really enjoy it. We love the time management and the challenge of some levels. That being said, over time theyve made it more expensive to upgrade one item, where you have to play for a few days to get enough coins to be able to upgrade. And now the daily tasks have been changed. Instead of getting coins for completing tasks, you get one diamond each. Theres no incentive to complete those, and with this latest change Im done. We really enjoyed playing, but its no longer fun, its frustrating.
We like the game very much but the forced ads are really ruining it for us. We realize the income that you get from running ads is why the game is free and am more than willing to play ads that give us what we need to play the game but come on! The ads that just pop up turn the sound off. We have to get out and then get back in to turn the sound back on. So close to deleting this game that we genuinely enjoy playing. We dont play the game nearly as much as Id like to. If we give up and delete the game Im not watching any of your ads!!
This latest change is it for us. You used to get a lot of coins for completing the three daily challenges, which helps a LOT with upgrading your kitchen (since upgrades just get more expensive as you progress). Now, you get ONE diamond per finished task for a total of three diamonds a day. You want more coins to be able to play? You HAVE to buy them. Ahhh, no thanks. We’ve been playing for years, and now Im deleting this. Its a shame, cause it was a really good game, but it succumbed to greed like all the rest. And save your canned Developer Response. Im not contacting customer support, Im just deleting the game. There are a million other games out there to play. Thanks anyway.
Its Chinese new yearI just never heard of Lunar new year ever, whats happening this year??
We made an in app purchases and it said that our purchase was successful but then a pop up popped up saying about a unstable internet connection, we think and we didnt receive what we purchased ($9.99 – 650 Diamonds). We then connected to our internet connection, in our house, to see if that would correct the problem. It did not. Then not thinking, we made another in app purchase, thinking that maybe it wasnt because we were connected to the house internet. That purchase m $12.99 for 650 Diamonds and other items, said that the purchase was successful but then it said that the internet connection was unstable, again, and again, it did not give us what we purchased. Then we googled what to do when you make an in app purchase that goes through but you dont get what you purchase. It said something about seeing if there is an option to restore. We checked the phones settings and the the app on our phone to see if there was something there, but we didnt see anything on the app on our phone to restore the app. We then went into the App Store and went to the app here. We didnt see any restore option here, as well. We did see that the app had an update, so we updated it. It still didnt do anything. The other thing they said to do, is to restart your phone. We did that as well, but still nothing we will try to connect to our house internet to see if that might work, after trying everything else, and see if that might do the trick. If this still doesnt work, can you credit our app with what we purchased, $9.99 – 650 Diamonds and the $12.99 combination 650 Diamonds and other additional items. Or if you cannot do this, can you at least have Apple ITunes or Apple, refund us the money for these purchases. We would greatly appreciate it if you could do either one of these we tried connecting to our house internet and that still did not correct the problem. We did see that there is a settings in the game and a way to context you there with different problems – in app purchases and we will try to see if we can get this corrected this way, as well. We will try to do agile up review, once we try this. Thank you.
Good game we enjoy but doesn’t work in airplane mode, which is usually when we enjoy our online games. Sadly, we will probably have to delete because we put it on 2 devices that do not work unless you have wi-fi. Not sure of the logic in that.
The game has no sound either inside the level or on the front page, but the sound of the other apps is normal.
It is Chinese New Year, not Korea New Year. Its okay for Koreans to celebrate the Chinese New Year, but we cant change it into Korea New Year just because they also celebrate it. It just like saying Korea Christmas because Koreas are celebrating Christmas. This is a great game but the new year story makes us feel offended. Hope that will be changed.
The developers keep changing how you earn coins and diamonds. Right now the levels Im playing earn 3000 coins but upgrades cost 73,000 coins. How am we supposed to upgrade our kitchen and beat these levels exactly? This isnt working- it would be great to go back to giving coins as a reward for the daily challenges or letting us earn the actual coins earned when replaying levels.
We really liked this game until we saw the little story about the Chinese New Year. A Korean lady get angry because people celebrate Chinese New Year on HER street, or because it Not called Korean New Year Are you sure the developer not taunting the Korean New Year at the British Museum? Deleted this App already!!!
We love this game. But we would like an explanation as to why we paid for no ads but continue to get them. With the new update an ad after every level is exhausting and annoying. So we coughed up a few bucks to be able to play without a stupid ad popping up every minute. We played one level without an add and then on the next level, an ad immediately after. This is making us not want to play and Im very frustrated that we paid money for something that now Im not even getting. Please consider changing your ad model so that we dont have to watch one every two minutes. And please refund us for our most recent purchase or actually follow through with your no ads promise. This is ridiculous. Its exhausting and Im sick of the developers updating the rules whenever they feel like it. Daily tasks used to reward you coins, which was pretty much the only way to earn enough coins to upgrade your kitchen. Now, with this most recent update, thats not even possible. We used to love this game and play every day. Today, Im deleting it. We hope in the future the developers reevaluate their choices.
We’ve played all the Emily games and was real sad when the individual games stopped! We didnt realize that delicious world would be what we were missing for a year! Im so glad we found delicious world, we just wish there was an ad free version.
By far one of the better cooking games that we have tried. We love that it is not overpacked with graphics like some others are while you play. We found the instructions to be clear, the story line is cute, gaining points and diamonds is fun, and the prices are very affordable. We spent hours playing before putting it down the first time. Kudos to you! However, our personal issue began in the middle of the third level. The game was maintaining our interest and we were enjoying the rise in difficulty. Then BAM. The time given to play compared to the speed of the challenges became so super fast that no matter how hard we tried we could not make it through the first star without failing. We finally thought this is not fun for us anymore. Dont get us wrong about this app! Our review is intended to compliment. Its good and we recommend it to those who like that sort of shift. To the app developers, you have a good game. Thanks for putting it out there. We wish you luck!
We love the Emily games. However, we do not like that the points you earn are reduced to some arbitrary number. We would prefer if you just made the extras more expensive than discount our efforts.
We’ve played this game for a very long time and have a love/hate relationship with it. We love the game and the story so we continue to come back, but over the years the developers have continued to tweak aspects of the game that make it harder to earn the coins needed to make upgrades. First they changed up the bonus levels to limit coins. Its no longer worthwhile playing the bonus levels. Then recently they changed the daily tasks to take away coin rewards and replace them with one single diamonds. Now the daily tasks are no longer worth the time. If we complete a task naturally through game play – fine, but we no longer work to complete the tasks. We used to play bonus levels to complete tasks, but that has become a complete waste of time. So, in a perfect world this would be our favorite game and five stars but the tweaking has diminished it to three.
After the 1st episode it makes it reallyyy hard to upgrade your kitchen without having to spend real money..
We used to really love this game, and we spent a good chunk of change each month purchasing diamonds to get the boosters to play. We didnt mind spending the money because we felt like we were getting something in return. But now? Well, the value is no longer there. The rewards are a pittance. They make no difference in game play. Earning one diamond for a daily task doesnt do much good when it takes 50 diamonds to purchase a booster. In the past, we would have eight opportunities to double our winnings each day by watching an ad, now we get two opportunities. We’ve been playing this game for a few years, but its no longer worth it. It makes us sad. The Delicious games were our favorite. Unfortunately, Delicious World has turned into a rip off.
