Gamer Verdict – Reviews of Penny & Flo: Home Renovation

Here’s what players have to say about their experience with Penny & Flo: Home Renovation:

There Were A Few Minor Glitches When I First Started

"This game is addicting. Love the mix of games, design, & soap opera. There were a few minor glitches when I first started in the theater but they were quickly fixed. Love the rewards and boosters from the Facebook page. The only downside is that I have to wait about 5 days for the next level. The adventures in Italy are very interesting with old friends and new. Really enjoying the game!", Robin Lombardi says.

  1. Well on my last game. I played everyday. And I had a great game. Team the best one ever had now. I’m having trouble getting My old data reinstalled It shouldn’t be hard for them to find I Spent Money on penny and flow. On power ups and promotions. Just so I can get ahead of the game. I want more to start out. I play gardens games and I’ve had several phones. They’re always able to reinstall it. Write note problem. But I can’t accelerate from that and pay Panya flow more.

  2. Downgrade from 5 to 3…I changed phones, signed in and lost progress/levels. I got in touch with "support" in the game, told them what happened, then followed their instructions… nothing…I still am on level 3 (played the first level as they instructed to regain level where I was before having to change phones). Next they proceeded to inform me that they needed email with the receipt number of any inapp purchases I made. So I sent screenshots of bank statement..nothing no change.. run around

  3. Fun game. Options to purchase, but lots of free game play as well. Ads are too long and repetitive but you can choose to play without the extra moves that trigger the ads.

Ruth Peterson: Fun game. Options to purchase, but lots of free game play as well. Ads are too long and repetitive but you can choose to play without the extra moves that trigger the ads.

Kerber: This is the best, most interesting, funnest mobile game! I played it when they renovated Daphne’s mansion, but gave up because I was really stuck with the match-3 puzzles. I started playing again a few weeks ago, and it started on a new story set on Thailand. Ohmigod, it is so good! But I have spent way too much money on it!! $150 so far!! That’s horrible! It’s too good to get rid of again, though, so I will just play those puzzles over and over until I win each one. This game is that good.

Terri Stoute: Great game but sos feature would be the only change that would put the game at awesome. When I keep trying a level I’m stuck on and can’t get anywhere it’s frustrating and just want to quit the game. So would at least let me get somewhere in a reasonable time

Kerryanne Bates: A fun and entertaining game that gets progressively more difficult as the levels go on. Can be challenging at times. Ideal for ages 8 and upwards in my opinion.

m. gd: I really love this game. It has wonderful graphics, many different locations and storylines and a huge diversity of characters which is truly missing from all the other games I’ve played so far. On top of that it is funny and interesting story wise, especially Daphnes character who is portrayed as a flawed but strong and independent woman who has the best lines. The game itself is not hard at all, providing lots of extras, that make it easy to pass levels without spending money.

naca A: Crazy fun story with some wise insights into life, like Lilys Garden, my favorite game. I like the choice of Pennys boosters or Flos boosters . I have not experienced crashes or levels that are too difficult. I have spent a little money but just for fun. I don’t like being able to choose only one nightcap story. Thank you for teams. Make more levels.

Yusuf Yusuf: I love this game. But I do wish that some levels weren’t that hard. Also I wish that tasks didn’t require 3 stars after certain levels.

Joshua Lawrence: Very fun game and it doesn’t cost much. U can actually earn boost and free time as u play without money, and the story is great! No complaints here.

Cay Anderson: I’ve enjoyed Lily’s Garden for awhile now and this game doesn’t disappoint! The story is fun and I’m looking forward to adventures with Flo, Penny and the new friends they’ll make.

Pamela Baptiste: Love this game it’s fun and I love the story telling ,now what the hell is wrong with it in 2023 ,it keeps crashing reach New York and can’t move on every time I turned it on it keeps crashing can’t play no more

Shannon Loya: I really like this game!!! It’s fun, great graphics, great story. ❤️❤️👍/ 😒😥 I had to uninstall the game from my phone it kept stopping and stopping the system. I’m going to download it one more time since I liked it so much. We’ll see.😭😡 I installed the game, played. Then it started locking up again so I uninstalled AGAIN. This is the only game that does this. Very disappointed.

