Amazing game. Has given us hours of fun, with an insane amount of depth for a free game.
By far the best roguelike deck builder we have played. Very fun and challenging at times. We play this game every single day and never get bored with it. One of the best things is its not a pay to win like 99% of games on here even though we did buy some stuff to support. Wish we could expand the game with more worlds and monsters and maybe even new characters! Amazing job on this game cuz we will be playing it till we beat it 100x.
There are still a lot more ads than there were a year ago, but theyve fixed the big banners that covered up part of the text on the screen, and the rest of the ads are skippable.
This game had a lot of love put into it. The art style is unique and well made and the gameplay is at its base simple but can become very complex with card combinations! Every run will give you a fun and different adventure. Its a great time killer and a fun one at that. Everything is completely free except a character or two. Once you play through youll fall in love and have 0 problem shelling out $3 for a new character! All in all, this game is truly brilliant and we have so much love for it!
So much replayability, so much diversity with cards and artifacts and especially the monster designs. We absolutely love the amount of creativity that has gone into this game and the fact its fully playable without internet. Theres so many ways to play and you can access everything but a few characters for 0 dollars. We love this game dearly and pray for more from it.
An absolute perfect game in our opinion. -Plenty of free playability -awesome art work, vibe, buttons, layout, interface – affordable buyable characters -wicked cool Enemies -collectibles -potions -artifacts -just download it.
We have never left a mobile game review in our life but this game man. The perfect mix of art style, great music, simple combat but filled with strategy and combinations, interesting characters, tons of enemies with different abilities that change how you play, all the different elements they throw at you in the game (the tavern, the gambling book, the artifacts). We cant really explain better how well made this game is, the attention to detail and love for the genre. We cant wait to keep playing and see more updates, please never give us a reason to stop playing.
We have had so much fun with this game! We have put over 8 hours in this week, while we have a full time job, a wife, and a 2 year old. So that should tell you how many times we open this app whenever we grab our phone. Please try it out!
We have over 80 hours in this game. The basic concept – dice-based combat, basically battle Yahtzee – never gets old. There are six different character classes, each with four "difficulties" that don’t just change how tough the enemies are, but how the characters actually play. You can master easy difficulty, but medium might mean a completely different strategy. You can get pretty far in this game without spending money. There’s a daily package in the store where you can get 100 gems plus other stuff by watching an ad, and you can use those gems to offer in-game perks. But this leads us to another great thing about the game: if you do want to spend money, the upgrades are so inexpensive. Several of the character classes cost money – a staggering $1.99 each. Anyone can afford that. If they were five bucks each we wouldn’t be writing a five-star review, but the developers have kept things accessible and that’s awesome. Honestly, eighty hours is more than we’ve put into almost any other game in our life, and as we said, there’s still a ton of content we haven’t even accessed yet – daily challenges, custom challenges, minigames, and all sorts of stuff. This is hands down the best free app on the App Store.
Honestly its one of the really greatest games we’ve played in a very long time and we’ve had it forever. We just wish theyd add a lot more to do mission wise because we completed everything and we want to keep going.

We’ve never written a review before but this game deserves the five stars. The only complaint we have is that you cant get most of the characters with gems and instead you have to pay but its only a few dollars.
This game gives off big Quarriors and Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards vibes. It has a small learning curve but a moderate degree of strategy. We only wish there was an option to buy the entire game outright – we would have taken it within the first hour.

This game is fantastic, especially for a mobile game. We beg of you, Doublethink, put this on Steam for PC. Id pay an easy 10-15 dollars to have a version of this game with all the characters unlockable from the start and no ads.
Really enjoying this game. Gameplay is quick and flows well. We could see myself playing this during our commute or while waiting for friends at the bar. But, theres no option to make the game ad free. Small complaint, not major, but still. Can we just give you $5 to play a hassle-free game?
This game looks pretty good! It has some interesting mechanics, events, and enemy designs! But thats only because it looks oddly similar to another game called Dicey Dungeons. The spells you can cast in that game are in individual squares, similar to this game, that you have to put your dice into. The shock effect in that game and the overload effect in this game have almost identical animations. In both games you can choose between six different characters. We wouldnt say you were inspired by Yahtzee, Id say you took a lot from Dicey Dungeons to make your game but hey, this game is unique enough for us to want to play both.
Ads arent forced down your throat all the time. So far the game is not pay to win, which is a plus.
Ads should go away after purchasing something to support or a new purchasable item.
Gameplay is the same over and over, just limit cards you can have.
Loved this little game, so we paid to remove the ads. But, there are still 30 second ads?!?!? A shame that a fine game has been crippled with adverts that take you out of the experience. Id have paid 10 bucks just to get the game, without being forced to wait and look at some other app while playing this one. Please, make it right developers! You are tanking a perfectly good game. Cant believe we paid good money to unlock the full game. :/
Great game, very much like dicey dungeons and great replayability. It could do without the anti-Semitic goblin enemies. These guys are honestly a deal breaker for us, this game has such great potential and if they removed the goblins this would be 4 stars. You also have to pay real money to purchase new characters after the first two, which could be replaced by having to purchase them with the green gems like how you have to with the stealthy. We would let it slide if you can buy them with real money but then can later unlock, but its just micro-transactions. Im ok with the other micro-transactions but the characters seem a bit much. These two edits and it would be a perfect 5-star game!
We like the game truly and its a great design but the fact that we cant even pay to remove ads is the worst. Id be happy to pay up to $5 if it meant permanently removing ads. Until theres an option we cant raise the rating or recommend it currently.

