Used to love this game but we may stop playing since now they randomly force us to watch ads at periodic intervals. A gross money grab that has severely impacted enjoyment of the game.
We loved this game. It was clean and overall the best strategy rpg in the genre. Then Disney went Disney. In the middle of gameplay there they will force run ads of over a minute. This is random and will happen. Its faster to exit out and log back in to resume. We’ve found that we just quit playing and curse the app instead. If you want to play for free like you used to, just know Disney is going to run a train of ads on you. Stop with the ads. We cant even complete our daily tasks without an ad being forced on us. Very disappointing Disney.
Why am we getting less than a second to choose an attack when we never let our timer run out!!!!??? How has this bug been so prevalent and never getting fixed?? Our players are constantly moving by themselves causing us the match countless times. Wish we could give ZERO stars.
They started throwing up ads every couple of minutes. So many ads it makes it a pain to play.
The game is so fun and challenging. We like it because it is so good.
Whats going on with this game? It stopped working on our iPhone 13 mini in September (iOS 17), cant connect to server. It has been weeks and still not addressed. It still works on our iPad. Ads now pop up at any time. Sound for the game totally disappears after the ad plays.
Introduction of forced ads on the latest update. Deleted. Hope it works out well for them.
The game was fun but very difficult to get ahead without paying a fortune. With the introduction of ads randomly popping up that kills the game for us.
This is literally the best game ever made lol that last year was a life changing experience like bruh its so fun.
We cannot believe that Hades is actually good in two weeks. We got him to max stars because hes really good. Other characters are really good but Hades oh our God Im speechless.
Its an amazing app but we wish it wouldnt require wifi.
Dont get us wrong, this is a great game, we think its genius that you can have daily things to do, the only problem is, there isnt enough characters and, after level 30, it gets boring and repetitive, the devs need to start by adding other characters like Oswald plus a unique character exclusive to the game and add a unique thing to unlock it like, perhaps, make a Willy Wonka style thing where a few can get the character. But once they do that, we can say 5 stars.
This game is fun, dont get us wrong. And theres a lot of different characters, but we cant give it 5 stars. For one, you cant get ahead even remotely fast (I mean even weekly) unless you purchase packs. And these packs are pricey. $10-$100. We get its Disney but come on, really? Most people have trouble keeping a roof over their heads. Now, when it comes to actually playing. Dont waste your time spending gems on the summoner showdowns once youre out of free stamina potions. The other team will always start first, and youll be lucky if you even get a chance to take a turn. Honestly, we’ve contemplated even keeping the game so many times. Its fun but to play for free (or even spending $50 a week) you wont get far. They really need to change this. We get not wanting people to get ahead too fast and beat the game, but it would take YEARS to get a few good teams. Really wish developers would change this, and consider lowering prices for packs.
We have been playing this game for a few years. We used to love it! However, it takes way too long to level up the characters without spending actual money. Also, the random ads that now pop up are super annoying. No ads was the draw, but now they disrupt the game. Ill gladly watch an ad for gems, but the pop ups in the middle of games are frustrating.
Seems to be in some sort of low development cycle. This alone would be fine but to earn more money for this game on the decline they have employed some aggressive sales tactics. Expect pop ups in game and random video ads while trying to play. Expect more extreme free to play barriers in the future and monetization schemes. We miss what this game was, sad at what it becomes and only see a problematic future. We really hope they manage to turn the situation around.
Before all you haters start typing response reviews about how a company needs to make money to stay afloat and yada yada, we get it. And support it. Make that money to make a better product. However this is obnoxious. Optional ads for mediocre rewards. Fine. Pay to win mechanics with micro transactions from $10-$100 (which can be purchased up to twice by the way). We dont like it, but if we can put together a team of Flick, Sulley, Buzz, and Hades so be it. All of that plus forced partial to non-skippable ads? Nope. Nope nope nope, you can screw all the way off with that. Im out.