Heather Brathwaite: This is one of my favourite games! The story and dialogue are good and, while it’s not too easy, it’s possible to win and progress.

Kathleen Vassel Chronert: Great game similar to Lily’s Garden, just as frustrating when I play and play and don’t advance, but thats what makes me come back every time, thanks for the help and boosts.i had to shut down my game because I was hacked on facebook I was pretty far and have to start over

Stuart Anderson: Something is broken! Often, when you are viewing an ad to extend play in a level, it crashes to the home screen. Very annoying! 🤬🤬🤬

benny waldon: I LOVE PLAYING THIS GAME!! THE STORY LINE IS FUN. The story line is STILL fun. Please get rid of those RINGING TELEPHONES!!! Simply one of the most obnoxious parts game!!

Debbie Jean Duncan: Love the game, the storyline is awesome and endless decorating and travel, keep up the great work.

Nicole Skinner: This game is absolutely PERFECT just the way it is, keeps me wanting to come back constantly as addictive. EVERYTHING is dead right so PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!!!!!! 50 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐’S

T F: Its very entertaining and sometimes very challenging but keeps me interested. The story is ok but I like the other related game ( story ) better “Lily’s Garden”. Great game, I would recommend to play! I just got a new cell phone 01/08/2023 and my app synced to my new phone but my account data didn’t, so now I have to play from the beginning of game. I looked to see if I could sign in to my acct so it would have every level I have already achieved like I did on my game “Lily’s Garden” but no luck

Robin Crouch: Tactile games are superior for several reasons. The smoothness of play is primary — weapons operate realistically and seamlessly. The storyline is well-developed — never a dull moment as in other similar games. And design aspects are more fun and a notch above other games. Highly addictive, Tactile games give back. They have free offers for time and weapons for people who cannot afford them. And they offer specials as well, weapons for those who can afford them. You will not be disappointed.

Melissa Romani: Super fun, ad free, I haven’t had any glitches that others mentioned at all! The style is beautiful and reminds me of Italian comics. They also make Lily’s Garden which is equally addictive with great art, I definitely recommend both!

Sheila W: The game itself is a fun game. Gives you something to do to pass the time. Just wish these games was as they show to be on the adds.

Nana Långstedt: I love lily’s garden and I like this game too! Interesting storyline and impeccable artwork. I love it how you can choose to play as Penny or Flo, it makes the game more interesting. No need to watch ads or spend money unless you want to. I totally love it!

Angie Breen: Love this game….the characters and storyline are cute….the levels are not to hard..you get boosters and coins relatively easily and you get a good choice of decoration options….this game is a must for people who like match 3 decoration games.

Patricia Spence: I am getting really frustrated with this game closing everytime I try to play I have told you all I can it just takes me to the main screen of my phone can’t explain it any better than that

Shawna Pendergrass: The storyline is good and leaves me wanting to continue. The game play is easy to sometimes frustrating when I cant get through a level for a couple days sometimes, but I’m still playing :)

Deni Vig: This game is addictive and now with more options it’s even better. I love the storyline too 😀

Tina Graves: Love this ga.e. The caricatures are fun and design options are very classy. Good job

Marzella: Fun game. Not too many ads and its holding my attention.

Debra McBride: So far so good. Love the storyline and the details. Would recommend this game most definitely.

Pendant Mahana: Love the story and the gameplay. Reminded me of Lily’s garden which I love too 💜

crystal wolkowski: i love this game its so easy to play and i like to make and decorate my own holtal

Sherry Taylor: What A Fantastic Way To Spend Some Of The Day Playing This Game So Much Fun I Would Highly Recommend It I Would Like To Know What Happened To Daphne In The Other Penny And Flo

Inara Couto: I still enjoy the game, BUT what’s with the weird ads that have nothing to do with the game storyline or dynamics?