The game is fun and a few hours of enjoyment can be found. However, all characters except the starting one are behind a pay wall. They combine to form a ridiculously high price for a mobile game.
Was on a good run, decided to pick an ad boost for new card, lo and behold the ad froze our phone up. We closed the app and hope to use the common resume feature only be taken back to the very first room in whats essentially a new run.
We used to love this game, but now it has ads that will minimize your game and try to scam you with a fake Amazon page. Im done playing until that style of ad is removed.
The Every Day purchase is deceiving. You dont get the bonuses every day if you pay. You have to PAY every day for that one. That is really lame, decieving. How many tries at this game does someone need to get a clear. This is waaaaay too grindy, and waaay too AD driven. Im sure if we buy the Vip pass foe $5 there will STILL be ADS somewhere. Ad an option to GET RID OF ALL ADS!!! And finally, please make the game a little easier. Make the costs for potions less expensive. Its cool the game tracks total stage clears but cripes. We’ve been playing this for HOURS and not even close to getting a clear or a win. We have to go thru and win 4 levels to get a clear. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE for the first 3-4 hours of game play. Thats a good indicator this is TOO HARD. Monsters are over powered. Fun game but its obviously a $ grab. Would be awesome if AD free and you eased the difficulty level.
This used to be our favorite mobile game by far. Now the ads they added make it unplayable.
Was a fun game until you progress to the point where they implemented the blind mechanic. Completely ruins the game play. It turns what was a strategy game of choosing the best cards into a random guessing game. Really bad decision to implement that mechanic. Edit: it gets worse. Its infuriating when a game establishes a mechanic and then abandons it at the final boss. All the way through the game you use de-buffs. But the final boss main mechanic is all debuffs go back to the caster.
Tired of the ads sick of this game.
Game is really great, and the ads were fine until we started to see religious propaganda, pick better ads this shouldnt be seen by kids.
After who knows how long, many hours, and money spent we lost all our progress. Im not playing hours again.
This is one big advertisement made to look like a game.
We have enjoyed playing this game for years, and now suddenly there are ads when youre battling monsters and no way to opt out of them. It really takes away from our enjoyment of the game, especially because even purchasing something from the store doesnt get rid of the ads. Im disappointed in the development team, especially given how sensible the ads used to be in the game.
We have played this game for a looooong time. We bought the extra characters and we loved this game, but now it just stopped working. It keeps freezing up. Im so sad. Did the developers just give up on this game??
As usual; the game was great until it wasnt. Just like EVERY other app, play the game until they make it impossible to move forward without paying them money. Same garbage as the rest of them. Remember when we were able to play games because they were games and not a crooked business model. Pathetic like the rest.
Problem one whole game besides one character is locked behind paywall Problem two Major issue we were constsntly bombared by ads opening up other windows and store pages while im in game. Problem three terrible balance and bug tuning, all our runs had an artifact that didnt work and effect/card balance is all over the place. Problem four constantly bombarded by opportunities to watch ads for small things, however if you accidental click there is no way to back out and the ads that aren’t spam will sometimes just replay themselves.
Great game and we love the style but we just wish you could be more characters without paying.

We were looking for a dungeon crawler to play on the go and this is it. We absolutely love the art style. The characters each how their own abilities and backstories which actually makes getting all of the characters worth it.
We never have written a review, but this game has been such a surprise we felt it was necessary. We have sunken many hours into this game, completing both the free characters entirely. The ads are never shoved in your face, and the only negative we can say about this game is that you will never be able to put it down. Our friends say we have an addiction.
Probably one of the best mobile games we’ve ever played. Think of free slay the spire but with a gamble-y twist. Paywalls consist of new characters and any video ad you get is opened by your choice (watch an ad to get this reward type thing) fun game.
Im always looking for console quality rpgs with dice mechanics. This one is it! Great content, feel, art style. The works. Fans of D&D, pathfinder or adventure time would find this appealing. So stylish and fun. Not another slay the spire ripoff, more like pathfinder adventure card game (but this game doesnt cheat).
We never write reviews because we never feel that strongly about mobile games, much more of a PC player. However, that being said, GET THIS GAME RN !! It is so so so much fun, even if you dont opt to buy the additional characters, there is hours upon hours of fun to be had with the original free one. While we plan on getting the others eventually, we have 10 hours on the game and am only halfway through the tiers and challenges available to the original player character. And even then, each run is completely different and unique thanks to RNG aspect, so even replaying the previous tiers is fun and we learn more ! Get the game !!!
Recommend this game highly, too bad 6 stars not an option. Few adds, not a pay to play, and enough variability to make each game a unique experience. Reminds us of gathering to play cards with our college group. Takes a modest bit of play time to recognize the subtleties and nuances but they are definitely there and keep the game fresh. Kudos to the designers- you have summoned magic. Only suggestion is addition of a glossary of terms ( but half the entertainment is figuring them out and remembering). We will not delete this and will look forward to your offering. Sincerely Sequuitor.

So many high-quality aspects about this game but what we really love is the artwork. The characters and monsters are delightfully weird and imaginative. Gameplay is straightforward and the strategy is intense (which is hard to do well in a game-of-chance format), but those bizarre characters are just so much fun. Worth noting that the ads are pretty unobtrusive and are not necessary for successful quests. Love this game, just immaculately workshopped.
We love this game, download it, but we have a few things Id like to see and a fix is needed. -When we watch the ad for the little faerie wheel on champion mode and the reward is a card, we do not get said card. -I wish there were more purchase options. A flat fee to remove all ads from the game would be nice. As would a discount for buying all available players at once, we wouldnt be mad at spending money on this program. Big fan of the game, would love to see these changes.
