On an iPhone XS Max, when the owl appears to have you use mana to clear the trees, we cant even press the check mark. The game isnt frozen, it just doesnt register that Im pressing the check.
We Am in love with this game. We feel out of interest in these device games awhile ago. But coming across this one, has all of our favorite things. Lol. Good job!
This game is a blast from the time of Greeks, a must have in your iPad.
We enjoy playing this game, but due to a glitch we cant play anymore . Im unable to unlock any new areas.. We get about half way through an island quest, and one day to the next it resets itself as if we have never touched it.. We’ve done this three times now.. Since Im in a never ending loop and cant progress.. We have to bench this game for now.. Totally bummed..
We love the game but this Island keeps resetting. We’ve already cleared the first task of activating the totem but now when we log in, it wants us to restart again. Theres a glitch or something which will not allow us to move further in the game.
We deleted and downloaded the game again and the speech bubbles are working (a lame duh moment, we should have thought of that ages ago) It now, Im stuck on the island at 57% because we guess we killed the Cyclopes before the quest asked us to, and we have a tree and berry bush that we’ve been trying to chop down and it says we need to clear the way first, but theres nothing in the way. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didnt fix these problems.
Cant move forward in the game because we cant clear the clouds from the extended area or remove the tree. Is glitching out.
We were able to complete the volcano island. But the totem island keeps restarting. It seems like if too many days lapse between increasing the progress %, the game resets. Well, its going to take days to gather all the wood, stone, flour, etc needed to move forward.
This game is outrageously slow, even among city builders… Looking at you simpsons. Despite a great look and presentation, after 2 days of playing we’ve accomplished nothing and barely get to do anything. The better city builders slow down too, but they at least give you a decent push into having a cool little village or something to care about before they starve you out of ‘gems’ or slow down build times. This one isn’t the worst but just not that fun, and you run yourself out of gems before you doing anything worthwhile, that, and the price of gems, and the fact that some items just outright cost money makes this one easy to pass. A game for whales, basically.
Barely got past the menu when it froze up on our city before we could even do anything restarted game and it did the same thing twice in a row easy pass on this game.
Update: no response from developers for weeks. Deleted game. New developer is just as bad as the old. We started playing this game years ago before the developer went kaput. Im so glad its back, but! We cannot get through the Island of Power. Every time we close the game, the whole thing resets to zero. We put in a ticket, no response. We are NOT happy. We cant move forward in the game until we finish this, but it wont let us. We’ve used thousands in resources trying to get through it, but every reset, the cost for the tasks gets bigger. Im just about done. Bad show.

We’ve been playing this game the last few weeks and now its stuck and we cant move forward. There is an island you have to complete to unlock more land and quests and it keeps resetting or getting stuck and we have to wait for it to reset. We have tried starting conversations on the forum for tech support and have yet to get a response. We are not sure this game is even being supported any longer. Dont be a fool like us and start playing and giving them money when there is no support for this game.
So it is a fun game, the thing is: you have earthquakes, cyclops and fires every couple of hours and they are happening simultaneously. When you extinguish one threat it uses up all your water with no way to get more so then you still have the rest that need to be taken cared of. Then when your water is full again you need to take care of another threat and move the city along but by then more earthquakes and stuff are happening so everything is burning and you cant fix anything. If there was a way to get more water so you could actually do enough we could understand the game throwing the kitchen sink at you. But the only way is to use diamonds and the amount is ridiculous so you have to spend money. We dont play to spend money so this is just not our cup of tea.
Down loaded the game and it wont let us cut down the first tree. Deleted and downloaded the game 3x.
We downloaded only for the game to crash and close, at the loading screen. If this gets fixed, we will change the rating.
Unfortunately, we can not go any further with this game! In order to go further, we would have to pay, which we refuse to do! The game is slow going, becoming frustrating and boring, after a short time. Unfortunately, Im going to have to delete this game and search for a better playing game, which disappoints us greatly!
When we got to level 33 our Vikings froze up running in place and we could not finish the level which means there are 12 more levels we will not be able to finish because you can not advance until you beat the previous level. Bummed.
We can deal with a few crashes occasionally but now the second island restarts itself every day. We cleared the first totem (which had a really annoying requirement) and then the next day the island was reset like it was our first time opening it again. This game isnt worth playing unless bugs like this can be fixed because expanding the main area is reliant on completing these islands.
Im not the only one having problems. We go to put the road down that it asks for, gotta have ten, costs twelve wood per section. You can put it down all day long, hit the check mark to finish the mission, and the road disappears. Otherwise, its a really cute and fun game. And, some of us dont use facebook, so friending is just out of the question, so its a solo game. If we had a game ID to give to a persons to invite them, now that would be much better. We give it a three star rating, fix the bug and maybe consider the ID so we dont have to use facebook. Thanks! :)
The game still freezes from time to time. Also we built roads but now cannot delete them when we want to change layout of the city. Also creating specific sciences is frustrating because you may have to explore somewhere ten or twenty times to get the one thing that you need. If we need to explore the cave to get a science, then we should be able to get what we are exploring for. Totally frustrating and makes us want to give up.