We can not stand telling a game skip tutorials and still bombarded by them, always trying to get you to accidentally click on ad to buy gems. Its this style the new generation has implemented that is destroying what made games fun, for once we want to play something that isnt a full blown scam for your data and wallet.
Game is riddled with bugs, nothing works as intended. Artwork is horrific, gameplay is fixed to make matches seem close(opponents or teammates will randomly survive fatal blows.) Save yourself the time and delete this app.
Its 3 years since we play this game the first time. Unexpectedly,some ADs have been added in the game . Firstly in the Tower Events and then ,in other events. And we have already invested 500 dollars in the game. Needless to say how disappointed we felt. Thus,it no longer fit. Bye,DSA,Bye,Glu,even though,it contained the characters from Disney movies that we love best.
Used to be great and now the ads are everywhere and in your face. So annoying and pop up everywhere and at random times. Plus some of the menu layouts have been changed and are utterly atrocious and hard to navigate. The problem isnt Disney, the problem is GLU Mobiles Design Team and their lack of listening to player feedback and trying too hard to make a quick buck. We’ve been playing since basically the start of the pandemic and when an ad comes on we just force close the game and reopen it so they dont get the ad revenue and we can say screw you to the developers. At least they wont make money off us even though theyre trying really hard.
We used to be able to play this game for free and would watch an occasional ad just to get ahead. Now ads pop randomly all the time without any warning. Its frustrating to try and get a few minutes of gameplay in here and there, but get bogged down with pop ups.
We no longer enjoy the game. Played this game and enjoyed it for a couple years now. Only needed to watch ads to get bonuses, and such, however with the latest update, ads now pop up at random, in the middle of battle, trying to upgrade a character. That really takes the enjoyment out. We understand they need to make money, but this wasnt an issue for the last couple of years. Now, the ads have gotten worse, forcing you to the App Store before giving you the option the close, sometimes the ads automatically take you to the App Store without you even touching the screen.
Refuses to connect to server for 2-3 weeks whats up?
Take it from someone who has it installed for almost 3.5 years. This is a money grabbing game. Especially, PARENTS be careful as this game is like a vicious cycle and your kids will spend all your money with a blink of an eye. Developers, since when you guys became such money grabbing scams? 99 dollar for bunch of tokens? Like really? We hope this game dies and soon it will. So make all money now while you can.
This is now our favorite battle game.
For the last week, we have been getting an error where we are unable to connect to the server. We have restarted phone, deleted app and reinstalled multiple times but still getting the error. We have also tried to find contact info to troubleshoot online, but no luck.
After 2 years of playing this game daily, theyve now added sporadic ads. No notice in the game update; we thought we had misclicked the first couple times. So far, 3 ads have cropped up in the middle of tower events. What a wild break from the gameplay we’ve invested in. We cant find anywhere they even give an option to pay and remove the ads. Wish we could get any money we’ve spent on this game refunded. Grinding was bad enough without ad pop-ups you cant fast forward through.
This was an extremely fun game but the last 3-6 months have been very stale with limited to no new content as well as implementation of forced ads for non-paying (Free to play) players. We would have and did recommend this game for over 2 years but not anymore.
We have played this game for over two years and never had the issue of not being able to log in due to internet issues. We guess this game does not like those who have been around a while and have never paid a cent. Developers see us as a way to get money not people they need to please.
This game is so laggy and needs so much Internet and takes up so much space on your phone and iPad or any of your devices that we cant even play the game and Im pretty sure if we did it be pretty lame anyway so just get brawl stars its way better game than whatever this is its trash so dont download the game trust me.
Been playing this game for 3 years. So we do enjoy it. But its been riddled with glitches since Day 1. Some of the SAME glitches have still not been repaired for years. With one of the newer updates you cant listen to your Spotify/iTunes at the same time you play. The game 100% takes over all other audio. Huge mistake. They also need characters after youve spent years and $100s of dollars working on. Game is on its way out.
