This is a good idle game, fun story and theme, and the support team was very responsive to a problem we had.
Cool concept for a game, but trying to go from episode 5-6 the game keeps going to the tardis mini game and then freezing up. We’ve tried closing the game and going back in, but it still freezes. We get all the way to the tapping of the tardis to charge it, and the entire interface disappears and nothing else works.
We really like the art style of the game, but whenever we try to go to the seventh episode, it just freezes up on the tardis mini game. Pretty disappointing.
One of the mini games force shut the app and now every time we go to move to the next episode it gets stuck on the mini game and wont move forward. Very disappointing, we were very excited for the game but it seems we can no longer move forward after just an hour or so :(
Every time a complete an episode past Episode 4 the app crashes and gets stuck on a Tardis screen. We have had to go through customer support twice in one day because it keeps happening. Avoid this game at all costs until they eventually fix this.
We’ve had this game for three days. In that time we’ve found it impossible to advance from episode 6 until after we submitted a trouble ticket. Now its impossible to advance from episode 7, and yes, we’ve sent in another trouble ticket. We’ve also had several video ads (yes, its ad supported) fail to show any exit or advance controls, which means we end up not being credited for sitting through them. The primary purpose of this app seems to be convincing you to buy packs at an alleged deep discount of their regular price, but of course theres no objective measure of what the regular price is. They could say, This package is worth one BILLION dollars! And who could contradict the claim? This is a pretty severe disappointment of a game, and its an insult to Doctor Who as well. Shame on the engineers for the slipshod programming, and shame on the BBC for licensing their series to this product.
We mean its aight if youre a DW fan. Obviously its gonna get repetitive and it will bombard you with ads letting you know loud and clear you wont get far unless you drop money. But besides all that, its pretty cool.
We noticed that the only doctor this game is missing is the ninth doctor and that makes us sad because hes our favorite. Other than that we actually love this game and collecting characters.
The game felt a little sluggish before we had even stopped playing it a few times for a span but the new update have a good feel for pacing and its still difficult but its not impossible to do the mini worlds. Overall we think the game has hit a nice stride. Im glad the developers kept working and updating it.

Its cool to have a new Doctor Who game, never really played a idle game before but its been pretty fun so far! Love seeing the various Doctors talk with companions! Im all here for more 12 and Clara scenes!!
Not much challenge in the game. It has a good storyline. We are not willing to pay $24.99 a month to get rid of ads and for other perks. You watch too many ads to get any progress in the game. We feel like 70% is ad watching to just be able to have the resources to do something. We like the Clash of Clans game model. Started playing that because our son was always playing it and we have been an active player because of the balance of challenge versus $$.
Thought when we maxed out all of the taps it would give us the goal to get through the episode but the game is just stuck. Nothing else for us to do and we wasted time mindlessly clicking for it to just not work.
Given how the game is set up, you are given ads for rewards (and to do well in the game you have to use them or spend money) And while we do like the character design and the story was beginning to get interesting, this morning we got two different ads that were straight scams (you know the ones where if you clicked the link you would give personal information to the owner of the link). That stuff can be dangerous especially with a mobile phone where it is easily to make a wrong click (to click on the link instead of the close page button). As such, we will no longer play this game and we have lost all respect for the developers. You are willingly letting scammers place blatant scams on your game and it is dangerous.
45 seconds to a minute per ad is a bit ridiculous when most other games have about 15 second ads fix this problem and your game could get four stars if you fix the problem of the advertisements not even completely working and unable to close out of them then you will get a five star rating. Nice fun game nice idle game garbage ads please control your sponsors, thank you.
The humor is clever, but at least a little animation of the characters would have been so nice and no theme song or Tardis noises makes us so sad. The music is generic, nothing BBC sound dept. About it. Game play is also generic idling, we suppose nothing more can be expected from that engine. Watching ads often creates glitches (although that might be the fault of our older phone) and so many of the ads are the worst interminable (and some horribly sexist) type. We tried the VIP trial and got our rewards once, but when we came back to the game that same day, the game tried to sell us VIP access instead of letting us use the free trial any more. The price for subscriptions are just ridiculous. $10-$25 a month? We could perhaps see spending $1/month on a game, but making it more expensive than any console game you would buy outright, is really outside of the Doctors stated sense of morality. We dont think your characters would even approve of it! We want to say more positive things- we do really enjoy the writing! Perhaps ask the writers how they would improve the game. We doubt you very often ask them for their input on that side of things. Almost forgot! Thanks for making K-9 the guide! Even if there are no voices, we can hear John Leeson in our head.
The new leaderboard doesnt seem to be working properly. How should we have less on the leaderboard than we do in the event?
Liked the game enough to do the 9.99 for no ads thing that was introduced this morning. Then, it stopped working (still shows on our subscriptions for Apple) and it says it will cost 24.99 per month for the no ads feature. Sent a zendesk message but dont have high hopes that theyll resolve it to our satisfaction. The game is good if you have been watching Doctor Who since the beginning. Its only just alright if you are a new-who fan.

We were eager to explore this game. However, the very first ad was sexist, misogynistic, and inappropriate for youngsters. We immediately deleted the game. Rethink your advertising!