Mending_Broken_Wings: Love the game. Only flaws is not giving the stars when complete and game doesn’t sync from phone to tablet and vice versa. My tablet Is 20 boards ahead of my phone app. I’m confused how to play away from home or when kids are on tablet. Please help. I have stars on tablet app but don’t get all my stars on phone app.

Mireille Larkins: Great story, good gameplay, fun characters! The only ads that bother me are the ones that say this is a different game. There are no makeovers, no makeup. No cheating boyfriends like all the other game ads. Just house and yard redesigns, landscaping, interior decorating, fun puzzles, and a great story about finding the right path for each person. And that’s more than enough. 🙂

Egg: really really fun! very interesting story, fun design options, and tasks are cheap! also just a small thing that i appreciate is, when they introduce new power-ups before a level, they don’t force you to use them, and the aids they give in levels (like hammers) are free on the first go. just a small detail, but it makes it feel like the creators have really thought about the player’s experience. though i do wish there were other ways to back up the game. i lost 350+ levels when changing devices

Jean S.: Addictive and fun! Lots of ways to get free boosters, and match puzzles are not too hard. You can learn how to master this game. No mini games yet! Not too expensive. Good graphics and interesting story. This is another game pushing Facebook, which I don’t want to use. Otherwise, stuck with this decorating game the longest of this game type, and look forward to playing it!

Deb Corcoran: I love this game. I do have a few things I would like to see change. I would like for the hard levels to be worth 2 stars instead of every level being just 1. I think if you have to use 5, 10+ lives to get through one level it should be worth more (just my opinionAnother thing I’ve noticed as the higher up in levels I get the slower the game is. I hope this is not foreshadowing of an issue because I had to stop playing a game I really enjoyed because it wouldn’t load after I got to a high level.

Barb Hoppes: Very nice presentation. Easy enough so you aren’t buying something every other play, but challenging enough to make you use your brain to strategize. The furniture and accompanying accessories could stand to be updated. 1/24/21 After getting to 100 games this game falls apart. The screen freezes, and the hard hats can only be removed by the bombs, etc. not by the colored pieces. Also, the screen diminishes by 50% and nothing can enlarge it. BTW, what happened with the wedding?

Ronda Watson: I normally don’t care for match games, but I am loving this one. The characters are so full of life. The stories are funny, while teaching little life lessons. The decor options are usually tacky or ugly in match games, but even the decor is great. Still a few tacky options, but tacky in a cute and fun way. Loving the 3 main characters, so full of life. Nice to see characters that don’t look like super models, just everyday people quirky and fun. Keep it up!

Leah Reid: Wasn’t too sure about the game at first, but I really like how the storyline has developed. Bit cheesy at times but…..you get that. The levels are challenging without being too frustrating and I like being able to switch between the different boosters to see which works best for beating each level. If you like Lily’s Garden I think you’ll enjoy this too. The only downside is that you only get to around 250 levels before you’re waiting for updates, but I’m used to that. Great job Tactile Team!

P.P. Vos: I thought I’d finally try one of those games advertised in the crazy dramatic ads… only to find it’s actually quite fun! The storyline is cute and nicely written, the puzzles are fun and challenging… and it’s easy on the micro-transactions. It’s entirely possible to advance in the game without buying stuff at all. Although it sometimes helps if you do want to.

Victoria Waller: So fun. One of the only games where I don’t skip thru all of the dialogue to get back to gameplay. This game is actually very interesting and I can’t wait to see where the story goes each time I use my stars. I love that you don’t lose a life unless you actually lose a level. A lot of games these days use energy and you can only play for a short bit. Also super awesome that you can change your character so if a level is super difficult you can try it with a different character!

Wendy Holt: I enjoy this game a lot. I’m passed level 1100. (Don’t judge me. I’ve been playing for a *long time on my breaks at work.) Some of the levels are SUPER challenging, and I’ve had to try many times to beat some of them. I enjoy the challenge, and have not had to spend a single penny. One suggestion for the developers: it would be awesome if the hard levels earned more stars.