So. Many. Ads. Game was fine until now. Suddenly, theyve added sporadic ads. As a free player, it used to be you could choose to watch ads and get rewards. We guess that wasnt making Glu enough money. Now they MAKE you watch ads whether you want to or not. They just pop up without warning. Then theres the addition of the FREE banner on the gems store. Hey Glu, things arent FREE if you have to buy or do something. Thats false advertising.
This game used to be good but then EA got involved and its being turned into a money grab with all new content being pay to win. Unless something major happens soon we dont see this game lasting much longer. Our advice is to stay away its not worth playing now.
As of late the management have made some very apathetic and bad decisions. Suppressing events to market the most recent characters. Suppressing resources to create artificial scarcity. Now there are forced ads thinking that will increase ad revenue. The sense is they are trying to squeeze as much money as possible with as little content as possible.

We really enjoy playing this game, but all of a sudden the last couple of days, no matter where we go, no matter how many times we restart our phone no matter how many times we delete and download the game over. It wont let us log in because of an internet issue. Trying to get support is even more confusing and not an option. So app support & game makers please help.
The first time we played this game we knew that it would be fun.
Cool game except for a lot of the human characters being uncanny, however we deleted it when we realized gizmoduck had a limited run and wont be returning he looks silly in the style of the game tho. Also gameplay is nice too ig.
Original review- Great game, loved it and was an active player for over 2 years. However we ended up stopping due to difficulty of progression at the endgame. If they revamped challenges to be a reward to difficulty scale and made star levels cosmetic to focus the game on card collecting instead of leveling. Loved the game and would return if the game was revamped to be more collectible focused and less p2w. New review-This game was awesome and they killed it, the lack of updates was the driving factor, but when we opened it up for the first time in months after it updated,I found that they made a in app purchase focused update(Why) and will never play this game again unless Disney buys it and pumps some content and f2p aspects into it. To be fair though we did ask for a collection based update and they delivered-in the worst way possible. DO NOT GET.
It doesnt let us in. Every time we try to go in it just says,unable to connect to server, please check your internet connection and try again, BUT we AM CONNECTED TO THE WI FI, AND IT STILL SAYS THIS It looks like a fun game, but we cant play it because of this Please Fix This.
Its pretty well developed, but theres a few things that it lacks that makes the game suffer. 1) Energy/Stamina is low, slow to earn, and you fly through it quickly (even when just starting out) and leaves you with no option but to either wait for hours or buy with money. 2) No beginner events 3) Entry events to obtain chances at heroes are nonexistent. Everyone has the same heroes unless if you pay to get more. Beginner events are imperative and common in almost all games (including the other Disney games). There should be newbie events and opportunities to obtain heroes with RNG to open up the opportunity for different players to have different heroes in the beginning to have different experiences, rather than it be the strict set heroes. We think this game could have so much potential if a few things were changed to encourage new players to stick around.

Bring back all the anniversary bundles so players can get tailsmans that were only available for a day or two so that players can complete their talisman collection. Bring in Atlantis, Lilo and Stitch & Treasure Planet characters for the game.
What is a really good things about thisGame Is that theres no ads! Its also really fun to play and you get to defeat bad guys, but whats really cool is that you could also defeat the guys too. We hope you guys enjoy this game like we did!!!
This is a great game but we’ve only one complaint. Dont waste your time with the free gem surveys they redirect to different links, you fill out countless surveys and never receive your rewards.
All our characters are at level 30 and in the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs mission (the 1-c to be precise) the opponents are seven and at level 25. We’ve been trying all the combinations of teams for two weeks but it’s impossible to go on. Do something because it’s an impossible mission. We find myself forced to delete the game instead.
We think the tokens should be switched out for gems. The characters that are already at the max level can happen quickly even without purchases. The token prizes arent appealing anymore also the passport card you used to be able to get with gems and we think that should be an option instead of having to buy the passport card.