Very good game. But it takes to long to get through one chapter. But we like collecting characters.
Im a HUGE Doctor Who fan and we love this game sooooo much! But Im dealing with a problem now, the game wont connect. We were able to play it yesterday but now it wont let us connect is it a bug or a connection issue?
The games not bad. Its a pretty typical wait and tap, wait and tap, check in every few hours to farm more resources type of game. But its also the type of game that actively encourages you to watch ads to earn more resources. Which would be okay except that the ads all seem to feature hypersexualized women in isekai games, which is pretty disturbing given Doctor Who is a family show. Its pretty repellant to have to have to look at anime women making sex faces and thrusting their chests out to get our dailies. :(
We didnt have a problem opening the game until today. It keeps constantly saying that theres a connection issue which there isnt. The rest of our apps and phone works fine, its just this game.
We are stuck on ep 3 because our cards being collected are not being added to our collection so we are stuck. All but one of our points are maxed.
For the past week or so, since the update before 10/23/23 update, it has become unplayable. Complete a zone, the timer stops and nothing, does not even register that we’ve completed said level. If we close it out and try it again we lose the capability to even select start. We currently have 2 completed missions that we can not even accept the end rewards from, as well as 4 zones that we are stuck at as they will not load (just get blank screen) Looking at the reviews, this is an issue being reported to customer service but nothing is being done about it! And we are sure, at some point Ill see contact our customer support under this review.

Really fun idle game and quite frankly, extremely addictive lol. The events can be a but harder to advance through than they maybe should be, but the general story line is easy if you play casually.
Games like this are just cash grabs with very little actual gameplay.
Ok this review is to simply state that even with choosing to watch all your ads to keep bonuses up, we have been on level 34 for 2 weeks. Its like there is a glitch that is making it impossible to upgrade our power any further. We are far enough in we only level up a town or character once a day. Just loosing its appeal due to not moving anywhere.
Its a mediocre idle game, there is much better out there. The art is lackluster. Love the classic characters that pop up throughout. We have hit a part where it wont even let us play. The screen went faded and wont respond to touch says there is a 300kb download. We uninstalled it and reinstalled and still get the same issue. There is no indication of download happening.
Terrible game. Loaded with ads and micro transactions but not even remotely enough story telling to make it enjoyable. Basic Doctor Who terms are thrown about like gibberish as if given to writers who’ve never watched. Don’t waste a second, especially without a TARDIS to go back and tell yourself not to waste your time. EDIT: In response to the developer. Your game is oversaturated with ads and lacking in story. Ads right after the first tutorial is an overall issue with mobile games. You don’t do enough to draw the player in. It’s unreasonable to be playing a thirty second ad two minutes into a game where we’ve spent more time watching the loading screen then playing.
Made a purchase for current event but didnt not receive it is there a way to reset purchases to try to get it to activate.

So our family have been big Doctor Who fans and we found this game and overall its been really good! The story line is brilliant and we have always been a fan of Idle/Clicking games. Our only problem is we tried to load into the game again but the game is not loading, we tried to reopen the game and its not working. But other than that we recommend this game to all Doctor Who and Idle game fans Everywhere!!
Please update the game more frequently.
Its Doctor Who so you have to download it to take a look. However, most of the time all you do is spend watching videos that take forever and glitch watching 3/4 so either you dont get credit or you h e to start over. It gets boring really quick and not worth the time.

This is a great game that is idle with the same idle story/level, but it is fantastic! There isnt as much waiting through each level and manager cards are available from the beginning Try it and keep playing it.
MAIN game has timing issue STILL MINI game timing issue resolved. We have been stuck with 24+ hrs till next free kerblam crate. This is Impossible. Free crates to be given every 4hrs. Been waiting for 3 DAYS for the main game to fix itself. But Noooooo. Counts down, Hits 0, then resets to 23:59 till next crate. Update FAIL. Again.
Tried it. Boring! You tap the screen to collect vortex energy and thats about it. Whats the point? Has nice animation and references to classic episodes, but thats it.
50 percent chance you will not receive the in game resource you paid for, customer service does not reimburse dont get us wrong, they say they will when contacted but nothing ever arrives. Good storylines, BORING gameplay. Update: See below for developers form letter response that again delivers nothing but looks like they want to. (Hint: they dont)
Love Doctor Who! Love this game! Needs more episodes! Im at 35 and longing for more!
Its a cool game. It probably wouldnt be very interesting if we wasnt a whovian, but we am, so Im playing it. Unfortunately, when we opened the app after upgrading our phone (iPhone 8 -> SE 3rd Gen) all of our progress is gone. We have to start over and Im frustrated, especially since this didnt happen with any of our other games.
Beyond our original review of sound cutting out and repeating itself that fixed itself (either through an update or turning off sound & music in settings) and the horrid overall UI design. (Up to 3 icons on the bottom left and 1 in the top right covering the play area.) They have endlessly looping, INESCAPABLE! Ads that play should you try to watch an ad for a reward. The only way out of the ad loop is to force quit the game, and you WONT get the reward even if you just watched that fool King Get in trouble 4 times in a row.
We are loving this game. Its a great way to kill some time, although the repetitive ads get to be a lot. But we get it. The only issue we have is that it is impossible to get waypoint cards but you are forever needing them to progress. That would be our only suggestion to get 5 stars! Keep rockin on!
While the game is fun to play, the timing on this app is off. Sometimes a 2 hour reward box will take 4 hours, during that extra 2 hours you cant watch ads for the free bonuses. Speaking of the ads, there are many buggy ones (Looking at you, Puzzles & Survival) that wont let you exit out of them no matter how long you wait, making you have to lose out on the reward (sometimes 4 hours worth of earnings that youre trying to double) to get it off your screen. The Doctor Who aspect of this game makes it the perfect idle game for nerds, but these app issues really drag the quality of the game down.
