This game is very fun and challenging, you did a great job on strategy and timing. If thats how you did it.
This is the one game that we always remember. We find myself redownloading it once every six months or so just to experience the story and for a good bit of fun. Every time, it still amazes us how the creator made us attached to this almost shapeless, nameless character and had us witness the emotion he felt throughout his short journey. 10/10 will re-download again.
This was our favorite flash game of all time and we are so grateful its been preserved as an app here. Its perfectly challenging and shockingly beautiful for how simple it is.
This game is a perfect example of what to do when making a game! We love the animation, controls and puzzles! This game was tough but because of the limited animation catching on was easy enough which helped maintain the fun factor. Because this game was so short it was awesome learning the mechanics as we advanced which kept the excitement alive! Our all-time favorite movie is Apocalipto by Mel Gibson; and the fast pace and mission driven concept of this game made us fall in love. We have finished this game 5 times and STILL love playing through it! Another reason why this game is amazing is because of the ending! We were kinda confused initially, but once we finished, the final scene brought clarity to the games atmosphere, music and more importantly its name! We highly recommend this FREE game to anyone looking for a thrill! After finishing the game we read through other reviews and a few people compared this game to what made old school Atari games great. If this is what Atari games were like Im finding one for our home! We would LOVE to play a full length game by this developer!!!

We were looking through games that we downloaded a long time ago and found this. Its a short and fun side scroller, this was a good time and if it were longer it probably wouldnt be as good as it is, this is a fun little game that we might come back to in the future!
Its a nice, quick game to play, nothing super crazy. We remember playing it on Cool Math but then Adobe Flash got killed. After looking fir places to play it on, we were surprised to find it here. We definitely recommend this game.

Every time we fight a boss it seems that the health goes back. We dont understand the meaning of this, but please leave there health where it is!
This game is the perfect example of less is more. It may not have a complex plot, characters, or look like a movie, but its solid run and gun gameplay is really solid. There are a handful of flaws, such as its length. It can be completed at around 10 minutes for newer players, but speed runs of the game finish it in only 4. But we cant complain too much, it is free. And no ads, so thats nice. We totally recommend it to people who like games that are not only challenging, but still fair and fun.
When we were browsing popular indie games we came across this wonderful game! This game has a lot to love about it, the reference to old Atari 2600 games, the story, the difficulty and by difficulty we mean this game is quite the challenge. Its not frustratingly difficult like many modern indie games but its a good difficulty that makes you feel very satisfied when you complete a level or a boss. We have completed this game many times over, and the game almost never gets old! Its even more fun to attempt to speed run this game. But with all games they have their flaws, for example the controls are very clunky and awkward most of the time the buttons are very small and if the developer adds a controller customizer that would be great. Also, the game is very short. We were expecting a load of bosses and new enemies but instead we only got three boss fights with one of them being extremely short. Anyways this game is a must play and you should get it right away!
While playing this game on call with two of our friends, we decided to name the MC and the ghost girl Ryan and Bethany. Idk why. Im really fond of Ryan,, He looks like an airpod. He’s a silly little guy, we like to imagine he has a gender dysphoria buzz cut (), wears an oversized hoodie, and has terrible posture. Very fun game.
As so many people have said this a perfect example of doing more with less. This game reminds us of the old days, where you dont need anything fancy like graphics or movies to make a great game experience. This small little game is awesome and should be downloaded At lest onces to enjoy this beautiful game.

This game is very addictive. We want more. Too short but very very captivating.
We used to play this game all the time in 4th grade on cool math, and since you cant play it anymore we decided to download it on our phone, we’re now in high-school and still like this game, would really love a sequel with even more story :)
We like the game a lot and now that it’s 64 bit we’ll play it again to see what’s new but it is really fun and we like the story we just feel it’s too short but other than that keep up the good work.
This game is very simplistic – left right jump shoot – but one hit and you are done for and must repeat that area – the game itself is based on an older tale but obviously very basic – the jumps are tricky – good timing is needed and the enemies we swear are pretty aggressive – the ending to it left us wanting more and a bit sad – Id openly pay for an extended version with more bosses enemies weapons you name it This goes to show you dont need a ton of graphics and fancy bs to tell a good story or have a good game A+ guys.
This game is so good that we will play it for every day.

This was a mix between action, Adventure, and horror. Just what we wanted.
So,good game,right? But there are some obstacles that are a little hard. The bosses are hard. We cant remember what they looked like though,but you dont have to update the game. :) Everybody have fun playing!
It has a big glitch which is is when you jump up and try to move forward in the air it doesnt work it makes it had like there is a barrier!!!!! And this game is a copy from Onspon gameing!

It looks cool, but tapping the buttons does nothing.
Press and hold right to move right until literally the exact moment that stopping moving right will kill your player at which point the controls will randomly decide if you get to proceed forward or not. Trash.

We play this game quite often and we’ve beat it a couple times and it some how never gets old. We also noticed it was like an 8bit Dante’s Inferno!
We liked the level of challenge, not easy but not impossible.
We don’t go into Free Apps expecting much, we just figured at a glance this game would just be your typical iOS Platformer. This game is anything but a typical Platformer. Gameplay wise it starts you off simple, it presents new things with you at the perfect pace where you never feel like you find out how to do things on your own and don’t need some text in a menu telling you what to do even though there are about 2. Granted the gameplay is very simple so maybe that’s why there wasn’t so much of that. When you come to your first boss you feel helpless. You kinda get a "oh know what do we do" feeling. But by dodging a few of his attracts you can learn what he does, dodge his attacks, and beat him rather quickly only to find on the other side, there are two more of him. And if you thought the first time was suspenseful, that’s nothing compared to the Final Boss. The final boss will have you dying over and over again but it’s rather satisfying since every single time when you die you feel like it’s your fault. It wasn’t a glitch, it wasn’t a bug, it’s because you messed up and you learn from your mistakes and you try again which is amazingly fun. But after the final boss the game isn’t over. You then keep walking to where you will do a a ghost. The ghost begins to follow you and you can’t look it it or else he’ll drift away and die? We think? Point is you look at him and you die. This is where the whole "Don’t Look Back" thing starts. They take away your gun, taking away your ability to shoot. You keep on going through the platforming puzzles trying to time everything you do perfectly. Finally your back where you started but now there’s a grave in the position where you started. And when you notice. You and The ghost that has been following you Vanish! The End. The whole game is Fun, and just makes us want to play it again even though it is pretty short, It’s amazing fun. For the best experience we recommend playing this game at night in a dark room with the lights turned off and headphones. The sound effects and music really add to the whole experience and make the adventure that much better. That’s what we love about this game. It’s an adventure that’s fun. This game is truly the best the App Store has to offer for not just its amazing gameplay, but the Amazing music and the thought that went into threading the story, graphics, gameplay, and sound so closely and tightly together. 5 out of 5. No Question.
A little challenging in some areas but a a quick fun play when you can’t fall asleep on the plane or train. Music was good.

As so many others have said, this is a perfect example of "doing more with less". Countless (paid!) games are instantly forgettable; this one will stick with you.
The game has a good atmosphere with a bit of an oldschool feeling. Sometimes challenging, which we found really nice. The controls have some problems now and then – sometimes we have trouble manoeuvring the character. Nonetheless, good game – recommended!
