DERE EVIL EXE is both a terrifying thriller with a gripping story and an unorthodox retro platformer with unique puzzles and obstacles.
In DERE EVIL EXE, you step into the tiny shoes of a silent hero named ‘Knightly’. Knightly must jump, run, and manipulate environments in order to survive the heart-racing journey through a stunning pixel art world.
Within surreal structures lurk dangerous creatures known as ‘corruptions’. They take the form of their creator’s greatest fears. We loved this game, and got the hang of the controls after our second try at the whole game (spoilers ahead) the fact that the ending is reminding us how everything after lvl 2 was a bonus was hilarious in our opinion. Great scares, beautiful pixels, cute character designs :]
The only Downside is how the ads get to ruin the tense moments to be honest, but in general the game is amazing, the style, difficulty and story are simply perfect!
Im just gonna keep it simple. This game is very beautiful. The graphics are really nice and its got a nice story. While, it is decently difficult. The biggest issues we ran into her how close the controls are, so frequently youll miss a platform because you went in the wrong direction.
The game has a great story a hard but honestly fun mechanics amazing levels and characters it had us wondering who was evil but we still dont know who is but we love it.
We’ve been playing this game for 6 days, we’ve gotten all the endings, but we’ve played this when we were 6 years old. It was terrifying for us, and we couldnt beat level 3, but now we have, and we can say Im excited for the next game, if there is going to be one!

This game is amazing with a platformer and horror story, and for the players who wants a challenge.
This game was hard and we raged quit but Im happy we finished it in the end because the story was soooo good.
Aides voice was like super duper hot and made us get a boner, Yanna was mid though.
We had heard a lot about this, and yet we cant relay what we’ve heard. The gameplay is rage game esque and the story (the one thing keeping us from quitting) ended up being quite lackluster. We liked it, but we just cant reccomend it.
Love it, you should go play it, it is a short game so once your done then go play something else.
This game made us hate our soul even more and that is why it is great.
It was great and they also took advantage of the fact there’s adds too add to the game in a fun way. Plus he gameplay is fun can’t wait for the next one.
Not just an average platformer. The horror, story, 4th wall breaking, mindbending.
When we first downloaded this game we thought oh it looks easy but when we played it we realized it was WAY HARDER THEN we THOUGHT but we finished the game it is scary but cool and so much fun at the same time we would definitely recommend to play this game if you like VERY HARD GAMES.

The game is good. Its a decently challenging platform with a nice psychological horror aspect (thats not overdone), especially for a short game(depending on your platforming skill). 8 out of 10 we recommend.
We wont lie the game was frustrating at times and made us want to quit multiple times however we preserved though and it was 100% worth it. The game was insanely fun even if it lasted just a couple hours. The ending was a bit of shock too so we greatly recommend you to play this game out but beware as there are a couple jump scares.
We didnt play the game that came before but you dont need to. The lore lets you piece enough together to understand its past and at the same time builds a beautiful yet slightly tragic current narrative. In regards to the platformer style of play, it takes some careful planning on some levels. Our advice? Think 3 moves ahead and youll finish the game.
The only complaint we have the game is short but the game is so good it makes up for it.

This is a fun game to play we are probably going to play it again just to see if there are things we missed. It is very good at the creepy and jumpscare parts. Gameplay is great too.

So we’ve never written a review but we just had to for this game! It was amazing!! We lived all of it, it was quite hard but we got through it and we beat the game! We 100% recommend this! We just loved it so much!
We have played both the first and second game multiple times. The game is enjoyable, the instructions were made to be out of the norm, there is satire, and the story made us happy. The game is immersive and really draws you in as not playing a character, but actually being the player and a character yourself rather than just watching somethings happen in third-view. We must say it has been our favorite game for many years.
That jumpscare was very creative and really got us. Great job with whoever came up with that!
A little YouTuber called YuB let us to get this app and honestly we love that we’ve been stuck on one level for so long we love how it like deceives you into thinking certain things and to be honest one of our favorite games of all time. Thank you devs!
Amazing documentary that successfully captures the almost forgotten events of The Great Deletion.
It is an unforgiving game with challenging platforming that really throws your knowledge of others like Mario for a loop. The only thing we dont like is the egregious amount of ads after you die and even pause the game.
We love this game!! The art and graphics are beautiful, and the controls are great, and the storyline has us hooked. However, we are having a difficult time passing some of the later levels. It would be amazing if you could add an easier mode, so those of us with poor hand eye coordination like us, could finish your amazing story.
We change our old 4 star review when we said the jump button wasnt responsive always. Not true. Meant to say your finger doesnt always hit it or the right arrow. Maybe make that larger. Idk. It honestly rarely is an issue but since you wanted feedback hee it is.
Overall a good game just way too many ads.
Its so unbelievably ridiculous that there isnt enough checkpoints, like youll get through a hard section and then have to do it all over again because theres no checkpoint.
Could have more potential if it had controller support. Although the story is short, its good but the jump scares were not that good nor the controls, as we previously mentioned. 3/5 stars.
We give this game a five star review but we are on the same level that that other guy was on and we tried well not much but Im gonna search up how to beat it. We searched up how to do it but it said we were too young.

We’ve played almost every game from this creator, and this game is definitely one of the best. The jumping is kinda jank, making the game actually pretty hard. Also the horror elements are pretty cool, since they dont intrude with the difficult gameplay but adds a cool touch. Nice.
The ending is fantastic and we love this game. The genre is amazing.