We have studied the road construction and now updated the magistrate level at 5 but still not able to create the garden path. Informed the help centre but still no response. Without that we can able to fullfill gods objective.
Every time we go to open it we get a glimpse of the city for a split second and it goes back to our home screen. Right when we were enjoying the game this happens. Urgh.
The garden path wont place and Im apparently not the only one with this problem. Other than that it seems like a good time burner.
Congratulations, youve just made the game too detailed to get any enjoyment from playing. Mills, Farms, Gardens no longer produce bread (food), which was used as a necessary resource for advancement. Now they produce one ingredient to make bread and you have to collect them all in sufficient quantities in order to produce bread in a bakery, which is another step added as of this update to the list to get bread as a resource. Gaining building materials have also become a more complex system, and it was already fairly complex the further one got into the game. Where before a simple exchange of one resource for another was necessary, now multiple resources are needed to exchange for a single other resource. Random other resources (paint and wine) have been created to make it even more difficult to collect things and advance in the game. To make things even more frustrating, all our resources stockpiled have been erased so that the game can now start off on a clean slate with the more detailed requirements. We’ve put much effort into getting those resources and now its back to the starting gate. Only this time, the resources have been broken down into pieces, so one can only imagine how long that will take to advance in the game. Im officially done with this game. Good luck to everyone who choose to continue to soldier on in this game.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME – ITS REALLY A MESS. CANT BUILD BAKERY – CANT PROCEED FURTHER IN GAME IF YOU DONT HAVE IT. WONT GIVE YOU PURCHASES YOU MAKE. An update is supposed to IMPROVE things – well, the game is now so expensive to play that your GREED is showing Qumaron. SUBMITTED TWO TICKETS for issues – havent heard back on EITHER one and the first one was FIVE DAYS AGO. Quarantine or no quarantine- thats a little much…
The game is fun, though the game on and off quit it self and now we cannot get in the game at all. Also the road construction task, the system would not let us complete the task at all. We could not hit the Green check button to complete the task at all, yet we can hit the Red Cross button to quit the task. We spent quite some money buying the package deal, now the game wont even load. Can we get our money back? This is unacceptable!!!
The game turn so terrible with so many bugs Brick totally cannot store and cannot proceed further.

We love this game so much and we’ve been playing it for quite a while now, but with the recent update Im not enjoying it nearly as much. We hate that it now costs mana to take out weeds or even a treasure chest! We dont have enough mana no matter what we do. We wish it would go back to being free to get rid of weeds and such.
Until a couple of days ago, you didnt run out of magic extremely quickly. Now it requires like 3 magic to clear bushes and 5 to clear trees… Which has really really slowed down gameplay. We liked that we could reorganize our village whenever we wanted, and now we cant even have enough magic at one time to clear a small plot of trees and bushes. It was absolutely awesome before that, though.
The previous and last update. We seriously dont know whats going on. We worked so hard to update our manas to 100. Out of the blue we are back to 75 manas! How this happened no clue. Also we worked hard to update the manas collection from 1 to 2 or 3 per rain/fall now we are back to 1. Cant do much with 75 or less manas. When now we need manas to clear debris. Its hard with this game. Its hard to know whats up or down. Because they change things to where the wind blows. Don’t expect any help from support either. We cant motivate myself to play this again after the injustice they just did to all our efforts. You go 2 steps up and 3 down. Good luck!

We enjoy this game… But, we are now concerned with the in-app purchases for this game. We recently bought the Chloris special for 1.99. Game crashed as soon as payment went through. We also never saw any of the items we bought. We tried to find a contact to have this purchased restored- no luck. We’ve also restarted the app multiple times. We know that 1.99 isnt much, but we did pay for it. Could anyone please help us?! (Once issue is fixed- we will make new review)
We really enjoy your game but when we updated it, the first thing we noticed was that somehow our mana went back to 40 when we had it all the way to 80. Was this supposed to happen in the update?
We love Greek mythology and we love this game we had this game on desktop a few years ago and we just got it on our phone but we couldve sworn that we used to be able to have our residents cut down trees. We studied the lumber science but we guess we can only remove trees using magic???? Before getting the foresters hut we never had enough lumber and we were constantly using up all our magic to collect any. Our city is almost completely covered with trees but using the altar only gives us so little magic in such a long period of time so we have no way of efficiently removing them all.
We have really enjoyed playing this game until we finished everything available. There is a coming soon button to expand the land and, we assume, enjoy new quests. However, we have been waiting about 6 months for this to happen and Im growing impatient. Please hurry.