Merry Coco: So far, I’ve played just over 90 levels of puzzles, and I really like them. There’s the option of playing as Penny or Flo with different boosters for each, and besides the decorating, there’s the option of choosing the subject of certain discussions. It’s a welcome respite from some of the other games I’ve been playing. You start out with 4 lives, but you can get an additional one by connecting with Facebook so you have 5 lives instead. I’m looking forward to getting further in the storyline

Kellie McGarrity: Fun game with lots of perks without spending a fortune. I love the story line. The puzzles are challenging enough but not incredible hard to the point you have to spend money to get through them. This app works much better on the cell phone version vs. The tablet version. The tablet one kept crashing. I gave up and downloaded the game on my phone and haven’t had one issue at all.

SixRaven Eight: This might be your typical match 3, fix up a house sort of game and frankly has far too much dialogue and you have to pay, for me anyway, to skip it, but it’s pretty fun and not to heavy on ads. Best of all the price for helpers for the game are very reasonable. I don’t find that often enough. I hope they don’t change the game and start adding a whole bunch of junk to it like Lily’s Garden and making things far too high priced. Had to get rid of that game, I’d like to keep this one.

Kathleen Kelly: 10/15: Seems to be working better so I increased my rating. 🙂 9/5: I like this game so much when I can play it! Time after time the game won’t play after shifting between the “regular” game and the Movie Magic scenario. I lose all the free play time because the game stops working. I’m tired of reaching out to customer support about this issue. Fix it!

Jennifer Jaime: Attainable goals so far. Lovely choices for redecorating the place. The match 3 challenges are fun because they are those touch 2+ spaces to gather all attached. I like choosing between which character to use for the challenges, however ya gotta place a decent handful before getting this option. Relaxing game. I prefer these types of match 3 to others. The preview shows you can “save” the characters by choosing certain elements but I haven’t seen that option yet. Regardless, it’s a 5☆

GailFP: This is an old game, but I am really enjoying it. It’s the storyline, of course. Also Daphne’s personality. :) I become a bit fed up with the difficulty of some levels, but not everyone is good at puzzles. This company needs to do the right thing and offer levels of difficulty, like other companies, and charge a shareware fee after a reasonable trial. Edited – they did provide the extras upgrade! Game is playable. Thanks!

Gia Dreiss: most games get mundane monotonous and you get stuck on levels for days.this one has just the right balance of challenge, skill, luck. It seems that if you’re having difficulty with a level, they make it a bit easier for you to solve it without making it too easy. They are super generous with power ups and bonuses. Many times they will give 1 2 or 3 hours of freeplay.. besides the play, they did a great job with the storyline..you really begin to relate to characters like real friends! Great Game

Jae Dee: Penny & Flo is the best matching/decorating game I’ve played. It’s like a combination of Toon Blast & Matchington Mansion but better. This game gives you more opportunities for rewards, you aren’t left with 1 move a ridiculous number of times, & tile drops are fair. I don’t mind spending money, but I want to do it on my terms & not because it’s the only way to win. I’ve noticed it does take more stars to decorate as you move up levels, but so far I’m still having fun & I don’t feel cheated.

Julie P: Such a fun game, and cute storyline! This is my first day playing, but so far I love it! It’s basically Lily’s Garden, with a few upgrades in my opinion. For example, before you tap the squares to make an arrow, it shows you which way the arrow will be pointed! Looks like I’ve found some new entertainment for my down time! Definitely recommend!

Theresa Aldis-Henderson: So I reviewed the game earlier and complained about the levels before hard. Since that time they must have adjusted the game. It plays more smoothly, not getting stalled on a level for a week. Some levels are still difficult, but that is the way it should be, so long as they are beatable in a day. Two days is two long and a week or more, we shouldn’t play. Thank you for making it a “playable” game. Addendum 2 weeks later: after writing my review, I was suddenly able to progress in the game.

Stacie L: Update: Thanks for fixing it! Good game. Generous with bonuses and unlimited play time Old: I would have given 5 stars, but it now takes 8 seconds for the “lights” to gradually come on at the start of every game. I don’t know whose idea it was, but it’s STUPID and ANNOYING. I’ll be happy to change my rating when you fix it.

