=== A WORD FROM THE DEVELOPER ===

Many of my favorite games growing up were platformers. So when I started making games for iPhone, I was keen on building a proper platformer for the system. I think my first attempt, SHAARK!, turned out fun but also quite short.

Dig Dog is a much larger and richer experience. Each time you play, the levels are freshly generated. Of course the worlds get steadily harder, but as you dig more you’ll discover a variety of challenges and goals. Will you spend your coins on a helpful item at the shop in 1-3 or horde them in an attempt for a high score. Maybe you’ll try to unlock new Warp Bones or try and beat all 4 worlds without dying. Or maybe just chill out in Free Dig mode with some cathartic digging.

I love destructive environments. You can pretty much dig up a whole level if you want. (Although that can be quite dangerous.)

As you dig more, you may start to find some of the game’s hidden depths. For instance, if you fast stomp on an enemy you’ll create sparks that ripple to the left and right. These sparks are both useful and dangerous. It depends on when and how you use them.

I hope you enjoy Dig Dog. I think there’s a lot to uncover here!

This game is really fun and addicting. Great when your bored and have nothing to do!

For those who enjoy rougelike games, digdog is a retro style classic that you shouldnt pass up! We are pleasantly surprised to find how fast paced, easy to learn, and challenging to master this game is! Great music, affects, and style!

Are you a dog? Do you love digging? Are you scared of ghosts?! If so, you better get this game right now! This is a super fun game with tons of levels and lots of cool strategy and tricks to learn and master!

This game was recently released, but we havent found any bugs, and everything feels tight. Well worth your money at the cheap price. Hard to not do just one more run.

We looked at the reviews before buying and Im surprised this isnt 5 stars across the board! Some reviewers might play this game and think its suppose to be something else then what it is, and for them its a shame.. Because this game is plenty challenging enough with high scores of speed, coin collection, and level completion. The only hard part to figure out is which score to make an attempt for! Definitely on our font app page for when we need to kill time or brag to our boyfriend. A must buy for sure!

We love our 8 bit dungeon crawling roguelikes and this one lets you play as a dog so Im in. Tight controls, great art and sound, just a superb game. Reminiscent of Spelunky, Downwell, VVVVVV.

We’ve had this app since day one, and it is a super fun retro style game where a dog searches for a bone. It really doesnt have any glitches nor does it have any lag. Our main suggestions are to not put things on the GameCenter leaderboards that havent been added yet and to add some kind of thing to the leaderboard regarding Free Dig.

We really really like this game. Its has a good challenge progression to it (starting off sort of easy and then getting more difficult). Its also very easy to pick up and put down. If you have two minutes or ten, this is a great way to kill some time.

Minus one star for generating a softlock once. Excellent game otherwise.

Cool game, would be nice to know what some of the power ups did though.

Gets pretty boring after a while, level are really only fun if you go super satan with your dog.

Controls are unresponsive, sometimes doing the opposite of the button we press. Its very easy just to dig straight down and then left or right to find the bone within seconds. The levels also feel too small. If there were more walls that couldnt be dug through, or ones that could fall on you it would make the player move more carefully.