This game is a fun building and creating game. You can design your own layout and there are usually several quests to choose from. There is science, collecting, building, a port, etc. Two issues exist with the game. First there are two quests that you can only complete with Facebook neighbors which you can only add from Facebook. You only have 5 possible resources to pick up from Aphrodite, your in game neighbor, within 24 hours, and both quests, Friendship Set and Visiting Friends reset every 24 hours. Fifteen collections are required by both quests. Also, the items we collect in the Friend and Love set do not stay in our set after collected. They disappear. That isnt a dealbreaker cause you can get past that with crystals since the sets are not that expensive. However these annoying Facebook quests endlessly respawn with big exclamation marks. And you cannot complete the quests that follow. UPDATE: Sun ray quest cannot be completed for us. The quest is to use a spell in response to rain. Weather events like tornados can be clicked on and the right spell used to end the bad weather. We clicked on the first rainstorm to end it, not realizing the quest had appeared and not having opened it. We cannot use the spell without the rain because it will not work. The rain has never reoccurred like the volcanic eruptions do and so we have not been able to complete it and am stuck on that quest. Secondly, when collecting money from a row of houses you can very easily hit the finish now button by accident and spend more than 100 crystal gems. These are fairly difficult to collect in the game and most games have a confirmation button for something like that. For instance, most quests award 1 crystal gem. We will finish the game, and we have enjoyed it, but it could be much better with a couple of tweaks.
Some of the changes in the 2/2020 update were good, but magic being reduced to 52? Build time and worker usage for decor? No thanks. More frustrating than the game is worth. We deleted the game.

Hi developers: we really like the Ancient Greece theme and the graphics. In future updates, it would be great if you add in a world map where heroes can go on quest to fight monsters or something. We think that would make the game more exciting. It would also be very cool if theres day/night and season in the game.
The game is good, but we spent too much time hoping to get a specific item to advance in the game quests because of random drops. Between waiting too long to get resources and not getting the drop needed made us quit the game. Cant imagine how it becomes much later in the game (I unlocked 2 areas).
Updated again 9/28/19 Thats what we said! But what youre not getting is, not everyone wants to log into Facebook! Not everyone wants to bug their Facebook friends just to play a game or to have friends in a game. We shouldnt have to go onto FB to find friends! We should be able to go onto your server and find friends that actually play the game we play. We know all about Facebook. We know that our game log is saved onto FB servers, not your servers and this is the reason why we cant find friends that actually play the game! We dont want to bother anyone just to get free energy, or whatever the case may be. Developers need to figure out how to bring friends within that game together so we can have friends in the game! Updated… Please tell us why developers make you log into FB to 1, save your game & 2, Find friends? Hey devs, NOT EVERYONE wants to log into FB to see if our friends are also playing this game!! NONE of our friends ever play the games we play therefor we dont have friends in the game. Developers should give us players that actually play the game Im playing! This means you have to have a server. Thats why they make you save your progress thru Facebook. To save on THEIR server! Thats why there arent any Recommended friends in the friend tab. Because their to cheap to have a server. PLEASE GET A SERVER SO US PLAYERS THAT DONT WANT TO ALWAYS BOTHER OUR FB FRIENDS, CAN ACTUALLY FIND FRIENDS IN THE GAME THEY PLAY! Received a very generic, short response from the developers yesterday (9/10/19) that took them 7 months to respond too. So what have you updated? Youve added hints? It took the devs 9 months to code in hints? And to read the workers minds? We would have thought you guys would add something to keep a player in the game. Ie: Monthly events with rewards only gained by completing all the quests in that specific month, or trophies that give the player energy, or boosts. We get that developing games is a long process however you have the foundation in place, you just have to add the guts! We need a reason to stay in the game. We need excitement. Graphics and concept are on point, we just get bored and go play another game. Original review; Its almost March and there has not been an update to take away the Christmas/winter events. Please update your app on a regular basis so people like myself who play OFTEN, and spend money often can enjoy the game. Where is our money suppose to be going?
We were enjoying playing this game, and even ignored it constantly crashing and refusing to load. However, now we are thoroughly disappointed that we went to play this game, and it restarted us at the beginning. That was the last straw. We were so invested and excited about this game, and now we are just an empty shell of a person. Dont waste your time and end up like us. :(
Downloaded and tried your game app today. We are not an idiot and can follow instructions. Unfortunately there are games that seem to over explain the simple steps and ultimate goal of a game app but this one is the opposite with no guidance about what the overall goal is and just how to lay the game? It stated to catch the falling blue dots and stars, buy and build buildings, collect grass, and a few other things. Sorry it simply wasnt fun or entertaining. We think it has potential but maybe instead of all the characters popping up and making comments just for the sake of making comments that dont have anything to do with the game at the time, perhaps a more detailed play guide and overall goal would be beneficial. If that happens we would try it again but cant like this, so sorry no disrespect intended. Good luck.