Cristina Danti: Edit: This is a very relaxing game. A non-timed match game with a light and entertaining story to unravel and a build mode. I thought it could get you stuck at higher levels when the game becomes more challenging but this is not the case. With the players gifting, the daily 2 free hours unlimited lives to activate when you want, the daily special challenges, plus the various in-game rewards, it’s possible to keep going without the need to spend money on it if you don’t want to. Very well done!

Deborah Talbot: I have played this game for a long time, I got to a high level. Then my phone died so I lost my progress so had to start again. I love playing this game, story line is quirky, awards come frequently, so it is a pleasure to play. There are plenty of different characters who pop in & out, that they add to the overall vibe of the game. 9/10! As nothing is perfect.. :-)

Lolether Orr: Love this game! Will update my experience at a later date… I like the concept and the story line but some of the levels is extremely hard to get pass even if you purchase lives several times, request for help from a friend or your team ure still not able to get pass that level you should offer some type of incentive other then a request ( for help) from a friend or a team member to help you get through some of the hard levels I find myself getting frustrated and bored

Peggy S: A really fun and creative game! All sorts of twists and turns with an amazing, fun storyline. I love how they bring in characters from Lily’s Garden, as well. Although some levels are more difficult than others they can all be solved without using boosters or having to spend money. They just take a little patience.

Hexagonce: Fun, slightly different from other match 3 / fix up the house type games to the point where I don’t find myself bored. Plus, I love that you can choose who you play with, that’s unique!! My favorite thing os the look of the boards! I find the pieces, large, easily visible, and extremely aesthetically pleasing

Ash Lee: It’s an awesome game, not like the others with super hard levels and you spent all of your lives and now you have to wait for hours. This one has an engaging story, art and playthrough. It’s suitable for people like me who gets impatient easily. Except that you have to download it whenever you start a new chapter, for me that is it’s only flaw. Overall, very enjoyable, you should try it out.

AMY RUNNETTE: I absolutely love this game. It does take forever to get past a level once you get up in the high levels, but that’s the challenge of it. I am disappointed though. I was on level 300 and something, almost on 400. I went and did an update as I do everytime it calls for one. Only to find out the game would not load. After trying to get it to load multiple times Unfortunately I had to end up uninstalling the whole game. Don’t think I want to start all over after being so far in the game. SHAME!!!!!

Katty C (katlizca): Love the new game by Tactile! I was hooked by Lilly’s Garden and gave this one a try. It I similar in some aspects and different in others. What I love the most is the lack of stress in both games. I use them to wind down. They are challenging enough so you don’t get bored, but easy and friendly enough. And the guys on Facebook are just amazing with all the extras they provide.

Dayna Y: Great game! No pop-up ads & not a pay-to-win either! You can comfortably & happily play without having to buy boosters or extra coins. The levels do range from easy to challenging but it’s not frustratingly difficult. The game is also generous with rewards as you level up. The graphics are very cute & the gameplay is smooth. The storyline is interesting too. Highly recommend!🤗

mary cell: Really enjoying the storyline and helping Flo & Penny to decorate Daphne’s mansion! New characters add to the fun! BUT (and, there’s always a “but”…), some of the play levels can be frustrating to pass, mostly because there are no clues on how to get through them. Having said that, persistence is key! Enjoy!!

Iwilani Bardo: I love it. It is a very good, in my words, time passer. And the game that you play to get stars isn’t impossible to win like other games i have played they make it so hard that you can’t win anymore and it is just wasting your time, but not this one. So i suggest getting it, it is an incredible app and i find it very relaxing. I do wish that when we have full hearts that you dont just gives us 4 maybe 5 or 6 would be nice. But other then that it is perfect for me.

Momo Nyan: After becoming frustrated with Lily’s Garden I was pretty hesitant to play this, but after wanting to play a decorating game again I gave in and downloaded this game. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like this game! The levels aren’t stupid hard, even the ones labeled as hard. They feel fair, and challenging enough so I don’t get frustrated because I can’t figure the puzzles out. The characters are great, better than in LG imo, and so far the plot is pretty solid. All in all, it’s fun
