We genuinely loved this game from the first time we fumbled our way through many, many, many deaths to get to the end(?). Having limited space, we would cycle through games on our phone but always come back to this one. So it lives forever on our 4S just in case. Fantastic work. Its a nice, quick game to play, nothing super crazy. We remember playing it on Cool Math but then Adobe Flash got killed. After looking fir places to play it on, we were surprised to find it here. We definitely recommend this game.
While playing this game on call with two of our friends, We decided to name the MC and the ghost girl Ryan and Bethany. Idk why. Im really fond of Ryan,, He looks like an airpod. He's a silly little guy, we like to imagine he has a gender dysphoria buzz cut (), wears an oversized hoodie, and has terrible posture. Very fun game.
We used to play this game all the time in 4th grade on cool math, and since you cant play it anymore we decided to download it on our phone, we're now in high-school and still like this game, would really love a sequel with even more story :).
This was our favorite flash game of all time and we are so grateful its been preserved as an app here. Its perfectly challenging and shockingly beautiful for how simple it is.

We were looking through games that we downloaded a long time ago and found this. Its a short and fun side scroller, this was a good time and if it were longer it probably wouldnt be as good as it is, this is a fun little game that we might come back to in the future.
As so many people have said this a perfect example of doing more with less. This game reminds us of the old days, where you dont need anything fancy like graphics or movies to make a great game experience. This small little game is awesome and should be downloaded At lest onces to enjoy this beautiful game.
This game is so good that we will play it for every day.
This game is the perfect example of less is more. It may not have a complex plot, characters, or look like a movie, but its solid run and gun gameplay is really solid. There are a handful of flaws, such as its length. It can be completed at around 10 minutes for newer players, but speed runs of the game finish it in only 4. But we cant complain too much, it is free. And no ads, so thats nice. We totally recommend it to people who like games that are not only challenging, but still fair and fun.
This was a mix between action, Adventure, and horror. Just what we wanted.
Every time we fight a boss it seems that the health goes back. We dont understand the meaning of this, but please leave there health where it is.
This is the one game that we always remember. We find ourselves redownloading it once every six months or so just to experience the story and for a good bit of fun. Every time, it still amazes us how the creator made us attached to this almost shapeless, nameless character and had us witness the emotion he felt throughout his short journey. 10/10 will re-download again.
This game is a perfect example of what to do when making a game! We love the animation, controls and puzzles! This game was tough but because of the limited animation catching on was easy enough which helped maintain the fun factor. Because this game was so short it was awesome learning the mechanics as we advanced which kept the excitement alive! Our all-time favorite movie is Apocalipto by Mel Gibson; and the fast pace and mission driven concept of this game made us fall in love. We have finished this game 5 times and STILL love playing through it! Another reason why this game is amazing is because of the ending! We were kinda confused initially, but once we finished, the final scene brought clarity to the games atmosphere, music and more importantly its name! We highly recommend this FREE game to anyone looking for a thrill! After finishing the game we read through other reviews and a few people compared this game to what made old school Atari games great. If this is what Atari games were like Im finding one for our home! We would LOVE to play a full length game by this developer.
This game is very simplistic – left right jump shoot – but one hit and you are done for and must repeat that area – the game itself is based on an older tale but obviously very basic – the jumps are tricky – good timing is needed and the enemies we swear are pretty aggressive – the ending to it left us wanting more and a bit sad – Id openly pay for an extended version with more bosses enemies weapons you name it This goes to show you dont need a ton of graphics and fancy bs to tell a good story or have a good game A+ guys.
When we were browsing popular indie games we came across this wonderful game! This game has a lot to love about it, the reference to old Atari 2600 games, the story, the difficulty and by difficulty we mean this game is quite the challenge. Its not frustratingly difficult like many modern indie games but its a good difficulty that makes you feel very satisfied when you complete a level or a boss. We have completed this game many times over, and the game almost never gets old! Its even more fun to attempt to speed run this game. But with all games they have their flaws, for example the controls are very clunky and awkward most of the time the buttons are very small and if the developer adds a controller customizer that would be great. Also, the game is very short. We were expecting a load of bosses and new enemies but instead we only got three boss fights with one of them being extremely short. Anyways this game is a must play and you should get it right away.

The suprise twist at the end makes the game so much better,though we got frustrated at the part where you cant look back or you die,still gets 5 stars.

We thought it was a great game but we just wish it would explain by we're still giving it 5 stars for just being a great game.
We like the game a lot and now that it's 64 bit we'll play it again to see what's new but it is really fun and we like the story we just feel it's too short but other than that keep up the good work.
Very creepy concept, although short :/.
When we heard it was short. We thought we could finish it in like 30 minutes. But, once we found ourselves strategizing with each room. It started to bite away at us with numerous resets. And so after an hour in, we got to the Devil Boss and quit once we saw him spawning the spider & bat at the same time. While we may complain we do love these little minimalistic games. But, it was just a skill issue on our end.
So,good game,right? But there are some obstacles that are a little hard. The bosses are hard.we cant remember what they looked like though,but you dont have to update the game. :) Everybody have fun playing.
Why do people love this game so much? They are literally blinded by nostalgia.
It has a big glitch which is is when you jump up and try to move forward in the air it doesnt work it makes it had like there is a barrier!!!!! And this game is a copy from Onspon gameing.
Does not work anymore. Controls constantly glitch and the game froze near the end.
It looks cool, but tapping the buttons does nothing.
Press and hold right to move right until literally the exact moment that stopping moving right will kill your player at which point the controls will randomly decide if you get to proceed forward or not. Trash.
We love this game (especially then ending). It's a good game to pass time, and the bosses are fun to beat! (Thanks for updating it to 64bit!).

We adore this game, the style is Fantastic but the music shines above everything else for us; awesome pixel game (even though some levels were frustrating and we kept dying, we managed to complete it in 25-30 minutes).
As so many others have said, this is a perfect example of "doing more with less". Countless (paid!) games are instantly forgettable; this one will stick with you.
This game is awesome. It is totally free, has a good story to interpret, a bit of a challenge, and is in 8 bit. What else is there to say? This is a true testament of what you can accomplish doing more with less.
We don't write reviews often but we'll contribute to the positive feedback. We had a great time playing this little game controls were a little stiff at times but the game is forgiving when you die. The platforming and puzzles were awesome and at times you will get frustrated but will eventually pass them… Totally worth the download and play.
The game has a good atmosphere with a bit of an oldschool feeling. Sometimes challenging, which we found really nice. The controls have some problems now and then – sometimes we have trouble manoeuvring the character. Nonetheless, good game – recommended.
We liked the level of challenge, not easy but not impossible.
We played this game our computer back in 2009, and loved it. We just tried it on our iphone, and found it nearly unplayable. The buttons were so small that we couldn't press them accurately, making the controls so unresponsive that we had enourmous difficulty completing what were supposed to be easy levels.
This is a very buetiful game with a awesome story line we loved it.

We first played this game on a gaming site in 2010. It is most definitely one of the best games you can find in an app. Simple gameplay with a haunting score make it enjoyable throughout. We were so happy when we saw this has become an app! Great work.
Unlike many games today this game provided s refreshing challenge,. Al lot of games rosy are very easy and this reminds us of Games that came a long time go like super Mario Bros. Some of the difficulty of the bosses reminded us of playing The original legend of Zelda. This is a must play for people who like platforming and a lot of challenge, but not too much that it makes you want to throw your device. Just on thing , MAKE A SEQUEL. If you will and new content and mechanics to make the game more fun. Great game overall though,.
